    Tagged and Switching Sides

    Hi.

Yea well I have to some really big news about my gaming and how it might change. But before I do that I've been tagged, so let's start off this blog on a happy note.

Okay so list 10 facts about myself… And here we go.

    1. I'm Asian. So if you wanna picture me in ur head. Picture a really hot asian guy. Yea that's me.

    2. I have a pet cat with a lightning shaped patch on her forehead. Her name is Shazam! I had a hamster but it died

    3. I have seen 15 summers and winters and everything else. Wait no I was born in October… 14 summers? Well I'm 15 years old so yea.

    4. I'm Malaysian. It's that country between Thailand and Singapore. Yea go look it up. Fine I'll do it for you...

    5. I'm Malaysian but I live in Canada currently for my dad's work.

    6. I can speak English and I'm learning Spanish. I can barely speak Malaysian, which is the only asian language I know. I wanna learn Korean tho, sigh.

    7. I'm a head banger. So I like the metal music. 'Specially the Melodic Death Metal (Black Dahlia Murder, COB FTW!) and progressive (Opeth, Mastodon m/) n other stuff. Oh also the black metal (Cradle of Filth, Skeletonwitch!) Remember bak then when I liked Yellowcard and Linkin Park! Yea, it's evolution man. It's best music bro!

    8. And when I'm not listening to the blast beats and the guitar riffs, k-pop is the other awesomeness that ever graced Earth. K-pop is Korean Pop. Yea, on the other side of the spectrum. I think that's one of the few Asian characteristics about me. And I like the girl groups for obvious reasons. The boy bands just don't appeal to me.

    9. She is my wife. Or one that I hope will be? Iono

    10. Uhh whats my last one. Oh, I know how to play the alto saxophone. It's a very sexy instrument. For sexy people to play. Like me.

    11. I just burped.

    And damn it stinks!

Well recently, I came home and decided to go on a rampage in MW2 multiplayer, but of course not, Microsoft wouldn't let me. Yes I got the Red Ring of Death once again. My third time in two years and what did I do? Nothing. I didn't play since last Monday. And I only turned on my 360 to go see the new Facebook and Twitter updates but no. RROD would not permit it.

I got the one red light again. Before I had E 74. But now I had the E 73. How cruel.

    ONE

So seriously, if my PlayStation 1, which I had ever since my 8th birthday, still works after all these years and my 360 dies three times in two years. What the heck? The 360 is awesome in the idea, the concept but it's just some terrible hardware and I really don't want to be disappointed again. Especially after I send it to get repaired which takes over a month.

I think it's time to get a break from Microsoft. I have played most of the best 360 exclusives that are out there already. And I think it might be time to switch sides.

Yes, I want a PS3 and with the PS3 Slim and the price drop, it might happen. See Sony! The price drop was the way to go! So yea, I don't want to send my 360 in, I just want to take a break from it for a while. My plan is to trade in some of my games which I won't/can't play anymore such as Modern Warfare 2, Brutal Legend and some others for a PS3.

That's what I want to do. But I'm not 100% sure at the moment. Some cons about switching sides is, I will be saying good bye to a lot of my friends. I can't finish Ninja Gaiden Black, Jade Empire. I won't be able to play Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction when it comes out… And I will never get to tweet from my Xbox 360. Never.

Some pros, well I can list all the pros right here. MGS4, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2, inFamous, Killzone 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Demon Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, Heavenly Sword. I could get Batman: AA, Dragon Age: Origins, Prototype, Red Faction: Guerilla and most importantly Assassin's Creed 2. I can still play BioShock 2 when it comes out and don't forget the HEAVY RAIN. I wanna play that game so badly.

    ffff

This is my 99th blog, what a great way to hit my 100th.

So should I ditch the Xbox 360 for now and get a PS3? I will return but not anytime soon.

So that's it for now. Zellgun1126 on the Xbox 360 will be on hiatus until when? Who knows. But it won't be anytime soon. Hopefully my parents will agree to this PS3 deal.

And maybe someday Zellgun1126 will awaken in the near future.

    Maybe someday.

Free Food, MW2 Impressions, Stalking and more!

    Yo-la!

That's "yo" in Spanish! Actually no it's not, but whatevss.

So I'm back with a quick update. Not going to talk much here except one thing or game in particular. The game that people call "game of the decade"; the game that came out on November 10, 2009; the game with so much action, everyone loves it. You guessed it, the game is…

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Now this game gave me mixed feelings. It was fun in the beginning but then got incredibly boring, so I threw it out the window. That is my impressions, have fun everyone!

Lololol Okay I lied, it's not a Dragon Ball game, yea yea we all know what game it really is! It's obviously Phantasy Star 0 on the Nintendo DS! Yes this game is- Oh what? You don't think that's the game? Well good on ya! Here's a COOKIE!

    CoOKIE

    Mmmmm

Now I finished Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Regular in 6-7 hours after I got it. Now right of the top, this game is incredible, fantastic elastic or mind blasting as some might say! COD4 was a great game but it was due to the great characters, mission structure, storytelling, and overall gameplay. It had a couple moments here and there but not too many.

Modern Warfare 2 on the other hand has topped everything from COD4 and more. Gameplay, story, cut scenes, weapons, enemies, everything is top notch. They had many, many great action sequences which I loved that I reloaded a checkpoint just to watch it again. They have detailed, much more open levels and set pieces, tight controls and it's just a great game.

    fffff

You can climb snow mountains. Nuff said.

The game will surprise you more than once and will have more effect if you've played COD4. Actually I really want to play it right now so like I will. BRB

Okay lol I'm back, finally after playing some crazy Spec Ops and Multiplayer. Now Spec Ops is just great. It's just incredibly epic to play through some of the epic parts of the campaign with a friend. It kinda sucks that its only 2 players allowed but it also gives you the sense of urgency to stay alive. There are a lot of Spec Ops levels and with the star thing, it has lots of replayability.

Then there's multiplayer which is very MIND BLASTING. No, no anything can blow your mind, this thing BLASTED my MIND! So many improvements and such awesome maps that makes multiplayer a blast. Now I wasn't much of a multi-player before but MW2's multiplayer is actually very fun for me. It seems a lot easier to play with the tighter controls and the +100 after each kill is much more satisfying than the usual +10.

    ggggg

    You gotta love the AC-130

The game is not completely perfect; the mission briefings are generic and similar. You don't feel much of a hero unlike the COD4. Plus I finished the game in 6-7 hours… Why couldn't I finish a repetitive game like Far Cry 2 in 6-7 hours? Speaking of Far Cry… I need to finish it

Anyways that's that. Tuesday is around the corner, Assassin's Creed 2 looks great and I can't wait! But I might not even play it until Friday for this week is pretty busy, end of the term in school and I need to try to get the highest grades in what little time I have.

    EZIO

I'm slowly walking to stores worldwide. Arriving on Tues tops.

Oh and I also made a Twitter for the heck of it. I guess I'll start using it for quick updates that usually go on my blogs. But with Twitter now I can update the small updates there and my blogs will have space for more important stuff and I'm sure they will be a lot shorter now.

So follow me on Twitter if you have one, and if you don't go make one and follow me anyway. Lmao I'll give you more COOKIES!!!

Small news, I borrowed Pure just for fun and yea. Btw go watch Assassin's Creed Lineage part 2 and part 3 now if you still haven't!

That's it for now! Go play MODERN WARFARE... TWO!

I See Why there are Crazy Wii Sales

    Wii-lo!

Well that was lame… lol whatever. So I'm back with quite a bit of news. So let's go straight into it.

I finished a couple of games like Bully finally. That game is a heck of a lot of fun and I had it since spring. Everyone who owns a 360 or Wii and loves GTA should try out Bully. On the 360 its only $10 and it's a great game. It definitely has a lot of GTA elements, even the cut scenes remind you a lot of the GTA: SA cutscenes. The dated graphics aren't too bad and it's a fun game. A review? Maybe..

    Bully

    "Here's my homework Mr. Galloway..."

I also finished Brutal Legend after 2 or 3 sittings of it. And I did all the side quests, I got like 83/120 dragons, 7/13 legends and 99% of the songs! That's just one more song somewhere!! Gonna be impossible to find! The game is great, it has one of the best escape sequence ever, with the most CHEESIEST METAL song to top it off, but it fits so well, it was so EPIC! And also the last battle had on the best transitions I've seen from a cutscene to the gameplay.

The music choice was just great, they really picked some great songs in this game by some well known bands and some underappreciated bands aswell. The gameplay is alrite, the strategy is a little weird to get into first, but you'll get used to it. There is really not much reason to explore the world and do the side quests, and the map is pretty linear after the first area… The high qualities of this game is the story, character and dialogue. Overall the game is very entertaining but it tries to be many things at once. Look out for my review of my 2nd most anticipated game of the year.

Shadow Complex has been completed aswell and that game is great! A lot of backtracking even when the map is huge and it looks GREAT for an Xbox Live Arcade game. In the beginning, you feel very underwhelmed with a small peashooter or pistol. But as you progress it becomes much more fun as you obtain parts for your EPIC SUIT. Although once you have the full suit, you get to spend little time with it. But you can do all this crazy things with your suit like go super fast, and fly rlly high and uhh other cool things! The platforming feels great the only bad part is how the game handles enemies that are behind you.

    Haha

    "Now, they will never leave."

You move in on 2 dimensions, left and right, up and down. Sometimes enemies come in from the background and will shoot at you where you have to aim at them by pushing the stick upwards, which usually will make you point at the sky. But it somehow points at the enemy and is hard to get used to. But overall that game is lots of fun and worth its money.

    I think I finished a couple other games, but I'm blanking on them… I have a lot of games I haven't finished. A lot… heh, I'll get around to them… Eventually… Hopefully..

So anyways, last week, I found a pretty good deal on a Wii. So yea, now I'm a Wii owner. Big deal. Let's move on.

Lol jokes. The deal included a Nintendo Wii with two wii motes and nunchuks, a nintendo clas*ic controller, 4 Mario Kart steering wheels, a charging dock, Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Mario Kart Wii, Wii Sports and all for $250 CND. Yea after that my parents bought the Wii Fit Plus and I decided that Dead Space: Extraction should be the first game I should play for realz on the Wii. It's... pretty scary! I am getting used to the controls on the wiimote, trying to learn the buttons, there's a Z button! That's cool! More on Dead Space next time.

    Ewwww

    "Mom? Is that you?"

So yea, need to get some Wii games I need to get. Including Super Mario Galaxy, Okami, No More Heroes, MadWorld, de Blob and all that, so yea… I'm going to connect to the internet, but I won't share my Wii Friend Code or nething, for some particular reasons. Maybe I'll change it who knows.

Other things to note… I got Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story on the DS but I won't start that until later on.

Also it's the month of November! Three epic games that I really want are released in this month which includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed 2 and Left 4---- Dragon Age: Origins! Yes DA: O came out yesterday but I prob won't get it right away or anytime soon. I need to save money so that I can get MW2 and Assassin's Creed 2 first. Every time I see gameplay footage of those two games, I get more hyped up for them! They look great and I really can't wait for them!

So yea, that's it for now. Next blog will probably right after I play Assassin's Creed 2, which I can't wait for, did I mention that? Yea my 97th blog I think? Yup nearing the 100th mark.

Oh and I'm lvl 28 now… Bionic Commando. Pretty cool. See ya'll round then.

Btw, have you guys seen the Assassin's Creed Lineage Episode 1 video? It's some crazy stuff!
