Division A: Battle #2
Mikhail Victor: 4
Edward Dewey: 1
After a landslide victory by Mikhail Victor in the first battle, this next battle pits Albert Wesker, the former captain of S.T.A.R.S and ultimate villian of all time against Kenneth Sullivan, a member of Bravo Team who meant an untimely death that was witnessed by Chris and Jill via a videotape.

Division A: Battle #1
Today's battle pits brave and loyal UBCS soldier Mikhail Victor against Bravo Team's pilot Edward Dewey. Unfortunately, both die early on in both of their respective games, so it'll be interesting seeing how this turns out!

Well, it's been a long time since I've posted anything and a LOT of things have happened since July, but I'm not really in the mood to go over em all right now
So, I decided that what better to get back into the gamespot regime then to have a good old fashioned character battle. I haven't done one of these in a long time, I don't think I've even done one on my profile yet! So, here goes nothing! (I think I'll make it Resident Evil themed to start out with).Rules:
-40 different Resident Evil Characters from 0-4 (including Code Veronica X and Umbrella Chronicles) have been picked and two each have been drawn at random for each battle.
-You may only vote once on your favorite character, but you can vote on as many battles as you wish (PLEASE VOTE ON THEM ALL!!!)
-Each poll will be open for 24 hours or so (if there's not enough votes I'll just leave it open until there are)
-Since there are tons of different characters, I am going to try to make 4 different divisions and then have the winners overall battle out for the championship
I think that's all for now so enjoy I guess and I'll have the first one up as soon as possible!

Sad enough, I spent all of my birthday on planes and a car, lol! Anyway, I spent today celebrating my b-day and I'm in New York. I also get to go to Nintendo World tomorrow! I'll tell ya guys what it's like!

3Feb 07I just finished my review on Twilight Princess and i think it's my best one yet, so please read it and rate it. It's pretty long by my standards, so be prepared...

I like this pic of Zelda... it's really dark....- Posted Feb 3, 2007 12:12 am PT

1Feb 07That's right, you heard me. I never thought that in a matter of months, my love for Sony and the Playstation could turn from love to disgust. I remember when I first got my PS1 and I've been with them since, but what they have been doing lately is a complete disgrace to the Playstation name. Is the only way they can get their product sold is by bashing the competition. Yeah, I think you should try Nintendo's method, it works alot better for ya... What the heck is this: "The Wii was nothing but an impulse buy..." They use shear opinion and have nothing to back up that statement. How about a newsflash for ya, the Wii has sold twice as many systems as you guys have. It's pretty scary when, starting with the Playstation 3's release alone, the Xbox 360 already almost sold more. Yep, so I've switched to Wii this year ( I might even consider Xbox 360 a favorite too)... and that's my rant about what I think of everything...

Well, I don't have long to type this, but just letting everyone know that I'll be able to start posting regularily again tomorrow or the next day (depending on when my house gets a stable internet)... I've pretty much moved now... I got a DS and I'll tell all about it when I get a chance... Sorry to everyone (especially the REN) for my long absence, but it has been very hard to find time or even find a computer at all lately...

1Jan 07Well, I finished Twilight Princess and Red Steel a few days ago (I also finished Raving Rabbids too, but there's really nothing to be said about it that hasn't already been said. it's a great game) and they were both great games, but my obvious favorite was Twilight Princess for many reasons. I'll tell ya about each one individually, but you can expect some in depth reviews on them later on.
First off, I'll talk about Twilight Princess. This game deserves a 10, and to tell ya the truth, I rarely give games tens as generous as I am with ratings (and most of the games are Resident Evil games). This game has stunning art and the storyline is great. The ending is really good, but sad because *SPOILERS* Midna destroys the mirror so that Link and Zelda can never return to the Twilight Palace *END SPOILERS*. I know that I'm a very depressed and mentally unstable kid, but for some reason i started tearing at the end credits cause it was really sad music and I started to remember when i started playing it and my cousin was with me and that was the last time i would see my cousin and get to spend time with him in my old town. Now ya guys can make fun of me for being emotional... *waits for teasing to finish* Anyway, I strongly recommend it, read my review when i make it, nuff said...
Now to Red Steel. This game wasn't nearly as great as Twilight Princess, but it was still good. I don't get why people hate it so much, I couldn't stop playing it once i started it. The beginning starts out slow, but action picks up so fast you wouldn't believe it. This game is actually really hard and the AI are really smart. I found myself dying more than I would like to admit. Also, this game is alot more enjoyable if you get your fat butt of the couch and get into the game. The multiplayer is a disappointment, but I have Far Cry Vengeance to make up for that. The ending is great, but feels a little rushed and I didn't get to see the true ending cause i was bad at defending Tokai (that's right, you heard me). So, as far as shooters go this is a really good game that deserves mroe credit than it gets.
Now, seeing as I finished with that business, I think I'm going to drop buy Gamespot tomorrow and pick up Wind Waker. I remember renting it this summer, but the cartoony style really annoyed me. Then I rented it a few days ago, and i got used to the cartoony style and now I love it (especially the sailing, which most people hate). I also want to see if I will actually be lucky once in my life and check for Legend of Zelda: Master Quest, which is so rare you can almost only find it off the internet selling for quite a bit (you can probably tell that I'm really turning into a Zelda fan now). I also bought tons of new Virtual Console games, but I've talked way too long on this blog and will talk about them in another blog... Now I'll shut up and write those reviews soon... I so don't want to have to go to school tomorrow...- Posted Jan 1, 2007 9:05 pm PT

25Dec 06SO, to start off my story, I bought my Wii in my town, which is in the U.S. I've been anticipating Ocarina of Time on the Virtual Console ever since it came out, so all I need to do is wait for it to actually come out. The problem is, I'm moving in a matter of weeks to New Zealand and I have no idea if they are going to release OoT on the Virtual Console there! Does anyone know if, since I bought my Wii in North America, will it still be able to download the North American releases for the VC??!! Even more puzzling, what video game region is New Zealand even in (Australia, North America, Europe, Japan, etc.)!!!??? Sorry, but if any of you guys could help me figure this out, i would really appreciate it!

23Dec 06Well, to start off this blog, Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to everybody. The last day of Hanukkah was yesterday and I was pretty satisfied with what I got. Yesterday was also the last of school for me before holiday break, so I'm happy about that too.
Another thingy that i didn't mention in the blog title was that my house is pretty much empty now. The movers have come and packed up almost everything except my bed, some t.v.s, my video game consoles, and some couches. It's really depressing cause this year has been a good year for me socially and academically. I've made a bunch of new friends, once again made it to high honor roll, had the coolest teachers, and tons of other stuff... I'm really going to miss Missoula and all the people i'm leaving behind...
On a happier note, I'm going to hosting my own video game awards seeing as everybody else is. I'm going to be doing one of all the video game systems, not just for 2006 (because, although this has been a great year of gaming, i don't have enough that i can actually give a good review of to fill all of those categories), so it's going to be really big. Look for my nominees sometime in the future and i'm going to try to be as far as possible (i might even do a GotY for each year that i can remember).- Posted Dec 23, 2006 7:21 am PT

19Dec 06Well, I'm Jewish and it is currently the 4th day of Hanukkah, so happy Hannukah!!! So far I got two calendars, Far Cry: Vengeance, two gift certificates, and a magazine subscription, so I'm really excited to see what I get next!!! I'm crossing my fingers for a season of South Park though, my new favorite T.V. show!!! So anyway, Happy Holidays to everyone this year and be safe this holiday season!!! (and to counter any rumors i've heard as crazy as they may be, the Jews did not sacrafice peeps... where do people come up with this stuff???!!!)

8Dec 06So, as you guys all know, Downhill Jam has pretty much got bad scores everywhere and I have no idea why. It's awesome. Yeah, almost the whole game is racing, but the controls and turning just seem natural. It adds fun to the gameplay and the characters are funny and cool. I even learned that it had a character creation menu (which i didn't even know existed). I just rented it, but I'm probably going to buy it next. I won't go on and on, but just saying that I really enjoyed it even if Gamespot and everybody else bashed it.

1Dec 06Well, after thinking that I would not get sick this year, I get sick. I guess it's good and bad in some ways. I get to miss school and play on my Wii (OH YEAH!!!!!), but I also feel like crap the whole day. I'm also buying Rayman Raving Rabbids to keep me entertained. So, I hope everyone has a good weekend and I hope that I feel better so I can enjoy the weekend too (If I don't, I still have my Wii)

19Nov 06I waited three hours at Best Buy, but I finally got the Wii!!! We got tickets with a number on it (I was 47) and we could go around the town as we pleased as long as we came bac each hour for the roll call. I only bought one game to start off with (Twilight Princess), but all of those things were worth it. The Wii is better than I imagined, the motion sensing is beyond incredible, the games are extremely fun, and it is so tiny!!!!! I can't wait to buy some Wii points so that I can buy some Super Mario games!!! Oh yeah, I rock at Wii Sports (besides Golf)!

18Nov 06As it says in my title, the Wii is coming and I will be standing in line at 6 in the morning tomorrow to try to get myself one. I didn't reserve one, which means it's going to be A LOT harder to get one, but I'm still going to try. So, wish me luck everyone and tell me if you guys manage to get one. If I heard correctly, it has online play and it would be awesome to play with you guys!

Look at it, it's beautiful!- Posted Nov 18, 2006 12:03 pm PT
