Welcome to my profile. I've been playing video games since I was three, pretty much nonstop, even though I rarely find a game that I really enjoy. I usually only enjoy playing co-op in games or playing games with a good story. I've never found anything else that interests me so that will have to do for now....and for the last 14 years.

Games that I currently have preordered.

Considering Preordering

No longer broke

Well I was hoping to be able to pick up some stuff for the Wii last week or yesterday, unfortunately I haven't been able to get some stuff I am selling at work sold yet. I paid my mom the $140 I owed her and have about $20 left, that is enough for a used Gamecube controller and memory card so I can at least play Rouge Leader and Metroid Prime on the Wii. Next week when I get paid I should be able to pick up a classic controller and Fire Emblem 9. If I am able to sell my stuff (which should happen by months end at the latest) I'll have an extra $200 to spend.

I got GTA 4, but who cares about that

More importantly

Lucas came back....again.

I also finally bought a Wii. But I didn't have enough for the Wii after buying the Special Edition GTA 4 so I owe my mom money. I only have Wii Sports and two Gamecube games (Metroid and Rouge Leader) that I can not play because I don't have a Gamecube controller.

Great Way to Start the Day

I get out of bed to answer the phone. It is my friend calling. His 360 got red ringed and was supposed to be back today, which is great, the day before GTA 4. He calls me to tell me that he did get it back, and that they decided not to fix it. They left a note saying they won't fix a console that has been modded. Of course, it hasn't been. So he calls them to ask what has been modded. They said the software. He asked what that means, they said call back Monday. Reminds me of the time I sent my 360 in and when I asked what caused the problem they said it was something internal.

Get on my computer to see that JustPlainLucas is leaving. Again

Two new games

I picked up

Rondo of Swords, I got to the fourth mission and I like it so far.

Also bought

Review

I've been looking for it and I saw a used copy that was in very good condition and came with everything so I bought it for around $25. I have not tried it yet though.

Charlie Daniels damns Guitar Hero III's devilish climax (What? Also bought games

Source

Did I miss something? What's with all the comments saying he is over reacting getting voted down for.

"The song... is supposed to be a lighthearted novelty about a fiddling contest between a country boy and the devil"

The fiddle having been replaced by a guitar

"and the devil always loses," Daniels wrote. "That is not the case with the Guitar Hero version which comes complete with a horned, guitar-playing devil who battles the player and very often wins. I want any of you parents out there whose children have this game to know that I did not grant these people my permission to pervert my song and am disgusted with the result."

.....What? So he is upset because people can lose. So would he be happy if whenever you lose a virtual Charlie Daniels gets on stage, backhands the devil, and tells him that he doesn't get to win...EVER. What would he have liked the devil to look like, this?

"This game looks innocent enough but if you have a child who is playing it, take the time to sit with him or her while they're playing along and take a serious look at the images on the screen," Daniels wrote. "You may be surprised at the world they're being exposed to."

....Anyway

Some games I have wanted to buy for a long time are Fallout, Fallout 2, Planescape, Vampire: Bloodlines, and Diablo 2. I bought Diablo 2 over a month ago but still need the expansion. Vampire, my PC would most likely not run well. I finally bought Fallout, Fallout 2, as well as Fallout Tactics on half.com for $25. I was going to get Falllout and Fallout 2 a few years ago but my PC was never working right (my old PC that was worse than this one). When I got this PC I was saving up for a 360 and then buying games for that and my PS2 but lately I have been trying to get older games that I have wanted.
