Hey everyone, it's been over half a year since I last posted on this site, and this has given me pause for thought. I simply don't have time to play or discuss video games nowadays. This is fine. My life is going well and I have no qualms to speak of at the moment. But I never visit Gamespot anymore...for anything. I have such fond memories of when I first joined this site seven years ago in order to write reviews. The ability to write those reviews and share them with all of you has helped my career so much, and I pray that all of you know how much I appreciate your feedback and support. This site has done so much for me, and having the Top 100 Reviewers Emblem is still an amazing accomplishment for me. However, due to the fact that I'm finishing college soon and might be starting a family in the near future, I believe that it is time i depart from this Gamespot.
As far as I'm concerned, there is no way that I can erase my account. Unfortunate, but fine. I'll always cherish all of the friends that I have made on Gamespot over the years, and wish you all the best. I leave you all with one of my favorite quotes,
"The great moments of your life won't necessarily be the things you do, they'll also be the things that happen to you. Now, I'm not saying you can't take action to affect the outcome of your life, you have to take action, and you will. But never forget that on any day, you can step out the front door and your whole life can change forever. You see, the universe has a plan kids, and that plan is always in motion. A butterfly flaps its wings, and it starts to rain. It's a scary thought but it's also kind of wonderful. All these little parts of the machine constantly working, making sure that you end up exactly where you're supposed to be, exactly when you're supposed to be there. The right place at the right time." - Ted (How I Met Your Mother)
God bless, and lead extraordinary lives!
-Daniel
