  Finally......another entertainment purchase.

  Finally. I've been wanting to purchase the Band of Brothers DVD set for some time. But I had birthday presents, various concert trips, and an Xbox360 that I spent money on first. Best Buy gave me $10.00 off for not having the Alpine speakers I ordered in the right store...so I had to purchase from two separate stores. Which I did. The coupon was set to expire.

  Band of Brothers was on sale and with Ten off it seemed the time to make the purchase. Long story short....they claimed the USPS couldn't deliver to my house. I don't know why not...the postal service never fails in delivering the bills to my house...so after much aggravation I ordered it from Amazon.com. At the price it listed I received free shipping and it arrived today which wasn't too long to wait. Yay!

  In other news....I'm trying to nail down plans to take the little one to DisneyWorld. That is expensive. But I promised.

  Ah 60K.....wow!

  I'd have never thought I'd have spent the time required to accumulate so many posts on a message board. It's the only one that I regularly attend...which is good since I have much too many posts here. But the community has for the most kept me entertained. I have scaled back the time I spend here...but there are way too many users I like to talk with that it keeps me checking in. Plus I'm almost always listening to music on my computer...so why not.

  Those who oppose me in the "debate" threads...it's your fault I have so many posts. I....uh...like to argue apparently.

  The vets are slowly disappearing whether by choice or banning. Those that are still around...I hope you stay around.

  Anyway...this is more like my 60K thank you to those who have made this site interesting for me. While I've been here for years it wasn't until I stopped into OT that I had a place that could keep me coming back. So thank you to all of you that have talked with me over the years....whether in agreement or not. Thanks. I wouldn't have the posts without you.

  As a side note....I'm disappointed a few of you that thought that troll at GB was me. It takes more than this username and picture of Robert Smith to be LJS9502_basic.

  I did make an account there.....mostly to ruin his fun. I hadn't planned on it....but I did. I'm The_Real_LJ....accept no substitutes (I don't know that I'll be there with regularity). Same avatar....easy to spot I think.

  And a special thanks to megagene...the first OT poster I encountered. Dude is cool....

  Finally and Asundry Other Items.

  The price of the Xbox360 dropped to $299.99 so I picked one up today. For games I picked up Sonic for the kid and The Orange Box. Best Buy didn't have much of a selection of games to be honest. Now I have to get it up and running and find an assortment of games for it. Which is slow to happen. I still have games from last gen to pick up and play.

  In other news my three day weekend comes to a close. Heading in to work in the morning. Can't complain the weather was great. Friday was J's birthday and we saw Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D. Nothing spectacular but it was amiable enough to take the kidand spend an hour or two. Saw the trailer for Batman and that is definitely a must see. We also hit a small fair at the local church. Nothing great but kids like it and I went with a couple buds and their families.

  Saturday was the birthday party and that killed most of the day. But it's done for another year.

  Anyway, any 360 games you recommend is appreciated. I'm a bit behind in my game magazines and I mostly use Gamespot for OT.

  Only one more to collect.
