I was going to buy AC but then i played it for a while and thought, its a great game, but gets repetitive very quickly, so i cancelled my pre-order after it was delayed a second time within the month.
Now i am awaiting stock of Mario Kart Wii. MKW Looks great fun, i have even bought another controller so 4 of us can play at once, think the steering wheel is a little overpriced but at least one comes with it and cheap ones are really cheap especially with all the other bits. So bring on MKW, only a couple more days now ![]()
Well i have looked at quite a few demo's recently and have put the videos up, i have a pretty good idea of what i'm going to buy next, i have pre-ordered Assasins Creed after playing it on the 360, can't wait to see the PC version.
I am very impresed by the Witcher which i'm torn about whether to get it before or after AC, does anyone else recommend any decent upcoming games?
Well that covers the PC for the WII i am interested in getting Ghost Squad but don't know whether to get the zapper or the perfect shot, both look good.
Finally got some free time this weekend and blitzed the rest of TimeShift, all i can say is wow, the game is very addictive and extremely fast paced, the story was a bit scarce but then it didn't really need one and what it had was good enough in my opinion, the violence and torment was fully justified at the end leaving that wonderful satisfaction that completing a game should give. Now all thats left is try the hardest setting, that will certainnly be a serious challenge.
My only disappointment is the popularity of the game, if you go online theres about 2 servers with more than 4 people playing, i suppose COD4 and Cryisis still have too many people entertained.
Back to the positive and i really enjoyed this game and would recommend it to anyone that likes first person shooters, i will put a review up sometime soon
After playing crysis i thought it be some time before i was gripped so much much again, then i was bought TimeShift for Christmas.
I love this game, it has me well and truely gripped, I am playing through on skilled, the second of the 3 difficulty settings and it is hard enough as it let alone on experienced. The time control abilities just grip you, but if you use them too soon you will be dead before you know it. My favorite ability has to be time stop although it the shortest abilty you can confuse your oppenents to no end. Slowing time is very handy though when taking on an army as you can zip inbetween them all as they fire and switch to reverse if someone manages to stick a grenade to you.
I have made a video and my PC has no problems recording while running at 1900x1200 with full settings and 4x AA, ok it doesn't look as great as Crysis but it is more than good enough by todays standards, not only that you just don't have time to stand around and admire the scenary, even if you do stop time for a while.
Well Christmas is over and i'm feeling pretty fat lol. Hope you all had a great day and ate as much as i did.
Hope you all got loads of presents too, i Got Timeshift for the PC and anotehr Wii Remote (which makes 3) so only one more to get, they are still so hard to get hold of and lots of other little pressies.
Next is the New Year, having a party here to celebrate and hope you will be doing something to celebrate the start of 2008, i see good things for next year and some superb games along with it.
So HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
