Welcome to my profile. I've been playing video games since I was three, pretty much nonstop, even though I rarely find a game that I really enjoy. I usually don't enjoy playing video games unless they have a good story or have co-op, although I have somehow still managed to get achievement crazy on my 360. I think some guys at Bungie said it best while describing playing CTF on Halo 2 and you are killed a second before scoring, you hate it but you also love it and when it's over you want to do it again. The only difference is that now, I want to do it again and again and again to get those damn achievements. I seem to be the same way with the emblems on Gamespot.

Upcoming games that I might/will buy. I probably will not get all of them, me adding them here just means that I am interested in the game, but not so much so that I will buy it even if it is getting bad reviews everywhere. Ones with extras or special editions come first if I don't have enough money. Text in ( ) is to remind me where I preordered it or if I still need to

I went to a pawn shop yesterday and bought a few movies
007 Tomorrow Never Dies: $4
Ok, this and Goldeneye are better than the last two Brosnan movies
007 Quantum of Solace: $4
Easily one of my least favorite Bond movies. This is the first time I have seen this one. Horrible camera work during the action and this is the first time I skipped the opening theme song during a 007 movie, hell I even listened to Madonna in Die Another Day (my second worst Bond movie).
This brings my total up to 13 of the 007 films and now that I got all the crap out of the way (all the Brosnan and Craig movies) I can get back to getting the other great to good ones (with the exception of Moore's last which was my least favorite if I remember right). I think I have four more Connery ones and five more Moore ones, and On His Majesty's Secret Service.
Punisher War Zone: $4
Another Marvel movie to add to the collection. He punishes a lot of people and he does it with a much better camera angle than Daniel Craig. I enjoyed it
Batman Mystery of the Batwoman: $4
My third animated Batman movie, making for the fifth one that I own. I haven't watched it yet but I liked Mask of the Phantasm more than The Dark Night.
Stargate Atlantis Season 3: $19
This one I bought at Wal-Mart last week. I have the first three seasons now.
Die Hard Collection: $10
Also bought at Wal-Mart last week. Has the first three movies. I love the first one, thought the third was ok, and I had never seen the second. I liked the second more than the third. Have all four now.
Christmas Gifts
Food, lots of meat, cheese, bottle of red creame soda, and hot sauce.
A blanket with a wolf on it, I like wolves
A blue mini flashlight for my car with a tripod
Kingdom of Heaven Directors Cut
I have the original movie but wanted to get the directors cut, which from what I've heard brings the movie from good to great. Seems to cost a lot usually but my mom bought it for me for $11 at the same pawn shop I went to. Haven't watched it yet.
A 1600 point MS Point Card

Shadow Complex: 800 Points
Since it is on sale this week I decided to pick it up. It won't be the next Castlevania SoTN but it should be worth $10. I still have about 1800 points so I should be able to take care of at least three of the DLCs I want in the next three month (one for Left 4 Dead 2, two for RE5, and two for Assassins Creed 2).
$20 gift card for Hollywood video. Should rent 3-4 games. Just in time since I used my last free rental last week.
A coat. I don't really wear coats. It started raining/snowing at work yesterday and we all had to go bring all the carts in from outside. My friend and I are always fine in our short sleeve shirts and pants. It actually seemed warmer than most days. I haven't seen the snow in at least six years.
A razor. I just use my electric one, I don't know why they got me this.

I got this figure from the game Perfect World from Jody. It was one of the things Jody was giving away on her blog. I also got two inflatable Dragons Age swords.
Edit
110 Score and 110 Streak on the 360 Snowball throwing mini game. Go to the last spotlight to play the game and get my avatar back, if you are on my friends list I got yours.

I rented the game yesterday with my last free rental cupon and, single player wise, I think it is my least favorite game that I have played this year.I still need to try the multiplater though
The Bad
The enemies suck (all two of them)
Your allies are almost as useless as they are in ODST (the unnamed soldiers at least)
The weapons suck (except the sniper, which is ok) and they aren't fun to shoot. If you compare the gameplay to something like the Call of Duty series with great control and shooting or with a more tactical game where ever kill has to be earned it just isn't fun shooting enemies in this game.
The game is too damn dark even though I set the brightness as high as it could go (WTF is wrong with developers, I love you Valkyria Chronicles)
Why is it that games with crappy stories and characters that no one cares about (this, Lost Planet, other games I forgot possibly while still playing them) always have long dramatic character deaths or scenes dealing with it
The dialogue consists of What the/...this/...you (just add **** to the appropriate part) and unfunny gay jokes
Horrible "boss" fights
Dumbest troop transport design ever
Short (I beat it in around five hours)
The knife is the best weapon in the game and due to the poor way you move and aim it is also the most accurate (on easy and normal difficulties at least). Enemy has a shotgun, run up and knife him. Enemy has a missile launcher, run up and kinfe him. Enemy has a flamethrower, run up and knife him. Enemy far away on a mounted gun, run up and knife him. Surrounded, knife everyone. For some reason half the enemies seem to ignore you when you have the knife out, it's like it puts you in some stealth mode without actually doing anything.
Worst cover system EVER (you know how before cover systems where you could duck and it was annoying that your guy could not duck low enough to conceal himself, well this game has a cover system and your guy is still to stupid to do that making the cover button more pointless than the crouch button that it overrides)
Why the **** is there no threat indicator? This means two things, if I am getting shot at I have no idea where it is coming from. If there is one enemy in a big area I have to clear he is very hard to find.
The game has to load mid level every now and then, it doesn't tell you it is doing this so for about 10 seconds or more you are sitting there wander if the game is loading or if it froze. Many checkpoints are also given to you right before areas where the game needs to load, if you keep dying expect to wait over and over again.
Dialogue messes up every now and then, making character repeat words over and over (not that you will care because the dialogue sucks)
Half the characters you will want to see killed, the other half you won't care about. Only the half you want to see die will live.
There was at least four times in the game where I had no idea where to go. Everytime I was in the right spot I just had to wait at least two minutes for the game to realize I was in the right spot and to move my allies to where they were supposed to go.
Ends on a cliffhanger (the bad Assassins Creed kind)
The Good
The opening cinematic (that guy needed to be in the game more)
Character animations (I love games where things react to being shot, of course, I love it more when things just die when you shoot them)
The sniper rifle doesn't suck
The jumping (really it's great)
If I could see anything the graphics might be good
Setting enemies on fire...or watching your allies on fire (guess they are good for something)
Multiplayer is probably the best Competitive FPS of the year
The sound is great

I bought a PSP, the Hannah Montana one, for some reason it is cheaper than buying a new PSP 3000 by itself ($20 cheaper). It comes with a purple PSP 3000 (not girly Jessica!), which I like better than the black, the usual battery pack and adaptor, and it comes with a 2GB memory stick. I was going to get the Assassins Creed one because I liked the white more than the black but then I realized this was $50 cheaper and comes with the same things (just a different crappy game and instead of a crappy movie crappy TV show episodes).
I've bought six games for it so far, I ordered the PSP on Amazon and also got

Metal Gear Acid: $12
I love Metal Gear and cards. Yay

Generations of Chaos: $15
I thought it would be like an anime version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It is, but the horrible slowdown is much more annoying than I thought it would be. It takes a second or two to load after every few lines of dialouge in cut scenes, what the hell?

Persona: $28
Bought it new with the two disk soundtrack and box. 67 Tracks total, Persona and Demons Souls shows that Atlus knows how to make a soundtrack. I like it a lot so far.
It's the Playstation game with slightly upgraded graphics, new cutscenes with voice, new music to make it more like the newer Persona games (probably a bad thing for the most part, though the battle music isn't anywhere near as annoying, it just keeps getting better as more Persona games come out), and it added the Snow Queen quest back to the game, which was cut from the US release of the Playstation version. The Snow Queen Quest is an entirely different path you can take at the start of the game, almost doubling the length of the game. Even more replay value when you have to decide on taking 1 of 4 characters as your fifth member in the main story or 2 of 3 as your fourth and fifth in the Snow Queen quest, while having a new character with you by default for the Snow Queen.
Bought at Gamestop

Metal Gear Portable Ops: Free
I wanted to buy Metal Gear Portable Ops but it was at least $40 used online at Amazon so I went to Gamestop. I found it used for $15 and they had a buy two get one free deal along with two other games I wanted. It's just like a Metal Gear Solid game, but with lousy controls. Not really anything they could have done other than to put the game on the PS2 like they should have in the first place, you are able to completely customize your controls though. Not that it helps without a second stick and four buttons missing (L2, L3, R2, R3). I still enjoy it though. Recruiting characters to help you is kind of cool, having to drag them back to your truck is not.

Crisis Core FF 7: $18
Not to far into it but I like it so far (I love not having turn based battles in this and FF 12) and it isn't the greatest hits version. Always hate getting the greatest hits version, damn ugly red in the middle of all my other black box games.

Star Ocean First Departure: $18
I am just about to play it but I loved the Snes version a few years ago. This one updates the graphics a little and adds a new character, like Persona you have to decide on what optional characters you want. I think you get four by default and have to choose four characters from 8 or 9 others.
Now I can get the new Metal Gear Solid and Valkyria Chronicles 2 (BUY IT so they can release the next one on the PS3)

Wal-Mart was selling some Blu-Ray movies for $10 so I picked up two of them after work

Three Disk Special Edition of The Dark Knight

Wanted
Games Bought

Dead Space Extraction: $Z5
I am about halfway through and am really enjoying it. I wasn't planing on buying it yet but it was for sale at Wal-Mart for half price. By the time I got off work all next gen games were sold out, I went to the other end of the store to check out with Batman and Wanted and saw this just sitting in some random spot.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles: $45
I had $10 off on Amazon and it was already $5 cheaper, with how long it is taking for the first game to go down in price I didn't think I would be finding it much cheaper anytime soon. Just got it today, have not played it yet.

Ghost Squad: $13
Fun arcade shooter. Play through it multiple times to unlock new paths and weapons, very short but fun. Decided to get it now while I had my free month of free two day shipping.

Fear Effect 2: $9
Should come with everything and is much cheaper than I usually see it for, I ordered this on Amazon along with Resident Evil and Ghost Squad.

Left 4 Dead 2
I played through the first two of five campaigns. It's great, like the first with improvements. A lot of new guns and fun to use melee weapons as well as new enemies. The characters are ok so far, I like Coach and Nick, both are good replacements for Bill and Louis, Ellis is funny but not as good as Zoey. The girl sucks, so I guess she is like Francis.I tried co-op once with a friend but it was very laggy for both of us at first them him later. My wireless internet is slow and I think his brothers were playing WoW so that would explain it.

Assassins Creed 2
I've been playing this a lot and have really been enjoying it. It's definetely an imporvement over the first so far. I like the way money is used, the duel hidden blades, weapon collection, and upgrading your town.
"Itsa mee Mario!"
Movies Bought

Naruto Shippuden Movie 1
Two years after the first series ends and I still hate Naruto (in the shows timeline). Needs more Kakashi and Shikamaru. Wal-Mart has been getting a lot of Naruto stuff in lately and they always have cheaper prices so I have been getting stuff their.

Naruto Movie 2
Ordered off of Amazon for $5, I have all the movies once I get this one.
Series
Naruto Season 1 (box set one and two out of the 16)
With the release of Shippuden the price of Naruto is going down. New box sets used to be $30-$40 each (with 12-15 episodes each), they have gone down in price and are now coming out with seasons that mix two box sets for $20-$30. The next one comes out next week and the first box set of Shippuden in Janurary, I will be getting those when they come out. So far I have the 4 movies, OVA, and box sets 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. and will have 3 and 4 when I get the next season.
Babylon 5 Season 3
Babylon 5 Season 1
Babylon 5 and the X Files are my favorite shows, Wal-Mart just got these in for $20 each so I picked up these two. Giving me seasons 1, 3, and 5. Just need 2, 4, and five of the six movies (no interest in one of them). Wal-Mart also just got in season 1/2, 3, 4, and 9 of the X Files. Shame I already own the first four, don't know if I will get 9 yet. I might, it's only $13.

Bleach Season 3
Love last few episodes of this season. Good but the first two are my favorites so far overall

Bleach Season 4
Ok but not that good of a season, also one disk shorter than the past three at the same price of $50 (luckily only $35 at Wal-Mart).
These were all bought within the last month and a half
I get paid about $570 every two weeks with $20 going to insurance and $50 to 401K and put at least half in savings. You can see where my money goes. Of course it doesn't help this is the half of the year where almost all the anticipated games come out, September-March.

We exited the elevator, each wielding an LMG. We noticed a crowd of people waiting in line and a few security guards. We waited for a few seconds, the rage building inside the longer people went without complimenting us on our stylish bulletproof vests. Seconds turned to minutes, I could no longer keep the rage inside, "Hey, over here stupid!" I yelled to the nearest guard. He turned towards me and, with a smile, informed me that it was no longer the 90s and we couldn't just bring anything we wanted onto the airplane.
I returned the warm smile and informed him that I disagreed, I went on to say that I would show them all just how much I disagreed. Within seconds my good friends and I each had our own Running Riot, surely nothing would ruin our excellent K/D ratio in this round. The remaining members of the crowd must have been in a real hurry to get to their plane because they all ran screaming away from us. I decided that I would help them with their tickets, I would buy the tickets for them and make sure that they all got on the flight they wanted. Oddly enough, everyone wanted the same type of ticket, one way, straight to hell. It must be a good vacation spot around this time, what with the cold of the winter months. Perhaps I would vacation there one day soon.
As I walked through the airport giving out as many tickets as I could I couldn't help but have fond memories of one of my favorite movie series. It was probably just the excitement but for some reason I could have sworn that I kept seeing John McClane everywhere I went. Thinking back, I must have looking like a real fool saying, "Are you John McClane?" To people just before I sent them on their merry way. I think I must be going crazy, although, I never did get an answer, just more screaming. I really must go on vacation one of these days, it gets people so excited. Two of my friends decided that they would go, I bid them farewell and continued on my way.
Everywhere I went people were in need of help, but I had no time for errands today. I came across a man sitting over the body of another man, he looked at me and said, "My lord could you spare any healing potions?"
I came across a lot of people with similar questions as I walked through that airport, my answer was always the same, "Maybe on my next playthough." He stopped asking for help once I gave him his ticket, in fact, I gave him a couple hundred tickets.
Another person asking for favors, "I'm hungry, won't you spare some coin?"
"I have no coin, but I have some pizza on me, every pizza comes with pepperoni and bullets!" I didn't ask her if she enjoyed it or not, I believe I saw the answer in the horrible expression on her face as I left. Bullets always were like sardines, they take some getting used to.
Police began to storm the bulding, eager to stop us from handing out anymore tickets. "Why must the man always keep people from enjoying themselves?!" The police went away after we gave them tickets of their own, but they were mean policemen, surely they didn't deserve to go to such a hot spot as hell. No, we sent them to Jersey instead.
My remaining friends and I prepared to get into a van, we would be leaving to our next desination, or so I thought. My best friend stopped me from getting into the vehicle, "Buddy, I think you earned a vacation to." He raised his gun
"Oh goody, I could use some time off."
"You're going to Jersey."
"oh, ****!"

Call of Duty 4 Hardened Edition
Call of Duty as a free download on Xbox Live

Dragon Age Origins Special EditionI played almost nothing but Dragon Age for the last week, I am always a good person in RPGs. I help everyone I can and turn down the rewards for doing so. For the most part, I just seem to be unable to play the evil route in an RPG. Even so, being such a paragon of virtue does get boring every now and then. Which is why mowing down defensless civilians in Call of Duty MW2 was such as welcome change of pace. Is it disturing, sick, wrong? (.....NO!) Do I give a **** if it is or not? HELL NO!
As I shot everyone in the airport I just imagined all the people asking me to preform some stupid task. "Give me money to better my poor life. Go get food for my family. Find ingredients and make a potion to cure grandma. Get my cat out of the tree." NO MORE!
What do I think about both games?
I don't even know if I would call Modern Warfare 2's Single Player good, especially not when it is compared to the previous games. The multiplayer more than makes up for it though, it's like the first Modern Warfare but with a lot of additions, Spec Ops mode also looks like it will be a lot of fun. So far I finished the game on hardened, got all the 45 intel pieces, got to level 30 in Multiplater, and got at least two stars in all the first SO missions. I need to play through it on veteran now, and the Multiplayer I will likely be playing for a long time.
Dragon Age is a great game. Great characters, party dialoge, an interesting world, good amount of choices. The combat is good but it is also my only real problem with the game. Unless I am missing some cammands for the scripts this game has horrible AI when you are in battle, I have to constantly watch over my party, and though that isn't much of a problem (I always paused and issued ordersa in Baldurs Gate), with the new view it just isn't as easy as the old Baldurs Gate or Icewind Dale games, even in the PCs top down view.
I would easily recommend both games. Dragons Age is my favorite Single Player game of the year so far, and Call of Duty my favorite Multiplayer. Of course, it won't be long before Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassins Creed 2 are out.

I've been buying a lot of 007 movies, either at pawn shops or at Wal-Mart, the most each cost me is $5.
So that makes a total of 10 movies
DR. No
Goldfinger
Thunderball
The Spy Who Loved Me
Damn Gamespot Text Censoring
The Living Daylights
Licence to Kill
Goldeneye
The World is Not Enough
Die Another DayMost of them I had never seen the entire movie or in the last two's case I have never seen at all. I loved all three of the Sean Connery ones, of course, Dr No, Goldfinger, and Thunderball. Not sure what would be my favorite, four more left to get with him. I liked both of the Roger Moore movies, with The Spy Who Loved Me being my favorite one that he was in out of the seven, even my favorite opening song if I remember right. Pierce Bronsan is probably my least favorite Bond (I never did see the George Lazenby movie, which I've heard is great....except for him). I kind of like Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough, I forgot if I liked Tomorrow Never Dies, and I hated Die Another Day. With the exception of Vew to Kill I would say Die Another Day is my least favorite movie, theme song by Madonna, I don't like Halle Berry, too much focus on Halle Berry (like Natalya in Goldeneye, also hated her), and is makes horrible use of CGI. I don't know about Connery, but are all the Bonds last movies always their worst?
I already own Casino Royal, which means that I own half of the movies. I just need
From Russia With Love
You Only Live Twice
On Her Majestys Secret Service
Diamonds Are Forever
Live and Let Die
The Man With the Golden Gun
Moonraker
For Your Eyes Only
A View to Kill
Tomorrow Never Dies
Quantum of SolaceI know you think he is a man ***** but I still love 007 movies Jessica.
Other Movies
Wal-Mart is selling every season of Futurama and the movies for around $12 each so I ended up picking up Season 3 and 4. I love Bender, why did he have to go play a lousy character like Marcus Fenix after being Bender? Why couldn't Bender have just been in Gears of War, that would have been awesome.
Reviews
I found this when the review came up, and NeonNinja later sent me a PM
"Do you like cars? If so, Forza Motorsport 3 is the game for you. In fact, provided you don't hate cars, Forza Motorsport 3 is the game for you."
In my last blog I said I hated cars, and I do, a few days later I see that opening for Gamespot's Forza 3 review. Even with my hatred of cars (and usually driving and sports games) I did enjoy the first Forza.
My Review
Douglas is working on his site and it sounds like he is busy so I still don't have my review that a mentioned over a month ago up yet, it should be coming though
Game Bought

Borderlands
Been playing this. I wanted to play as a Hunter but Jessica was already one so I switched to a Siren, so right now I have a level 9 Hunter and a level 21 Siren. My other friend I have played with is a Soldier c1ass I really like the game so far. A lot of guns. The only thing I don't like so far is all the creatures you fight, there needs to be some more people, or more creature variety.
I was going to buy a copy for Jessica for her Birthday and one for me so we could play together but her Brother bought it when it came out. I'll have to think of something else to get her now.
Lord of the Rings Online
Level 40 Hunter, yay

Here are 10 facts about me
1: After kindergarten, why do they have that, I was home schooled with my sister, which I enjoyed because I never liked being around other kids. I don't remember what it was through when I was younger but we switched to something else later on, and when I was in seventh grade through high school I had to go to c1asses 1-2 days out of the week.
2: I never had many friends, I had one when I was younger then two through high school. The few I would call friends I would usually want to be around constantly, some people said that I was like a puppy following its owner around. I think Jessica knows this, she says I call and text her too much, grumpy muffin.
I really didn't care much for other people around me, I am usually always nice and help people whenever I can but if I was told that someone I knew was moving, I was not going to see them for awhile, in one case was dead, and in another committed suicide I was about as detached as if I was just told something about a complete stranger. When my sister was told we were moving from California to Texas she was always crying or upset with my parents, with the exception of being further away from Jessica, I didn't mind at all. Even though I was leaving the job I had had for over three years and all the people I knew there.
3: My name on Gamespot was because one of my friends was a big Lord of the Ring fan and was using Aragorn, he wanted me to be Legolas when we got Xbox Live. I also loved Lord of the Rings and always preferred elves to other races, and weapons like bows or sniper rifles so I had no problem with the name. The other half of my Gamespot name was from Kyle Katarn, the main character from the Jedi Knight series, I was playing Jedi Outcast at the time on the PC and really loved the game, also Legolas was taken on this site. I was still a few months away from the time that I got Live so I added Katarn instead of 43.
4: I love co-op games, I think that started when I was around 4-5 and I always had my friend and another kid coming over to my house to play Mario and Mario 3, and later TMNT Turtles in Time. The one kid came over just about every day for months.
5: I HATE cars and bikes, etc. I have always hated them. I don't like hearing people talk about them, I can't stand watching car chases in movies, I don't even like watching people fighting on cars like in the second Matrix movie or a scene like the one from Live Free or Die Hard, no matter what happens, if there is a vehicle involved, I am bored. I hate driving and couldn't care less about what I am driving, I just want it to run. I also hate robots, so guess how much I like the Transformers.
6: When I was really young I would always watch the Power Rangers and TMNT, when I was around seven I started watching pretty much all science fiction series. As the years went on my favorite shows would include Babylon 5 (love G'Kar), Stargater SG1, Farscape, and Firefly. I also enjoyed watching the old Star Trek. Oddly I never liked Science fiction, I always loved Fantasy. I really dislike space ships, futuristic weapons, and computers, still all my favorite shows rely on those things heavily. Why couldn't there have been a great Dungeons and Dragons series?!
7: In movies (and any RPG game) I almost always prefer talking to action. What they say doesn't even have to important to the plot. I like hearing just random conversations that tells you more about the characters. For example the beginning of Reservoir Dogs when they talk about tipping the waitress. It's probably why Babylon 5 is my favorite show, because it has great random dialogue. I remember in the first series when they are trying to pass the time so they start talking about if they fasten then zip up their pants or if they zip then fasten. Or in the last season when one of the main characters was explaining why he always washes his own socks (he was the commander of the station, then the president, he didn't need to do his own laundry).
8: I seem to hurt myself a lot. I always run into things, hit my head on things, hit my toes on things, or cut myself. I never mind when I do so I make no effort to avoid doing it later. While working at the paintball field I never minded being hit by paintballs. Most people would act hurt or start complaining after being shot once or twice, I was always able to ignore it I never got mad at people for shooting me accidentally, if I was talking to someone and started getting shot I would just keep talking to the person, usually to their amazement....pansies. The worst I was shot was when I was playing a game where you go until you give up, when I got home I was able to count about 80 hits from looking at my body, I only left because I was out of ammo.
9: I usually lose interest in things quickly (in about 1-3 months), Gamespot and video games have been two of the few exceptions. 1-3 months is about the time it takes for me to leave websites or to stop doing things I once thought that I enjoyed. Bringing up my last job again I got it because I enjoyed playing Paintball at the time, a month or two after getting it and I never wanted to play again, it was boring to me. I never did get any adrenaline from it like most people seem to, I was always calm and relaxed (though tired from my horrible stamina), I was never really getting into the game or getting mad at other people like most others were. That is probably why I always hated sports. As boring as watching people play paintball is to me, I will admit that it is more exciting than stocking grocery shelfs at Wal-Mart. If only because I am able to walk around the field.
10: Everything that can go wrong will. I pretty much find that to be true in just about everything I do. I buy a computer, I need a video card, ok. No, I need a power supply, ok that was a bad power supply, take it back, order another. Get that, sent me the wrong one. Computer won't instal games...**** you computer, do some stuff I find online it works...when it feels like it. Old monitor stops working, have to switch to new one. Internet doesn't want to work, need a new wireless reciever.
Live in California for 18 years, get a girlfriend, time to move to Texas.
Get a job at a paintball field, start to hate paintball and to get ******** coming to the field. Get a job at Wal-Mart, we all get our hours cut after being told that we almost always work a little overtime since everyone else has been there. The day time manager that everyone at night hates to switch to nights after the other guy is fired for sleeping in his car every day. All of us are now forced to take an hour lunch after, so I'm there for an extra half hour.
Maybe I just have horrible timing

PC
I bought an Nvidia GeForce 9800 GX Graphics card at Best Buy for $140. That worked fine for a week and then my games started freezing, I forgot that with a Dell computer I would need a new Power Supply. I found a store yesterday and bought one for $100, hooked it up, and it isn't working. I'm going to take it and my computer back to where I bought it in a few hours to see if something is wrong with it or if it was not hooked up correctly.
I also bought a headset for my PC for $18. It's not USB but it seems to work fine. When I have it plugged in some sites play the voice through speakers, some through the headset, some games play the sound through the speakers and voice through the headset (LOTR Online), some play both through the headset (Warhammer)
Games Bought

Lord of the Rings Online Mines of Moria Collectors Edition: $27
One of my friends has been wanting me to play this and now I can, the special edition has the first game as well as the expansion. I have been playing the trial for about eight days, game was freezing for the last two and enjoyed the game. I'm an Elf Hunter and I think I am level 25. I'm still waiting for the game to arrive so I can continue playing.Playing this should keep me busy until the KOTOR MMO comes out, I've been trying to sign up for beta but it won't work.

Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2: $40
I had been wanting this and The Witcher for the PC, both were being sold for the same price so I picked this one up so I could make sure my PC and headset were working right online. I'm enjoyng the single player, I have not tried online though, LOTR is keeping me busy. And it has achievements for my Live profile

Halo: ODST: $60
I get to kill things as Nathan Fillion, that is cool. He says, "Bam says the lady" while killing things is even better.
The story for the game isn't that great, a lot of the dialouge is overacted or just stupid (one forum poster put it something like this, "If my teacher walked into the room with a pop quiz and said, "You know the music, time to dance", I'd shoot myself in the face),and the new health system (especially making the screen turn red) is very annoying. Moving around the city as the rookie gets kind of boring and this game, like the last two, has continued the trend of making allied marines dumber and dumber with each passing entry. The thing I loved about the first Halo was working with large groups of other Marines, being able to easily keep them alive on easy and normal, and usually finishing a level with about half on heroic (they would all die on Legendary right away, but then again, so would I). I loved fighting with them, the things they said, and making sure as many survived as I could. Halo 2 had very boring allies and they were not as good as the last game, also I think you usually only had two with you, you could keep them alive by giving them better weapons though. Halo 3 had boring useless idiots that would all get slaughtered. In ODST (at least on Heroic up) they might die so fast you won't even know they are there, unless you are with another ODST squad memeber that is not able to die. While fighting with another ODST you really can see just how stupid the AI has gotten, they will often just run forward ignoring all enemies and getting shot in the back. Also, damn is the woman with you ugly, Nathan deserves better. For whatever reason Bungie decided to have a system that resets the entire game if you are to go back and replay a completed level, if you do that and try to go back to your last game you will find that, while you still have the same guns and audio logs, you will need to get to every becon and replay every level to get back to where you were.
Firefight mode is fun but, like Halo 2 on, continues the other Bungie trend of taking things that are great and doing stupid **** to them. When I first heard about the skulls I thought it was a good idea, I assumed that one skull would be randomly turned on at each wave and that you would have the option to turn them off if you wanted. Nope, instead the skulls are turned on in the same order every time and you can not shut them off. Why the **** is the skull that makes enemies throw tons of grenades at you on at the second round every time?! Then when I get to the third round and I think it will turn off, nope, they leave it on and turn on two more, one of those being the melee an enemy for health skull. It is very annoying having to melee for health when all three types of covenent grenades can stick to you and instantly kill you, and because of the stupid health system your vision is always red, even if you can't even tell that any of the life from your bar is missing. It is also a shame that, like the ability to make custom games, you can only play with friends. No one can start a room and have people join them. Having only friends join and matchmaking sucks Bungie, remember the good old days of finding hosts and servers that you liked to play fun custom games (not whatever swat/rockets only bull you idiots can come up with).
I still hate Halo 3s multiplayer but getting all the maps on a disk allows me to delete all the extra maps from my 20GB harddrive, giving me some much needed space, and having the last map mack allowed me to get all1750 achievements in Halo 3.
I really don't understand Bungie since the first Halo. It's like everything they do that they do really well, then it isalmost likethey hire a few people whos job itis just to **** things up to put on the finishing touches.
Movies
I found a store that sells old games, new games, and movies right next to the place where I bought my new power supply. I got

Red vs Blue Season 5: $9
Red vs Blue Season 4: $9
Good deals for both, boxes and disks in great condition. They usually seem to sell used online for at least $15. They also had seasons 1, 2, and 3, I already own 3, I would have bought one and two if not for having to buy the damn power supply.
Gift Card
I got another $25 Gamestop gift card from the website utalkback.com. That's my second one, only about three months after the last.
Review
A little over a week ago DoulasBuffone asked me to write a review for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for his site, Entertainium. He told me the review should be put up after Saturday sometime, so I will post a blog when it is up. Doug recently posted a blog looking for more writers for his site, check outhis blog for details.
Edit
I love when people randomly start arguments with me
Got my power supply working. Plugged something into the wrong...thing.

I rented Wet for the 360 with my free rental this month.

My birthday was on the 9th and my Dad said he would help me pay for a computer. I ended up getting one a few days ago. I got a Dell from Sam's Club, which we had joined the day before, for $700, my Dad paid for $200 and the $56 tax. It has
Windows Vista
Intel Pentium 2.7 GHz Dual Core Processor E5400
6 GB Ram
500 GB Harddrive
DVDRW Drive
Lousy graphics card that I should be upgrading in a few days, I'm thinking about an Nvidia GeForce GTX 250, looks like it is about $130, maybe something better but I don't know about overheating
23 Widescreen Flat Monitor (shame I had to get it, I already have one, but I guess that was my Dad's and he can use it now)
Speakers (really needed new ones), Mouse, KeyboardSome games I'm hoping it will be able to run well
Dragons Age Origins (rather have it on PC than console but if it won't work well on the PC I can always get the 360 version)
Operation Flashpoint 2
Knights of the Old Republic MMO
Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2My friend also wants me to get the Lord of the Rings Online, which I will at least download the trial for. Something to play until KotOR.
Emblem

For submitting a complete bracket for the heroes match, very nice.
Game

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Bought this game on the 15th and got my preorder code to download Juggernaut the same day. It improved on the first in most ways. Powers having added bonuses when improved enough is great, passive powers, unique written dialouge depending on your character, graphics, fusions, look of powers, especially projectile ones.
They also made some mistakes. Having mostly the same passive powers, some character being unlocked very late, characters with weapons (Gambit's staff, Deadpools swords, Daredevil's baton, etc) now use them for their main attacks, only able to import save data if you put the game on the harddest mode (meaning if you don't play the harddest mode you will almost never be able to use some of the characters), limitingfour of the passive powers to pro or anti (most characters get two, then two more if they are on anti, or two more if they are on Pro, DLC characters have them all available the others likely will with import save data, the problem with that is that I went anti, when I was able to use Songbird, Iron Man, and Mr Fantastic again they were missing four of their six powers because they are locked on Pro and I would have needed to choose Pro to get those powers. The same could be said for Anti with Captain America, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.
I'm on or near the last mission in the game and have enjoyed using all of the characters I have played as, except for The Thing and Hulk, I have not tried Songbird, Venom, or Goblin yet and I don't have the last Secret Character. For most of the game I have been using Gambit, who has a great selection of powers, fights with his staff, and has the only unique passive power I have seen in the game so far(the ability to charge anything he picks up with energy making it explode and do more damage when it hits), Deadpool, fights with swords, love his duel shot ability, funny dialoge, regenerates health so he always lives the longest. The other two characters I have been swapping out but I usually use Iron Fist who has some cool looking and fast attack and can heal the party and Jean who I don't like that much but can do all three types of fusions with the other characters. I've also really liked playing as Storm and Captain America. Because I was anti I haven't really had a chance to use Iron Man, Mr Fantastic, or Songbird. I have just unlocked Venom and Goblin and don't have the secret character.

I bought three movies at Wal-Mart
A double feature that has Navy Seals (never saw it but I am watching it now, it's pretty stupid so far) and Red Dawn (wanted it) for $5. I also bought a four pack of movies with The Curse of King Tuts Tomb, Blackbeard, The Poseidon Adventure, and Merlin's Apprentice for $5, I never saw any of them but I liked the first Merlin, though I doubt this will be anywhere near as good. Yesterday I bought the new Bleach movie that had just come out that day for $20, I wanted season 3 but they have been out and don't know when they will get more.
One of the pawn shops I go to sells movies for 3 for $10 but they also have had a 10 for $20deal for awhile so I bought
Rocky: I never saw it
Hot Shots 1 and 2 (Double Feature): Really like them both, I hadn't watched the first one in awhile but I just watched it last night, I like it more than the second. I already owned the second one by itself so I am going to send it to Jessica.
Good Will Hunting: Never saw it except for a few clips online
The Fountain: Never saw it but remember trailers
The Pianist: Never saw it but I saw it won some academy awards so I thought it should be pretty good
Rescue Dawn: I usually like Christian Bale so I got it, from its rotten tomatoes rating it likes I made a very good choice
A Few Good Men and Jerry Maguire (Double Feature): Never saw either
Dogma: Really like it
The Replacement Killers: Never saw it
Valentine: Crappy horror movie most likely
There were movies I would have gotten instead of The Fountain and Valentine but all were pretty scratched up, the ones I got are all in good condition. After leaving I realized I should have just bought the third season of Red vs Blue instead of Valentime, it is the only season that I already own but I guess I could have sold it for around $10 online.
XBLA Games Bought
Marvel vs Capcom 2
I haven't played it that much yet but I like what I have played, horrible soundtrack.
The Secret of Monkey Island SE
As great as I remember, the first adventure game I ever played.
Penny Arcade Episode 2
I don't have the first but this was on sale so I got it. I have only made a character so far.

Prototype
For a game where your guy can steal weapons, helicopters, tanks, can shapeshift his body into different weapons, and can consume and become other people this game sure is BORING! There are only two types of battles I found myself in in this game, ones where I was going to kill everyone with no effort and ones where I was going to die over and over and over again until I get lucky. The combat is boring, it never feels fair when you die because all military starts shooting homing missles and all fights with infected/boss battles are stupid and boring. Thereis nothing interesting abut the city and the only thing that changes over time is there are more infected people, military basses, and infected base buildings. None of your powers or combat moves are fun to use, not only because it just isn't fun killing things but because they are just so boring. The story isn't interesting and although consuming people to get information is an interesting way to tell parts of the story it makes for a boring added gameplay element, and most of what you learn is useless. Even if I were to consume all targets I don't want to rewatch every single scene in its poor interface to make sense of some of it. The main story is nothing interesting and some parts of it, like what happens to your sister, are never even told.

I missed my six year at this site. I always forget and remember it next month.
Vote
Bracket/Winning
Raziel vs Donkey Kong: DK/DK (I never played the Soul Reaver games, I only played the Snes DK games and I loved those. My hating DK and monkies made me vote for Raziel)
Ico vs Banjo: Banjo/Banjo (I never played Ico but I loved the first Banjo game and its characters)
Jim vs Link: Link/Link (No contest)
Fox vs Jak: Jak/Fox (I thought Jak would win with his recent games and no great SF game since the N64, I should have remembered Brawl. I voted Fox, I never played any of the Jak games)
Duke vs Marcus: Marcus/Duke (I can't believe Duke got so many votes. I chose Duke because, while he might not be a great hero, I don't think he rescued the babes for heroic reasons, he did star in one of the best 3D FPS games and two really good 2D games. He had great one liners and some of what he said in the second 2D game was pretty funny, like talking about his new book before being abducted at a talk show at the start. Marcus just sucks, not only is he not the best character in his game but he is the worst. Dom is an idiot but at least is looking for his wife so he has a reason to be there. Baird is the only decent character in the game. Cole might be a generic black guy written by an America but he is funny and kicks way more ass than Marcus. Carmine might be weak in the cutscenes but in the actual game he was always the best AI. Ben had a funny death. Marus even lets Kim die in the first game, I guess he forgot that his gun is not just a chainsaw while he was watching that. Both Marcus and Duke look stupid but Duke looks like a generic 90s hero, there is no excuse for Marcus)
Leon vs JC: Leon/Leon (While JC might be a great hero and he starred in what is likely the greatest FPS/RPG ever made I liked his brother more and you choose everything he says. Leon has starred in one of if not the best survival/horror games ever made and the best action/adventure game, I also liked him in the CGI movie and if the new RE DC game turns out good he will be in a really good on rails game)
Sack vs Bo: Sack/Sack (I don't care about Sack but I hate sports, sports games, and people that play in sports teams, especially footballso my vote goes to Sack.)
Ryu vs Nameless One: Ryu/Ryu (Vote goes to The Nameless One, I did vote for him in the top 10 vote, great hero and amazing game)
Dante vs Manny: Dante/Dante (I never played Grim Fan....howeveryou spell itbut from what I saw I would have liked it. I really liked Dante in DMC 4 (I never really played one and don't own two), I also liked Dante in the anime so I voted him)
Pac Man vs Kirby: Kirby/Pac Man (OH COME ON! Pac Man is not a hero. He goes around getting chased by Ghosts, eats balls, then chases the Ghosts and eats them. How is that heroic? You don't even know who is good or bad, those bals could be Ghost eggs that he is eating, child killer. Or they might all just be cannibals)
Mega Man vs Mike: Mega/Mega (No contest)
Ratchet vs Gex: Ratchet/Ratchet (I never played any of the Ratchet games and only the Gex on the 64, Gex didn't seem that interesting)
Samus vs Jade: Samus/Samus (I loved Super Metroid, hated the first game, and the ones on the GBA. I never played.....whatever game Jade is in, I forgot the name. Samus is also one of my favorite Brawl characters)
Garrett vs Frogger: Garrett/Frogger (I hate public votes. Damn kids never played Thief and damn middle aged people are out of their minds)
Sonic vs Ryo: Sonic/Sonic (Ryo never even got to finish his adventure, no Shenmue 3)
Master Chief vs Bub and Bop: MC/MC (No contest, and I don't even like him)
Looks like I am losing four but the voting is still early. There is still time for people, people that aren't insane to choose Garrett and Kirby. And I'm sure we haven't seen the last of the GoW fanboys voting for Marcus.
Edit: MC is losing to BaB, that is stupid, and I, with the exception of the first game, don't really even like Halo or MC. Garrett is still losing to Frogger, idiots, with about the same percentage but with much more votes. Kirby is just barely beating Pac Man. Jim has over 30% of the vote when compared to Link, also surprising given how long Link has been around and the variety of games he has been in.

In my bracket/Is winning
Mario vs Bonk: Mario/Mario (and Luigi Mario)
The Prince vs Nights: Prince/Prince
Kyle Katarn vs Dig Dug: Kyle Katarn/Kyle Katarn
Lara Croft vs Parappa: Lara Croft/Lara Croft
Coud vs Lester: Cloud/Cloud (I want Lester to win, Out of This World was a great game that I played a lot of as a kid, but I knew he didn't have a chance, I voted for him though)Wright vs Little Mac: Wright/Little Mac (I would have had LM for my bracket but I had no idea who he was when I made it amd forgot to check, I still want Wright to win....I really don't see how being a boxer, football player, Kratos, Niko, Dig Dug, Frogger, Pikachu, or pac man makes you a hero, a cIassic game character but not a hero, especially Pikachu who does nothing heroic in the games and isn't even the same one as the anime)
Pikachu vs Nathan Drake: Nathan Drake/Pikachu (I thought Drake would win with the new game coming out and the popularity of the first and Pikachu getting older and even though tons of people played the game Pikachu was not likely to be a favorite for most people, especially with Pokemon Red and Blue coming out before Yellow, guess I was wrong. I voted for Nathan, I liked him, and I always prefered Charmander to Pikachu. I don't even know what we are voting for with this. It can't be the anime Pikachu since this is for games, even though that is the only heroic Pikachu. Is it the one we get in Yellow? Is it the one we find in other versions? Is it whatever version we use? Since all Pikachus are called Pikachu are we voting for all Pikachus in the Pokemon world? I don't get it and there is no way Pikachu should be considered a hero, you don't even have to use him in the games, not even in Yellow after you get your first capture. Pikachu really should have been replaced with the Pokemon Trainer character)
Sam Fisher vs Kratos: Kratos/Kratos (I hate Kratos, voted for Sam)
Guybrush vs Wander: Guybrush/Wander (I thought with the number of people that played SotC to any game in the Monkeys Island series that Guybrush was very likely to win, especially with him in some of the greatest adventure games of all time, in comparison to Wander's one. I remember playing and loving the first Monkeys Island when I was a kid. Two new games just came out in the MI series even. Guess I was wrong though. I want Guybrush to win)
Ryu vs Abe: Ryu/Ryu
Niko vs The Apprentice: The Aprentice/Niko (Niko sucks!)
Strider vs Cate: Strider/Strider (I never played either series, but I heard great things about the In Harms Way games, but I didn't think she would win, especially with Stirder in recent games like TvsC)
Liu Kang vs Yoshi: Yoshi/Yoshi (I hate Mortal Kombat and Yoshi is so cute)
Gordan vs Bomberman: Gordan/Gordan
Alucard vs Travis: Travis/Alucard (Damn, I thought all the Wii fans would make Travis win and with all the people saying how great Shadow Complex is I thought for sure that no one played or remember SotN. Of course, Travis doesn't deserve to win and I voted for Alucard)
Snake vs Crash: Snake/Snake
So I am losing five and winning 11, I can't believe I forgot who Little Mac was. I expect to do better in the second part of this round. Although I have no idea how Kirby/Pacman (I of course went with Kirby), Marcus/Leon (Marcus also sucks),or Jak/Fox (I took Jak due to that series still going strong and not having a great SF game since the N64). will go. All of my losing characters I had losing the next round, and I still expect the character that is beating them to lose in the next round, with the exception of Nathan Drake who I had winning one more time. The last time I checked Guybrush, Nathan, and The Apprentice still had a chance to win. Not likely for the other two.
Why does Wander have such a terrible picture? The other character seem to have a picture that they would have on their games boxart, manual, or a fan made drawing. Wander looks like he has some far off, in game low res screenshot.

Batman Arkham Asylum Collectors Edition
I bought the game yesterday and have been really enjoying it. As much as I enjoyed Batman Returns and Batman and Robin for the Snes, this is the first Batman game where you actually feel like Batman and where you get an interesting story and setting. I'm up to the part where I am trying to find Killer Croc. As much as I hate puzzles I have been having fun trying to find the answers to The Riddler's questions (240 of them total I think), the riddlesmixed with the games detective moments and vision mode make this the first Batman game that shows off what makes Batman Batman, as well as having fun and fast combat. Finding recordings of inmate interviews, answers to The Riddler, and information files on many characters in the Batman universe, make this one of the few games where I want to explore.
It doesn't look like some popular characters like Two Face and The Iceman will be in the game but you are able to find their cells, as well as the cells of other Batman villains. So far the characters they do have seem to add a lot to the game. The Joker and Harley tauting you the whole way, Poison Ivy changing up the environment, The Scarecrow has had some great moments that show off the atmosphere in the game, and while The Riddler doesn't make an appearence he talks to you about his riddles and makes comments when you solve them. I still haven't found all of the characters yet but so far the only one that wasn't that interesting was Bane, who was really only there for an important story element and a quick boss battle, even though he himself really didn't do anything but say a line or two.
Great game so far, I haven't played any of the challenge maps yet.
I just reached level 58 and I am now Death=Adder, I also recently passed 11,000 posts.

The only game I have been playing lately, with the exception of Halo Wars or Resident Evil 5 with Doug, has been Magic DotP. I've been trying to get the last achievement for getting all the cards, I only have 29 more wins and the game will be 200/200. After about 35 wins today I decided to take a break and play what was in my 360, Call of Duty 4. I played through some single player levels and it reminded me of how awesome the cheats were. Playing in black and white, in negative, or sped up ragtime mode is always fun. What I really always loved was playing with slow motion enable, slow motion makes the melee button toggle on and off the mode instead of meleeing. Not only is this mode a lot of fun but it lets you appreciate some of the detail in the game. I really hope Modern Warfare 2 keeps these cheats in the game.
I played the demo of Shadow Complex today after Doug told me that he liked it, and after seeing half of my 20 online friends playing it. I was surprised at how much I liked it, I really paid no attention to this game after the E3 showing. I remember watching the E3 video and thinking that the map looks like a Metroid game and then thinking that I hope Epic can make a game with no bugs or glitches this time. Shortly after thinking that the character froze in midair after a boss fight and they quickly shut the demo down and left. I really enjoyed playing it though and will have to add it to my list of XBLA wants, along with Marvel vs Capcom 2 and The Secret of Monkey Island.
I got a new emblem today for watching and commenting on the new Today On the Spot.

What a cute....cheese cracker....sea creature....ummm ear wax monster thing.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the new show and will be looking forward to the new one on Saturday. I should be getting another emblem soon from the greatest heroes votes.
Since I moved out to Texas last monthI haven't had a job, and with so many great releases coming having only enough money to buy Batman AA will not do. I got a full time job, being an overnight grocer at a super Wal-Mart. Texas pays less then California but because I work nights I get an extra $1 an hour, so I get about $8.30 to start with. I plan to work full time until at least next semester, so I can see what schools are out here. Orientation is Saturday from 8AM to 5PM. Working overnight should be great, more money, less people, and it gives me something to do since I've pretty much been up from 1PM to 7AM every day since I've moved here.
Nice to get a job after only three weeks of looking, so far I had only applied to Hollywood Video (lot of spelling errors on their online application), United, and Albertsons (lot of stupid questions on their application, like what kind of food I would like to be). Someone was actually just hired a week before I applied at all of those places. Wal-Mart hired me and another guy just in the time I was there for my interview. There are three Gamestops here I would have applied at but the guys told me none of them were hiring until around October where they get people for the holidays and to wait until then.

I was watching videos from the Angry Video Game Nerd, Nostalgia Critic, and Nostalgia Chick a few days ago, seeing the Nostalgia Chicks review of Spice World made want to watch Meatloaf's I'd do Anything for Love music video. I went to search for it on youtube and found the Literal Video version for the song, as well as one for Total Eclipse of the Heart while I was looking for other Literal videos. Check them out for a laugh
Total Eclipse of the Heart(it was funny enough already)
I think one of the reasons why I like the Nostalgia Chick's reviews so much is because, unlike the Nostalgia Critic, I've actually seen a lot of the movies she has reviewed. Out of the 11 movies she has reviewed I have seen Pocahontas, Teen Witch, Spice World, Anastasia, Hocus Pocus, Transformers (80s one), and Labyrnith. All of those movies were just on TV and except for Hocus Pocus, which I thoughtwas ok, the rest I just watch because they were so bad I just wanted to see how much worse they could get, worse in all cases, much worse in Spice Worlds and Teen Witch's case.
The Nostalgia Critic has reviewed around 80 movies and I've seen maybe five of them.
Comic Con Gifts
HorseyJesse sent me some stuff from Comic Con. She sent me a patch they were giving out for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 that looks really cool and the code for the music video that the cast of The Guild did on the Xbox Live Marketplace. You can see Jessica's comic con blog on her profile.
Jessica: I hung up The Guild card with my posters
Playing
I've been playing Resident Evil 5 with one of my friends that just got the game and with DouglasBuffone. Go to his profile and check out his new website.

I rented Terminator Salvation today with my free rental of the month. Five hours of playing the game and an hour and a half of watching loading screens later I had the full 1,000 points. It wasn't horrible but I wouldn't play it again. I wanted to rent Prototype or Call of Juarez but they were out and the guy said they were always rented right away, maybe next month.

Terminator Salvation: Free
Damn load screens
I've also been adding all the games I have to a site called The Backloggery, it tells me how many games I own, beat, didn't beat, got full completion, rented, borrowed, or sold for each system. I finished adding all the games I own, except for a few PC games, I also added every game I have ever played on the 360, thanks to it's list, and a couple of my rentals. Not going to be easy to remember games I haverented since I was five. I'm at 529 games total, 128 that I have borrowed or rented and 12 that I have sold, I own the rest. 63 Unfinished, 413 beaten, and 50 completed.
Free Cards
For buying the Magic The Gathering game on the XBLA I was sent a free rare foil card. I also was able to bring something that came with it to a card shop near me to get two free 30 card decks. If only more games came with free stuff.

My computer hasn't been able to start for the last week at least, I'm on my Dad's now. This computer freezes and resets itself all the time for some reason unless you get one of the rare times that it will work for awhile. It finally seems to be working today.
DVDs
I went to about six pawn shops to see what they had. I didn't buy anything until the last one. The movies were three for $10 or $5 each, and my sister and mom were going to buy two and couldn't find anything else so I gave my mom $3 and got
Casino Royale
I wasn't going to buy anything else but I saw a few movies away from the others that had just been brought in, they had Tropic Thunder, I know my sister wanted it so I got that with two more movies.
Tropic Thunder
I thought it was ok. Robert Downey Jr and Tom Cruise were great.
Stargate The Ark of Truth
A lot of Stargate. I now have Stargate Atlantis seasons 1 and 2, Stargate Seasons 1, 2, 6, 7, and 10, and this moive. I am halfway there, only two more seasons of Atlantis, five more of SG1, and the third movie (don't really care about the first movie).
Tombstone
Another great western to add to the collection. That makes at least six now.
Comics
The New Avengers (Issues 26-31) Revolution

Secret Invasion (Issues 1-8 )
My Dad got them for me when we were looking at a comic book store we found. I was looking for anything on the Civil War or Marvel Zombies but the olny Civil War book he had was the main story that I already had and he had sold his last Marvel Zombies book earlier that day. So I got one of the other series that interested me (that I could remember) and got the eight main issues of the Secret War. I got the Avengers book because I knew that it would kind of tie into the Civil War, I had no idea that the Secret War starts right after that last issue of The New Avengers. Lucky. Still need to read the Secret Invasion.

I guess I can't get internet in the room where my computer, Wii, PS3, and 360 is without paying $40 a month, so I have to use wireless, the wireless router is downstairs. The Wii and PS3 have built in wireless and we had something for my PC to get it wireless, for the 360 I had to buy Microsofts Wireless Adapter. $100 new but I bought it on Ebay for $67. I don't know how well it will work, the PC is almost always at low signal strength, sometimes good, and disconnects for about a minute at least twice a day, download speed seems to be slower. The Wii works but I don't play online games with it. For the PS3 when I first changed it to wireless it said it had around 22% signal strength, downloads speeds seemed to be the same as I remember and I downloaded the Battlefield 1943 demo to try online (I only own Valkyria Chronicles and Infamous for the PS3), it worked fine (and I kicked ass going 12 and 2 my first game, Japanese scout has a sniper, pistol, and katana, all I want in video games). Later my dad moved the wireless so it would be a little closer and the PS3 had over 50% signal strength. It hasn't disconnected on me and seems to work fine.
I don't know how well the 360 will work, reading things online about it people seem to have some problems with it keeping them connected. Same people were saying it wasn't as good a reciever as what was in the Wii or PS3, which is funny since it costs almost half of what a Wii does. If it doesn't work the Ebay seller said it can be returned in 14 days, or if it doesn't work well I can just keep it until I get a better option and sell it later. It should have been shipped today so I should be back online soon, as long as it works.
Movies
I guess my Mom and sister were going to give away or throw out my Dad's movies, and they said he doesn't care so I guess I gained some movies. I now have
Once Upon a Time in the West Collectors Edition: GREAT
Unforgiven: Great
Pit Fighter: Crap
Tomb Raider: Crap
Trade: Didn't watch yet, probably crap
The Postman:Start off ok, then gets really stupid, then....what the hell
Independence Day: Crap
The Chronicles of Riddick: Eh
Hunted: Some stupid people get killed, otherwise not that good
Revolver: Stars Jason Statham so it is almost certainly crap, I've seen it before but remember nothing about it
The Final Cut: Crap
Commando: Decent until the generic action movie ending starts where he just walks around shooting everyone
Shadow Warriors: Stars Hulk Hogan.....hmmmm....CRAP
Man on Fire: Decent
Traffic: Pretty good
The Jackal: I like Bruce Willis when he is just going around killing things and him killing Jack Black is awsome. It's ok, not good not bad.
The Godson: Some parts were funny, not very good thoughSo I pretty much got two of the best westerns ever and a lot of crap. My dad always liked western movies and books, so at least he has good taste in that area. Added to my other westerns Silverado, The Quick and the Dead, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, and 3-10 to Yuma.
Next blog I think I will post some pictures of the drive to Texas, we didn't take that many pictures though.
