    My September :)..............................Plus Survey :D

    Hey everyone .

    I know it's late , but I'm always worth the wait .

Ah well actually, outside of the holiday (see previous blog about that one ), I didn't do that much in September, but here's what I remember :

    Away from TV.com:

    - I had 2 more family birthdays . My Mum (I bought her an Il Divo album ), and my nephew (I bought him a Navajo (Descendants of Native American Indians, also used as code makers in WW2) made bow and arrow set, which technically I shouldn't have been able to bring home with me, as it is actually a working weapon ). I wasn't around on my nephew's birthday , but I did phone him up from America to say Happy birthday though .

    - I had to go to a ear specialist to get my hearing checked out . For the last 6 months, my hearing has been acting a bit weird. As far as I'm aware, I can still hear everything normally, but I've continuously had what feels like some sort of blockage which causes a similar effect on me to what happens when you take-off/start to land in a plane (sometimes referred to as ear popping). The specialists gave me various treatments to sort it out, but nothing seems to have made a difference, and in truth, they have no idea what's wrong either . All that they've been able to deduce is that my hearing is fine, except it plays up when I'm introduced to a certain sound frequency, but then straight afterwards, everything goes straight back to normal, but nobody seems to know what actually causes that sound frequency in my daily life . So basically, I've got to just live with it , and just have regular check-ups every couple of months, so as to see if anything changes. Please wish me luck that nothing bad happens to me .

    - I lost my mobile/cellphone . I lost it somewhere in Universal Studios, LA . Expect details on my brand new phone in my October blog .

Films I bought: The Covenant (2/5), Teen Wolf (2/5), Teen Wolf Too (2/5), Harold & Kumar Get the Munchies (aka: Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle) (3/5)

TV Shows I bought: South Park: Season 2, The Muppet Show: Season 3

Albums I bought: Only By the Night by Kings Of Leon

Games I Bought: Sega Superstar Tennis (DS), Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Wii) .

I also bought some DVDS in America that you can't get in the UK :

Films: Major League (4/5), Robin B Hood (New "Hong Kong" Jackie Chan film) (3/5), Tango & Cash (3/5).

TV Shows: I Love Lucy: Seasons 1 and 2, The Mary Tyler Moore Show: Seasons 1 to 4, Walker Texas Ranger: Season 2.

    On TV.com:

    - I went up another level . And I threw my first Level Celebratory Party .

    - I got 3 new friends

    And now, another quiz :.

    Thanks Anna .

But these are a couple of minor things that have happened : During my first (and only ) fighting competion, I got punched in the head, causing my top jaw to ram into my bottom jaw, and twisting one of my teeth into a 45 degree angle, which has remained that way for a decade. Partially cracking my head on the side of a swimming pool, after running and slipping over. Getting burn marks on my forearms after accidentilly touching a support tray when getting something out the oven. Getting multiple cuts and grazes on my hand after struggling to remove a jammed piece of paper from an industrial sized paper shredder. Bashing my ankle on the front bumper of a speeding car.

•25. What's your favourite TV show? Once again, the word they were looking for is "Shows" . Friends, Cheers, The A-Team, The Dukes Of Hazzard, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Happy Days .

    Holiday Blog :D

Here it is, just as promised .

The photos will be at the end .

I'm gonna keep the details fairly basic, because everyone should be aware of how I tend to go into a lot of detail on some of my comment responses .

The plane flight went well, and I arrived in about LA about 2pm (Pacific Standard Time). Once all the airport checks and everything were done, I got to the hotel by about 4pm. I went out for dinner (to a Sizzler if you were curious ) with some other people who were also doing the tour (only to find out there was actually 3 tours going on, and we were all gonna be in different groups ).

After a good sleep, we started off about 7:30am, where I met the rest of the group I would be travelling with. I wont bore you with names and life stories , but I'll just say that: there were 12 of us plus our trek leader, we were all aged between 20 and 34, there were 5 females and 7 males, and our group was quite international with people from (aswell as the UK); Wales, Northern Ireland, New Zealand, Austria, and The Republic Of Slovenia . We packed up the minibus in which we would travel around in for the next 14 days, covering a distance of roughly 2,500 miles!! . And a total of not 3, but 4 States . (California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona).

First stop - Los Angeles/Rodeo Drive (California). I gotta admit it was pretty disappointing . It was cool to see Mann's (sp) Chinese Theatre, The Kodak Theatre (where the Oscar's are held), The Beverly Hill's Wiltshire (Used in Pretty Woman), and The Viper Room (The club owned by Johnny Depp, and the location of River Phoenix's fatal overdose all those many years ago ), but in reality it was just 2 little streets, with not much to see except other tourists . The celebrity homes were so closed off from us, that there was no chance of seeing any of them .

Second stop - Big Sur (California). A costal area with lots of windy roads. The views were alright, but there was not much else to get overly excited about .

Third stop - San Francisco (California). OMG! Such an awesome place . I'm so gonna go back there one day. It's a really liberal place, and everyone seems so chilled out there, it has a wonderful culture to it . We walked across The Golden Gate Bridge, which was fun . We also went around Alcatraz, which was also pretty awesome . And I went on a tram too .

Fouth stop - Yosemite National Park (California). A really picturesque location full of massive trees and mountains. We actually climbed up one of the mountains, and ended up at the top of a Waterfall, which was also pretty cool . We didn't see any bears though , but we did see a Raccoon .

Fifth stop - Cheddar Gorge (Nevada). Nevada was pretty crazy, we drove past this town that had a population of just 13 people, and at one point we saw a tumbleweed blowing across a road . The campsite we stayed in had the most amazing view ever, we were surrounded by all these rust coloured mountains, if it hadn't been physically possibly to walk over to them, you would have thought they had just been painted on walls. We also heard Coyotes howling in the morning, which was also pretty crazy .

Sixth stop - Easton's Ranch (Utah). It was so cool going to a real life ranch. We stayed in this massive log cabin, and I went horse riding for the first time ever, which was also pretty awesome . We had a party there with some other trek groups aswell, but that was pretty lame .

Seventh stop - Grand Canyon (Arizona). OMG I had no idea how big it was . It's like over 15 miles wide, and over 250 miles long , and some of it's rock formations are over 3 billion years old . We decided to climb up and down a part of it. The route down it was fine, but going up was crazy . I don't have asthma, but breathing was really tough because of the heat and the altitude, goodness knows what it would've been like in the middle of Summer . but we all made it, so it was good .

Eighth stop - Las Vegas (Nevada). We stayed at a Hooter's hotel (for those who don't know, it's a place where all the waitresses are very attractive, and wear tight tops and hot pants as a uniform). It was so cheesy , but also so cheap! It was just over $40 for 2 nights . At night time we went on a Limo ride through the city , which was a bit lame , but ah, it's still fun to go in a limo for the first time . Another night I went in a helicopter flight around Vegas, which was pretty awesome . I also visited and placed bets (and lost my money ) in the following Casino's: The Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, The MGM Grand, and The Tropicana. I played Roulette (which was quite boring ), and Black Jack, which was fun, and I actually lasted pretty long at .

Ninth stop - San Diego (California). A pleasant beach town which had some nice harbours (with little boutiquey shops all around them). But the best part was going to my first ever baseball game . We saw the San Diego Padre's versus the Pittsburg Pirates . Unfortunately our team (San Diego) lost by 3 , but it was still fun to watch a game .

Tenth stop - Universal Studio's, LA (California) . Fun, but so weak when compared to the Florida park . The Mummy ride was so much shorter in LA. But it was fun to go on the new The Simpsons ride .

Final day - Back to the hotel, one last night out at a local tavern, and then a load of farewells the next morning . But then I perked up when my flight home got upgraded from Economy plus to Club class .

And now here's the photos . Unfortunately my camera ran out of juice after Yosemite, and I forgot my charger, but I still reckon I got a couple of decent photos .
