  FarCry 2 review

  Well I've chosen to review this game as well its got a lot of flaws I want to moan about and to hopefully stop you from buying it. Anyway lets dive straight into the problems.

  Problem 1
  Firstly there are 3 missions, well 3 types of missions but having to repeat them again doesn't make them new does it? You have blow up a truck that for some reason is driving in a constant circle. 2 kill some random guy for no reason. Or go blow up an enemy building. It's the same every time. And worst of all the main threat isn't these people but the bloody AI placements on the road to your target (I go onto that later).

  Problem 2
  malaria, how the hell do you get it after being in the country for 5 **** minutes? Seriously has this guy got no antibodies? And it really pisses me off that every so often you have to go out of your way to get malaria pills when you could be unlocking weapons or getting cash to buy them. Also in a battle when you screen goes yellow and you lose time to take the pills you could be getting shat at which isn't helpful. Also its very unrealistic I didn't know malaria made you see yellow sounds more like nectar (haze) poisoning, or that a few pills will immediately fix you up!

  Problem 3
  the AI, they'recrap they can see you behind a bush for some reason and even if you're working for them still try to kill you for no reason? Now to quote zero punctuation 'the reason for this is that you're on secret missions for them. But the real reason is programming intelligent AI is hard!' but seriously these organisations say they're trying to help the people yet they shoot you when you drive past even when you're not on a mission!! Its not like they know who you are so it sounds like they kill anyone anyway so yeah that doesn't add up.

  Problem 4
  the storyline it's rubbish you're a guy sent to kill a weapons dealer, I mean its not as if another will step in if you kill him will they? Lol anyway off you go and then when you go to kill him you faint he heels you as you wake up he goes to kill you but runs out of bullets so instead of using the machete he walks off... ok why? After that the plot just gets worse and it wasn't good to begin with, SIGH.

  Now onto what is actually good.

  Pro 1

  The graphics, they are brilliant I actually spent a long time just shooting and burning trees if you thing graphics is one of the most important things well this game could work for you, then again there are better graphics out there such as crysis or if you only want graphics go get a blu ray film.

  Pro

  The guns, there is a good system for 3 guns a small primary weapon which is many pistols 1 is silenced and 2 machine pistols and a mini grenade launcher. Then there is a primary weapon, which is things like assault rifles (ak-47) some subs and some snipers, and a special weapon, which are LMG's, rocket launchers and a silenced sniper. Now every single one of these guns is brilliant you wouldn't mind using any of them and there is some tactics in what gun you use to make sure you've got the right weapons to deal with multiple situations. But when you unlock all guns and get what I cant remember the name of but ill call it the shotgun rifle. That's all you really need you see it's got the damage and spread of a shotgun but yet with the range and fire rate of an AK-47! I use it with the secondary grenade launcher to blow **** up and mid range killings with the special sniper rifle with silencer for far away and stealthy approaches. It works all the time. Or I have a second selection in store boxes of a Uzi, sniper and rocket launcher which is also very good but not quite as good, but easier to get. As you can see from my ramblings I love the guns in this game and its system for using them. I even like the jamming idea I just wish the enemies had to deal with it from time to time.

  So-so

  The online its good better than many but not amazing like cod 4 etc but still good fun to try but I would just recommend using the Mac 10 its so good.

  Conclusion

  In conclusion the game is good but to be honest after I became used to the good graphics it wasn't that good I've played it once and when you near the end its not great I also played 2 or 3 online matches then put it to the bottom of my games pile and went back to cod 4.

  Cod5 *cough* RIP OFF *cough*

  READ FIRST - This is based on MY OPINION, if you disagree no need to spam things such as **** you* i dont care about criticism if there is something to back it up so say what you disagree with and WHY. If you have an opinion without a reason for it then you're the idiot. And remember everyone (excluding Nazis, klu klux members and bush, lol jking.. about bush then again is he smart enough to have one that doesnt include oil?) diserves an opinion... unless you disagree with me... jking anyway onto the comparison.
  
  GUNS
  
  RIFLES
  I dont know about you but i was excited to get cod5 i had to wait till christmas for it as well making it an even bigger let down for me. I thought 4 was amazing the best online i've ever played (i was addicted 10th prestige etc) so it can only get better? I though ok its WW2 but o well how bad could the guns be? The horror! I loved the way cod4 had a short selection of each category of guns but they were all good in there own ways, but the rifles were a let down because there are 5 right?.... WRONG! there are 2. the stg full auto one and the others all count as the same, because thats what they are. and they just copied those 4 from the G3.... because thats everyones favourite weapon from cod4?? Well down who's leading the team a retard?
  
  SUBS
  now onto the subs there are only 4 as a start and the thing about them is none realy stand out from the other. I played match after match to find something to show this 1 has something i want this is my new mp5 or my new uzi etc, but i never found it. Also the subs are way too overpowered by their range to damage with most maps making them the best gun i mean nearly every player uses the bloody mp40. you never had that on cod4 everyone liked their own specific guns. ow and as for round drum my idea was a double sided clip so you can really quickly turn it over (i think i seen that in another game but cant remember where though).
  
  SHOTGUNS
  Next onto the shotguns, the first one i tried i thought o hell no i went back to cod4 and used the w1200 and yup worse in every single way wtf!? as for the double barrel well its allright but still its nowhere near as good as the m1014 and the maps dont compliment it that well although its alright if u get the right perks and attatchments but still no m1014. but this is the perfect example it feels like 1/2 of cod4 i mean the trench gun has 4 shots w1200 8 shots. w1200 ok, trench gun needs point blank shot to kill! hello i have a knife.
  
  SNIPERS
  the sniper rifles.... do i realy have to repeat the rifles page ok they added a bayonet and a iron sight but i came up with the idea of a red dot sight m40a3 before cod5 was annouced ffs! the sniper rifles are basically 4 slight variants of the m40a3 but not as good, thanks for that. and finally well the last 1 is just a barret rip off but to try make it better they just punched up the power. i mean everything bout it is a rip of it looks the same has the same reload of a clip and style look colour even the enoying recoil after a shot etc. inginuity.
  
  MACHINE GUNS
  I left machine guns (light machine guns) to last because its the only thing that is really good. I will say that in my opinion this is an improvment on cod4 ( the only 1 lol hardly an achievment i can imagine them saying 'well the whole game is **** in comparison, but we did 1 weapon section better, SUCCESS') but seriously it is an improvement because in cod4 they had an lmg (which i dont like) then just changed the speed to power to recoil to reload stats. in cod5 they have 5 and apart from the bar (second realy slow one) they're all pretty good and much more varried. also they added the bi-pod (yet again i thought of that before the cod5 announcment. Ow my god! hey they could hire me to get great games copy them worse but add a few new things! I'm minted! lol) so what they've done is get a wide variety of good guns (excluding the BAR) and added a bipod. the problem is that the subs are too overpowered so the machine guns dont get as much shine as they should.
  
  PERKS
  they took the pre-existing ones and added a few new ones e.g. flamethrower which isn't great, not worth it really. they replaced claymore (my love) with betty's omg they're crap in comparison i was a claymore veteren, bettys are crap u can drop em nearly anywhere and get a kill, it should come in a box 'NO SKILLS NEEDED.' and a few more perks that arn't that good e.g. shades, which yet again i though of for cod4 im so pissed i felt like they stole my ideas to improve a great game and still made it worse!!
  
  MAPS
  well excluding map packs cod4 had 20 which apart from countdown i loved them all.. so much. cod5 had i think 10 or 13, thats roughly half (im not sure exactly but roughly) and the cod5 maps were no where as good!! and there's less of them!!!! how can you do that!! yould think as they ripped everything of cod4 theyld have time to make good maps but o well.
  
  KILLSTREAK
  well at 3 there the same thing.
  at 5 air strike is faster but less effective. artillary is slow to start but wider range and more explosions.
  7 the heli is good but not too overpowered. the dogs are so ****ing enoying for instance if 1 is behind you-no chance somehow they can bite me even though a knifed and killed them! also how can a dog take so many bullets, and why do dogs keep coming! The heli can be avoided by buildings etc but does limit your movements making you sitting duck but o well and a heli can be armoured to take bullets dogs arnt! also dogs lead enemies to you and distract you from enemies so you get eaten or shot! not fair!!
  
  GRAPHICS
  they're better but considering the game out what a year later thats hardly uch to brag about especially as the graphics wern't amazing.
  
  A GAME FOR NEWBS
  this game feels to me like it was designed for newbys/rubish players. example;
  1)bettys - previously explained easier to use no skill needed, just drop anywhere.
  2)Tanks- yeah thats fair a mp40 vs a tank?!?!
  3)for some reason guns range to damage seems unbalanced a bit especially in subs.
  4)the maps require no experience to use effectively.
  
  this to me is an insult as when i started cod4 i wasn't good (my first onlin experience) i had a 0.61 kill/death this lasted a while but by level 20 or 30 i got better and managed to pull it up to about 1 but by then my bad early playing really pulled it down. i worked to get good at the game which is why 5 is so enoying cause little skill/ experience is needed!
  And so cod 5 pulled away many newbs leaving cod4 as a more skilled game keeping most newbys away.
  
  please not im not calling everyone who plays cod5 a crap player/newb as many of my friends who were very good at cod4 switched
  
  CONCLUSION
  First you take a cod4 minus the good guns and the good maps and add crap rip offs of the bad stuff of guns and maps aswell add a garnish of a few new little things and some rubbish things that'll rarely get used. leave in the studios to attract hype and gullable people to play and you have cod5.... yeah i'm not buying it!.... what you thought no one would notice!! you took a choclate cake replaced cocoa with dog **** and think you can call it the next best chocolate cake!?!
  
  lol thanks for reading my rant and again CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM vioce your opinions, resolving to swearing shows you clearly have no reason to argue and know that you're wrong =] i wonder is there a cod 5 is better than 4 blog? i hope to inspire 1 =] i will be interested to read your views and reasons for them i will also be ready to laugh at the idiots who just swear **** you, you idiot you know nothing* cause atleast i have a reason for my opinions. i'm saying in advance to the idiots out there so i only write this once if you cant give a reason for your views i'm not interested.
  p.s. how lame will it be if some1 actually says yeah well you cant spell properly then propubly spell something wrong themself.
