Hey everyone! i know I haven't been on in, well, forever, but a terrible tragedy has occurred! While playing my 360, the image suddenly messed up. Vertical bars of pinkish hue cover the screen, and only do so in the games themselves, not on the Dashboard. I can still see what's generally happening in the game, so the bars have some opacity to them, but they definitely interfere with my ability to play/enjoy my games.
So, Microsoft has decided that this hardare malfunction, not of my fault but theirs, should cost me $100.00. Not wanting to stand for this grave injustice, I'm considering alternate routes to getting it repaired by them for free. However, the only issues which would allow for this are the RRoD and E74.
Since RRoD, to my knowledge, occurs from the system overheating and the soldering essentially melting away, I'm considering wrapping he 360 in towels and accelerating the process of overheating, until it red rings. Anyone whom I've presented this idea to says I should, since I have nothing to lose. But I was wondering what everyone's opinion is on this subject? Any errors or faults in it that I'm not seeing? I'd be deeply grateful for any and all input!

Hey everyone. Haven't been on here in ages, so I won't be suprised if no one reads this, but I still have to ask. One of my friends mentioned seeing a list of games fro Gamestop where if you traded 2 of them in you could get a copy of Gears 2 for 20 bucks.
I can't find this list anywhere, and I was just wondering if anyone could give me a link to it.

Guten Tag! Well castle crashers i an awesome game! Better than Alien Hominid in the level of difficulty, and 4 player co-op make it great! Definitely recommend it!!!!

Well, I'm basically freaking out about The Dark Knight coming out next week. seriously. Freaking. Out. Me and my friends Adam and Kate are gonna dress up as the Joker and his henchman for it and hopefully scare some kids

Well, I saw Indiana Jones when it came out. It had a ton of glowing reviews and everyone acted like it was awesome, so I was pretty pumped to see it. Unfortunately, it was dissapointing. For the first half I was pretty into it, but then it quickly degraded into a sci-fi Stephen Spielberg alien fetish movie. And Shiea LeBouff (spelling?) started swinging on vines with F***ING MONKEYS. And then the monkeys freaking ATTACKED THE RUSSIANS. How LeBouff managed to get wild monkeys to turn into trained killers i beyond me.
But basically I would've liked it more if it wasn't based around aliens, with spaceships in ruins. It just doesn't fit in with Indiana Jones going to ruins and uncovering the ark of the Covenant or the Holy Grail.
Still, it did have some pretty solid action scens, and Harrison Ford did amazingly well considerign how old he is now. About an hour or so into the movie you forget he's actualy an old man!
In conclusion, Cystal skull disappointed me. Some nice action sequences and good acting made it better, but the plotline was utterly pathetic.

Yeah!!! I got my 360 about a week ago, but I've been playing too much to post! I had a reasonably good gamertag started with about 20-30 achievements, but I had to give it up for Live because i gave them my real b-day (what was I thinking?!) and so I had to make a fresh one. Awww.....
But CoD4 is AWESOME!!!! Although there's some people who take it waaayyy too seriously, it's still cool. And Mass Effect is pretty fun too. Combat kinda sucks right now cuz Shepherd's untrained in everything but his pistol, but it seems like a really fun game.

Well, title says it all! I'm getting a 360 on this Sunday and a copy of CoD4!!!! I'm also hopefully getting a network adaptor, but does anyone know of any 3rd party adapters that DON'T cost 10 bucks!!?? (Why, Microsoft? Why?) So anyone with Live, please gimme your Gamertag, and I'll give you mine once I get Live.
Also, just curious if anyone else is seeign Iron Man on Friday. I'm going with a couple of my friends, and we're freaking out just because it looks so cool. I've never really read the Iron Man comic books, but I think he's a cool character. And there's fire in the movie. And explosions. Both of which I like a LOT.

Well, title explains it all. should I spend cash on a 360 and an adaptor? I've played Halo 3 and coD4 on my friend's 360 on Live and I think it's awesome, but is it worth it? Also, should I get Halo 3 first or CoD 4, considering I won't be able to get another game for who knows how long. Thanks in advance!

Well, as anyone and everyone who owns a Wii (and most people who don't), Brawl is comign out in 2 FREAKING DAYS in the US. WOW. It seems like just a few days ago i was freaking out about it being delayed AGAIN from its february release, and now I almost have it! I...AM...FREAKING....OUT. Soon enough I'll be rockin teh Wifi with all of my amigos/amigas (Including any of y'all that wanna play me). Soon enough I'll be playing the SSE. I don't care what some people think, that mode is going to be FUN!!
Still, Brawls imminent release made me realize something. This is how I felt when Melee came out. I mean, sure I'm more excited now because of all the features this game has, but still, basically I was incredibly excite for Melee when it was released, and now ook at it. Sure it's an awesoem game in its own right, but now that Brawl's coming out...It's....obsolete. Which makes me wonder....When Ninty makes Super Smash Bros. Shank (or wahtever they decide to call it), then BRAWL will feel obsolete in comparison, which doesn't make sense to me. it makes the cogs in my brain start jamming up, and I can't imagine any SSB game will be better than brawl ,but it has to be true. Anyone else thiught of that?
Oh,my basketball team won the championship game! Yeah!!
So, did anyone get the newest Nintendo power issue? I really like it, cuz almost every article pertains to a game I want. Especially the Brawl stage builder tips. Well, that's it for now. I'll see you on the battlefield!!!

Heh heh. Who thought this would be about GoW2? Anyone? Anyone? Well, it's not. That game looks, alright, but it's gonna literally recycle EVERYTHING form GoW, so yeah.

So yeah, in relation to the topic, I'm telling anyone fool enough to not have been doing so already....GET READY FOR BRAWL!!!!!! Stock up on Mountain Dew and chips, prime your Wii for immediate retrieval of Brawl, play some Melee or the original even, just GET READY!!!!!! Anyone else fighting in some tourneys? I'm gonna fight someone named rafasosa apparently. I'm sure I'll Falcon Punch him into shape though.

AWW YEAH!! My basketball team has yet another victory!! We won 49-23, utterly crushing our opponents, even when all of us were practically coasting through the game! Our record now is 6-1, and I'm feeling GOOD! Except for my right knee. Really hurts for some reason...OH YEAH!! One of the shorter players drilled me in the area aove my knee with his elbow when he tried dodging around me! He still went down, but my knee still hurts. Anybody else have any injuries right now?
In other news, we had a snow day. It was awesome because we were only supoposed to get like 1-2 inches, but the snow poured down!
Recently I've really felt sorry for all you Europeans in the case of Brawl. I'm going insane waiting for it when I have only around 19 days I think (too lazy check) and then they announced that you guys get it in June. Ouch.
They have a trailer for Gears of War 2. I thought the first game had an awesome singleplayer, but online was pretty weak.

Ugh.... I'm just kinda making a new blog for no reason. Got bored of the old one, cuz I already bought an ipod..Well..Anyone else pissed that the Pats lost? I sure am!
Played any good games lately? I've beenaddicted to Days of Ruin, been playing Medal of Honor Heroes 2, BWii, shooter/war games lately.
I'm bored though, waiting for Brawl. There's really no good excuse to delay it if it's already been released in Japan! And I want to play all my GS friends on wifi a lot too! Anyone else going kinda crazy?
Yeah, it's like 9:30, an I'm tired for some reason! I played a gmae of baksetball and our team lost in the very end (just like the Pats) but I shouldn't be tired this early!!! GAH!!
Anyone else out there who saw Meet the spartns and actually thought it was pretty funny?
Also, anybody else heard of Queens of the Stone Age? I got some of their CDs form the library (Lullabies to Paralyze, Era Vulgaris, and Songs for the Deaf if you're wondering) and I can't stop listening to them! They're addicting! Plus, good songs to play when you're beating down people on wifi!

Well, I'm in a dilmma of sorts. I have two options right now for a new portable music playing type thing. On one hand, I could go out, buy a PSP with a memory stick and all that, or I could buy an 80 gig iPod, quite a bit of which I probably wouldn't use. So, which one should I get? Also I need to know if I can import my iTunes library onto the memory card, cuz I had a 2 gig that I filled up. If I can't import all of my iTunes songs onto the memory card, my PSP would be kinda worthless aside from Battlefront. PKEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE!!!

I'm gonna be making tourneys soon for Mario Strikers Charged and BWii, and, when I get it, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2!!! So yeah. I'm pretty excited about that, cuz I've never led a union before, and now I've got a union with 2000+ soldiers under my control!!!!

6Sep 07Well, yesterday I got a Wii!! I was too busy to blog about it yesterday, but i got around to it. Man, the Wii is freaking awesome though! I got Metroid Prime 3:Corruption, LoZ: Twilight Princess, and Mario strikers Charged. I'll ve reviewing all of them as soon as I've played all of them exttensively. I don't like Wii Sports very much though, because I'm tall, so in order for the sensor bar to register my movements (even though it's on top of my T.V.) I have to crouch down to play most of those games, and I can't really sit in a chair cuz I need room to swing my arms. Still, it's probably my favorite system of all time right now.
