  Flame Wars

  There's a "war" being fought in the message boards, the comment sections of articles, and in the hearts of many gamers. A savage fight over technical or exclusive supremacy of consoles. It's a sad fact that people take far too much pride in a computer wrapped in plastic with a logo slapped on the front. 

  I own a computer, but not the normal dell or HP brand ones. I built mine personally, worked hard for the parts and did my research. Much like other PC gamers I have pride in my computer. Knowing the ins and outs of it make it more of a unique item than the next console. I also own an Xbox 360 and Wii. All of them are good systems that i play games on every now and then. I jokingly post about the supremacy of PC's over everything in comment sections for laughs, but I feel like far too many people take me seriously. Are console wars really that important? Do I need to fight to defend my favorite piece of hardware? 

  Example:

  I like grapes... you like oranges... so we must fight to the death over which one is better?

  Hopefully people don't actually fight over these kinds of things, except maybe as a joke, but I feel like this describes the state of gamer debates pretty accurately. Sony V.S. Xbox V.S. PC V.S Nintendo. Pick your side and initiate launch of flame wars.
