All About LotusEliseGeek
I got one. Yeah! It's soooo cool, with the movies and games and.... well, i'm not going to go on about this. IT's just awesome.
If you listen to the podcast, you can hear my entry for the homework! Yeah! The homework was a cross between Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid, and Animal Crossing. Yeah! Woot! (goes away to eat cake)
Not really. Haha, sorry Battlefront 3 hunters. You can go away now. Really though, What if EA bought the Battlefront franchise?Would they change the name? Pass it around. See what others think!
OK. First, I want you to clear your mind. Think not of how good a game can be, but how much money you could make out of it. Think like a producer, not a programmer. If you search on Amazon for Battlefront, you will get everything Battlefront. Same for Battlefield. Search it, get it. You will notice that the two games are not on each other's search lists too. Now, let's say EA wants to take Battlefront, remake it, and start it fresh. Two thing could happen.
1: They do not change the name. People are familiar with it and they buy Battlefront 3.
2: They change the name to Battlefield: Star Wars. This make players somewhat unfamiliar with the title, but EA could start marketing it.
Sounds bad for number two? Not quite. Remember that EA is a company. Companies want you to buy whatever they make. Remember that search thing?
1: People buy Battlefront 3, but EA gains not extra traffic on their shooter series, Battlefield, because the games are not on each other's search result lists.
2: People search Battlefield: Star Wars, and people see that there are other games like this one because the similar name produces more results. They buy other Battlefield shooters made by EA.
See? If they changed the name, they would make more money! If you are a businessman, this is a great harvest of money for you!
