    My 6th 1000!!

On Thursday, I decided to rent a game that I could beat in a short time. I was stuck choosing between TMNT or Lost: Via Domus. Being a Lost fan, I decided to give Via Domus a try. The game was average and some parts were tedious. The story fit into the Lost universe though the ending left me confused. If you are a Lost fan who wants to know all things Lost, give this game a look. However, be sure to rent this game because it can be beat in a weekend. I don't believe that a short story justifies a $30 price tag.

    The Force is Unleashed!!!

After many months of waiting, The Force Unleashed has finally arrived. I was lucky enough to purchase the game from my neighborhood Gamestop yesterday. I wasn't able to play it yesterday because of my TV schedule (LOL). I got the game in the afternoon but I spent the majority of the day trying to pass the 50 stunts jumps in GTA IV. Only 10 of them were left and it took me about an hour and a half to 2 hours to get them. The last five were the most annoying because I had to keep retrying. Then I had dinner and watched House and Fringe. By the time I was done with everything. It was time to go to bed.

Today, I finally played Force Unleashed and so far its a pretty great game. The story is great and it really ties well into the Star Wars saga. Using the force on enemies is awesome. However, the action can stutter if there are to many enemies on screen. Any Star Wars fan should give this game a look to further explore the Star Wars saga.

    Braid Demo Reaction

I was able to download the trial version of Braid on Xbox Live. I first heard about it while watching E3 coverage on Gamespot. At first, I wasn't really looking forward to Braid because I felt it looked so standard. Spending some time with the demo has actually made me like this game. The graphics are stunning and the environments are so rich and colorful. While looking through the forums, a lot of people compared Braid to Super Mario and I agree with them.

The story is pretty run of the mill (guy loves princess, guy must save princess). The enemies I encountered in the game reminded me of Goombas from the Mario series. Lastly, the main character is traveling through worlds trying to reach castles. Despite these similarities, there are some differences. For example, the main character in Braid can control time (like Prince of Persia) and reverse time in order to stay alive.

Braid looks like a fun game that I would enjoy but one thing kind of makes me hesitant about downloading the full game, It turns out that the full price for the game is 1200 MS points ($15). It seems like a big price considering that this is an arcade game. Still, this looks like a good arcade game and people should at least give the demo a chance.
