I more or less have 2009 planned out, but it would be nice to budget for 2010 since 90% of all games have been pushed back.

This is for me to help money management.

Batman Arkham Asylum - (360) Aug 25 (bought it, beat it, amazing)

    Scribblenauts(got it, love it)

Dragon Age Origins - (360/PC) Oct 20 (amazing)

    Assassin's Creed 2 - (360) - Nov 17 (love it)

    Smackdown 2010(fun)

    Borderlands(awesome)

    Forza 3 - (360) - Oct 27 (will last me a long time)

    Modern Warfare 2- (360) - Nov 10 (camping!)

Brutal Legend - (360) Oct 13 (got it, love it)

    Battlefield Bad Company 2(60)

    Splinter Cell Conviction(60+?)

    Bioshock 2(60)

    Mass Effect 2(60)

    Heavy Rain(maybe)(60)

    Halo Reach(60)

    Alpha Protocol - (360) ($60)

    Terminator 2 Special Edition
The Blair Witch Project (the reason I decided to buy any movies at all)

I'm going to miss the Microsoft Conference becuase I have to stay the entire day at school on June 1st, I'd miss the conference anyways had I not had study hall for that exam, and even tho I can drive, they aren't letting anyone from study hall leave. So I have to sit for 2 hours.

Plus I have finals June 1-4, and even tho I am exempt from all exams, I have to go to school for at least an hour and a half each day so they can take attendance.

Why did they have to have E3 so early this year.

Damn, tomorrow will be my 3-year anniversiary on Gamespot...I joined when I was 13 years old, I turn 17 in July.

I'm still a member of the first union I joined(WWE and All, which hasnt had activity in years lol)...I still remember signing up...this site spawned the LEGOslayer name that I use everywhere but live since the name was taken when I joined, I think the profile has been deleted now, but i have a list of names for live that outdo lego anyways.

    I'm a 360 gamer even tho I own all 3 consoles, my 360 collection outnumbers my PS3/Wii games(combined) 7-1.

Im amazed that ive stayed here and visited nearly every day for 3 years...I'll be the first to admit the site is nothing like it used to be...honestly had they not abandoned the unions, everyone would be more active here...

Well, I was going to make another blog of this to remind myself, but I might as well do it here...gonna make a list of games coming out this summer I plan to buy...

    Prototype
    inFamous
    Red Faction
    Batman
    Fuel
    Sims 3

well, heres hoping im not here for the 6 year anniversiary....

So I woke up at 6AM on a Saturday to go take the SAT test. 5 hours later I feel I did good on it. I get home and convince my mom to let me have the 360 back(she took it due to having a C in history) and RE5 comes via gamefly today. But I've yet to play it since I've been busy preparing for a trip to California I'm taking for Spring Break. I'm going to go visit possible schools(USC, Berkeley, and Irvine).

So ya, I'm gonna go play RE5 as long as I can...

bought Skate 2 off of Gamefly, so now they are sending me the box and stuff, I am addicted to that game and have 900GS points on it already. Speaking of gamerscore, I reached 20000 recently.

Then today, I went to buy Halo Wars(Limited edition bit***s and MLB 09 the show, but it took me 20 mins to get to the store cuz a 16 wheeler was flipped on its side at the major intersection to get there....but Halo Wars is awesum!

With the new Prince of Persia being the last game of nominal interest, and it being nothing more than a possible rent for me, I thought I might as well do my yearly Top 10 Games blog. Personally I thought that 2007 was the best year in gaming ina long time. With only a few early-year anouncements, and little fall promise, I though 08 would flop. That was in January. Now, as another December rolls around, I can safely say that 2008, if not outright beating it, at least matched 2007 in gaming awesomeness.

Keep in mind this is my opinion and mine only. I own all 3 consoles but, aside from console exclusives, all games on this list were played on my 360.

    Honorable Mention

Far Cry 2, Burnout Paradise, Pure, Mercenaries 2, Castle Crashers, Smackdown vs Raw 09.

    10

    Battlefield: Bad Company

    GameSpot Score 8.5/10

    9

    Little Big Planet

    GameSpot Score 9/10

     8

    Gears of War 2

    GameSpot Score: 9/10

    7

    Super Smash Bros. Brawl

    GameSpot Score: 9.5/10

    6

    Saints Row 2

    GameSpot Score: 8/10

    5

    Rainbow Six Vegas 2

    GameSpot Score: 8.5/10

    4

    Fallout 3

    GameSpot Score: 9/10

    3

    Fable 2

    GameSpot Score: 8.5/10

    2

    Left 4 Dead

    GameSpot Score: 8.5/10

LEGOSLAYER'S 2008 GAME OF THE YEAR

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

    GameSpot Score: 10/10

I'm rushed for time atm so I'll edit it later with reasons as to why I chose these games.

I posted in a topic on the GS boards, and thought, hey, that isnt a half bad review, so I changed a few words and finally wrote another one.

I don't care if you recomend or not(or even thumbs down) as long as you read an enjoy it first.

Allright, so I've paid off Fable, Fallout, and Gears with my birthday money(and now they are all coming out one week after another )

But now I can only afford one(maybe 2) more games in this epic autumm, and I don't know which ones to get.

With LBP and Left 4 Dead and Far Cry and so many other games coming out(and my co-op partner recently came across a ridiculous amount of money recently, so he's buying everything) I don't know which one to buy. So you guys can help recomend something to me.

I have all 3 consoles but I won't be getting a decent PC until christmas(no spore makes me cry) so just pic from those 3.

Today alone, GS has asked 2 of my questions(along with my name) for Resident Evil 5 and NBA 09. At RE5, they asked another question I posted word for word but said someone else asked about it. This is crazy awesome. Not gonna say which(because they said my last name), but if you are desperate enough, go watch the vids yourself.

BTW, this is the 2nd and 3rd time they've said my name, the said it at the Wii launch but that jerk Reggie came on stage right as they were gonna ask my question.

I only have the sony emblem. I spent hours on an unconfortable chair waiting for the other 2 conferences, and now, I'm not getting the one for the live stage show. Next year, I'm watching E3 on G4.

EDIT: they finally caved and gave me the stage show

Ok, first off, lemmee just get it outta my system. FINAL FANTASEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now we await Sony's big response, and if no response is given, then we can deem this E3 a failure before its already begone for the Playstation creators.

Second, Fable 2 online Co-op. Me and my friend(aka my co-op partner) have been waiting for this announcement. And it seems that it will be an easy, flawless system. I just hope I can find his "friend orb".

Third, whats with this new avatar crap? I don't want another set of Mii's to carry around. I see this as a cheap attempt to benefit on Nintendo's ideas. And I better be compensated for all that money spent on Gamerpics. Thats just ridiculous. I honestly hate the new layout as well. It just looks cheesy. I prefer it the way it is. But hey, it may grow on me.

Fourth, Banjo Nuts and Bolts can be added to my christmas list, very well done Rare. And Banjo 1(hopefully followed by 2) on XBLA made it for me. That was my favorite game growing up and to be able to relive it is awesome. I just hope they don't strip it like they did with Soulcalibur.

Finally, speaking of good demos, Fallout 3 and Gears 2. 1 word, Damn. If these aren't on your 360 gaming radar, they should be. Any doubts I had about the VATS targeting system have been lifted.

On a final note, GS better get their servers in line for the next few days. I don't want any doubts about my emblem getting, and while IGN is nice, its too cluttered for my tastes, so get it together GS.

Gamespot has been down for me until just now, so I watched the first half hour of the Msoft conference on IGN. This better not cost me my emblem. If it does, I might have to make IGN my new home for gaming, because their servers are reliable at least.

With E3 officially starting today, I've decided to cook up a list of the best games that I've played tat debuted this year, plus make a list of my most anticipated. By the way, neither of these lists are in any particular order.

5 Best Games So Far This Year

    Super Smash Bros Brawl

    Gamespot Score: 9.5

    Grand Theft Auto IV

    Gamespot Score: 10

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

    Gamespot Score: 10

    Battlefield:Bad Company

    Gamespot Score: 8.5

    Rainbow Six Vegas 2

    Gamespot Score: 8.5

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Now, for the upcomings.

5 Most Anticipated Games For This Year

    Fable II

    Fallout 3

    Gears of War 2

    Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

    Borderlands

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What? Borderlands? Yes, I think its gonna be a shocker title that goes under everyone's radar and gets shunned by reviewers because of it.

So, the big question. Will 2008 surpass 2007, the current mecca of gaming, after just one year. Honestly, I don't think so. 2007 shined in that it brought so many great original IPs(new games, like Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Bioshock) alongside a lot of big sequals(such as Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, And Super Mario Galaxy). 2008 however, looks to be more on sequals, with only a select few new IPs(Spore, Left 4 Dead, Endwar, and the ones listed above). Also, it seems that the 360 will once again be the big winner in exclusives with Fable II, and Gears 2. Seeing as MGS4 and Brawl are the only reedeemable games coming exclusivly for Sony and Nintendo's consoles(I refuse to consider Wii Fit a game). Luckily for Sony fans, 2009 seems promising, with all of the games people thought were coming out in 2008(Killzone, Little Big Planet) joining up with God of War 3, the 2 big Final Fantasy XIII games, and a new Red Faction game.

Well, 2008 seems to be a great year for gamers, and I can't wait to see what this year's E3 will let us know about 2009. Enjoy E3 everyone.
