West Ham United, the greatest football club ever?
I am a proud supporter of West Ham United, they may not have won the Premier League 10 times or the Champions League, but just look at their list of honours:
FA Cup winners (1964, 1975, 1980) and runners up (1923, 2006, League Cup runners up (1966, 1981), FA Charity Shield (1964), Football League War Cup winners (1940), UEFA Cup Winners Cup winners (1965) and runners up (1976), UEFA Intertoto Cup winners (1999) and International Soccer League winners (1963).
West Ham United had what a lot of people still consider today to be the best English defender ever seen: Bobby Moore, sadly he was taken from us in 1993 at the age of 51. Just watch this and you'll understand why he was the greatest (from 0:30 to 0:45) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMTL9Dm-nYo
Every football fan will agree that the World Cup is the greatest football tournament and West Ham, in 1966, won the World Cup and so, West Ham must be the greatest football club ever!
