What makes me mad + people on XboxLIVE + Borderlands AFTERTHOUGHTS
You know what makes me maddest about video gamers?! When me and my friends both have the same achievements on a game YET I figured out stuff on my own and played on a harder difficulty. ie. Half-life 2 for the Xbox 360. My friends could just play on EASY with CHEATS on AND have an online guide to finding ALL secrets while I take it the slow long way there. Then I think to myself, should a game be played any other way then the way it was supposed to be? HARD, CHALLENGING, DIFFICULT. Remember the days when we would spend hours trying to beat the Water Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time? What happened to those days?
Now people use the cloning glitch in Oblivion and use mods for shooting fast in Modern Warfare. A game is supposed to be hard. It's what makes it a game. We aren't supposed to beat games in one to two days. (enless you get obsessed) Regardless of if you do, it's better to play it on atleast NORMAL mode. As i've come to realise, when you play a game on HARD mode, you feel very accomplished afterwards. WHY? Because to overcame a challenge. And in doing so, you become better. And if you become BETTER, than you are COOL. lol. Get what i'm saying? I just wish people would play fair.
Speaking of that, ONLINE people over XboxLIVE. Yes, I know you're mad I killed you, but why scream at me and cuss me out the entire rest of the match? Do you have anything better to do? NO, I didn't cheat, I just OWNED you, is that so hard to understand? Oh, and you what else, sore winners.. "I WON! HAHAHAH! You s**k you mother f***ers! That's right I can beat you in a video game because my life is crap!" SERIOUSLY... it's just a game, whether you lose or win, just enjoy it.
Now, on to BORDERLANDS. It is incredible! If you have ever played Fallout 3 or any type of massive multiplayer online game like, WoW or Guild Wars you know how addicting games can get. Borderlands is like a shooter/RPG/sandbox type of game. There is 100+ hours of gameplay with miniquests and the mainquest. Half way through you will NOT want to quit. There is over 100+ guns to choose from, awesome RPG elements like: Growing levels, each level comes with a choice to pick different atributes that apply to your character that you chose. You can approve your characters health, shield recharge, your special move (differs for each type), and plenty of other cool perks that change the whole gameplay of the game. PLAY THIS GAME WITH FRIENDS! If you are playing by yourself you will DIE.. alot.
At the start anyway. I'm doing pretty good on my own right now as a level 23..i think.. maybe 24. But i'm telling you, as a Biowareand Bethesda lover, this game is so much fun.. The combat doesn't even get boring after 7 hours of constant play. lol. I sound really obsessed. I completely recommend the game to RPG lovers and just plain shooter lovers too. The game is HUGE and there are TONS of things to do. The only flaws would have to be.. you gotta read everything. Not that that is SO bad but you know, it's nice to have some voice acting in there. Another thing is that if you play solo you will probobly die alot and it won't be any fun.
TO SUM IT ALL UP. GO RENT BORDERLANDS!
Thanks for reading,
