    Buffy Season 2 Overview and Have I Lost My Touch?

    Hey guys, hope you're all well, and excited for Christmas. I'm very busy in school this year, as it's my last year, but I'll eventually get there. College next year.

    Anyway, last couple of weeks, I've been trying to force myself back into tv.com as at least a semi-reglular member. I've done a couple blogs which have gotten a mere 4 or 5 comments, and I've even attempted to do more subs, which all got rejected. I miss the old days, when I was a respected contributor and blogger. Anyway, I'll keep it going. I'm having fun doing these Buffy reviews, even if no one reads them. :p

    Here's my season 2 review.

    Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 2

    This season is perhaps my favourite season so far. It has some very orginal episodes, and some likable new characters. Great storylines throughout, and great character gelling and development. But overall, what it does best is simply entertain. Fantastic season.

    Standout Episodes: Halloween, Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, Killed By Death, Becoming Part 1 and 2.

    Favourite Characters:

    5: Xander

    4: Willow

    3: Spike

    2: Oz

    1: Cordelia.

    Buffy - Season 1 Overview

    As you may or may not know, I've gotten into Buffy recently. Over the last 4 months, I've watched seasons 1 - 4, and am currently on 5. I thought it'd be cool to do little overviews on all the seasons. Obviously I'm gonna start with 1. I haven't watched it in a while, so my mind might be a bit foggy. Anyway, here it is:

    Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 1

    Buffy

    Season 1 is probably the weakest season I've seen so far. Although it gives a good introduction to the characters, and gels them together well, the season focuses too much on Advenure Of The Week type thing. Still, with great characters, some strong episodes, and a touch of comedy genius from Joss Whedon, it still makes a good watching experience.

    Favourite Episodes: Welcome To The Hellmouth, Nightmares, Prophecy Girl

    Favourite Characters:

    3: Buffy Summers: Buffy herself is at her most quirkiest and perhaps most likable in season 1.

    2: Willow Rosenberg: Who secretly does not want to marry Willow? Her nerdy innocence in season 1 is touching and charming. Plus, she's clever and funny.

    3: Cordelia: There's just no beating her. Cordelia seems like your average b***h, but pops up every now and then to assist Buffy and co. Dumb, but hillarious, Cordelia has some of the best quotes ever said on the show. Cordelia often steals the show, and is sorely missed in later seasons.

    TV And Rotten Tomatoes

    What's going on tv.com? Haven't been on the net much lately. Busy with school.

    Still, I've had time to watch tv. Some great new shows this year, and I'm enjoying watching some old ones too.

    True Blood: I'm up to episode 5 of the 1st season. Really liking it, and apparently the 2nd season is better, so I look forward to that.

    Dollhouse: Unfortunately it may be getting the axe, but at least I still have lots of episodes to watch. I'm currently on season 1 episode 3.

    V: Just started, and the Pilot was quite good. I'll keep watching.

    Fringe: Season 2 is awesome so far. Love it.

    Buffy: I'm on season 5 on dvd. This is quickly becoming my favourite show. Love it.

    Oh, and most of my internet time thesedays is spent on Rotten Tomatoes, doing reviews for movies and shows. It's actually a great site. I recommend everyone to join.

    Moshing and Walt

    Hey lads, what's happening?

    I'm off to see Metallica (The best band ever) live in Dublin this Wednesday. Then we're staying overnight in a hotel. It's gonna be freakin' insane. I've like never been to a concert before, and I'm guessing this one will be hectic! I mean, it's metal. I can't wait.

    Going away for a bit...

    I'm off tomorrow morning to Kerry (In Ireland). Nothing glamorous, but should still be fun.

    I might be only going for a week, but we're thinking of going to Kilkee straight after it....so maybe two weeks.

    Oh, and the RPG will continue when I'm away..we're now looking for a new Locke, seeing as Mchez had to leave, so if you're intersted: LOST RPG

    A Blog Like The Old Days!

    According to darkUFO, the UK (Me) are getting Lost Season 4 boxset before the US. We get it October 27th, before the US who get it December 7th. I'm delighted, seeing as its a week after my birthday.

    In terms of TV...I've watched the first 2 episodes of Private Practice and I really like it. You can read my review in my reviews section. Also, I'm up to episode 6 of season 4 in Greys. It's good too. Still haven't gotten 'round to watching Buffy, but I will.

    With movies, I haven't been to the cinema in ages, but rented a few lately. I watched Semi-Pro today which was alright. But a few weeks ago No Country For Old Men and Cloverfield were just epic. I recommend em'

    Listening to a crapload of music lately. I've gotten into somew new bands, including Radiohead, Slipknot and a few months ago Metallica. I'm going to Metallica's concert in Dublin August 20th. It's gonna be epic! Also, Slipknot are releasing a new album 4 days later so that'll be a good week.

    Recommend Me Some Shows!

    Hey all....hope everyone's good.

    Anyway just a little blog about tv. It's Summer, which of course means lots of free time to do nothing. I've taken up guitar among other things, and am going out with friends pretty often. The internet and tv fills in the gaps in between. I'm having troubl;e finding some of the latter though.

    TV. Yep, I need some new shows to watch! Well when I say new, I mean old really...just any show I haven't seen before. One that I can rent out or buy on dvd and watch all the way through. I'm pretty sure I'll go with Buffy and Alias, but if they fail, I might need something else. So, please suggest away!

    Hi guys..how's everyone been? All on Summer holidays yet? I am, and that's why I'm here, really.

    1 Year At TV.com

    Yes, it's true. Your greatest hero on tv.com (Joking!) has been here for 1 year now. It was December 20th 2006, (I know, this blog is 3 days late! My bad) when I first joined this community. It's weird for me, because it actually feels much longer. In that space of time, I've had my share of ups and downs, but most of the time it has been fun. I'd like to share some of those Ups and Downs with you guys now, aswell as some of my tv.com acheivements!

    Mash!

    First of all, no the blog title has nothing to do with the show MASH! Alright guys, haven't blogged in a while so i thought I'd do a short one.

    Me, Myself And I

    First of all, next week will be my 1 year anniversary, so I'll try make a descent blog for that! Um..life is going well, Christmas is getting ever closer and it's great! I love Christmas, it's a fantabulous time...but I don't feel the spirit yet, which is kinda sucky. Does anyone else feel like me? Anyway, I had a day off in school today which is always good, gave me some time to clean up my room, and I guess write this blog! Only about 9 days left of school before holerdays, which rocks! Hope everyone else's are coming soon too!

    I recently got into this show, Kyle XY and I have to say it's really great. I'm on episode 6 now, and it's going strong. It's really the only thing on tv I'm watching at the moment. All my favourites are on hiatus and whatnot, which sucks. Anyway, Kyle is a great show, and I recommend it to anyone. have a look at my review I did yesterday, below.

    MASH - Now you'll know what I'm talking about. Mash = Mikey and Ash! AKA Mikeymb9 (Or something, I never remember it! ) and LOSTismylife! The are two of my best friends here on tv.com, and other places. We have gotten to know eachother really well the past few months and it's been really fun. I'm so glad I know these two people, because they're great! Just thought I'd let you know that! Good stuff Mikey and ash, you guys rock!

    A Day In The Life Of...

    Hey guys, I'm sorry for not blogging for a while, but I never really felt like it. I'm just gonna post a few things in here, nothing special. I wanna say thanks to everyone who did my caption contest, but I'm sorry to say i wont be continuing it on. It's not my cup of tea at the mo', sorry.

    A Day In The Life Of...

    I wrote this little fiction thingy at a forum and thought I'd like to share a few episodes of it with you guys. It's basicly a little story about a Day in the life of a certain member of that forum. One of these members was Ash (LOSTismylife) and I wrote an episode about her. I got some praise for it, so i thought I'd post it here too. Beware of the language though!

    Ashley

    "Hey guys" typed a girl into her computer. The girl was brown haired and blue eyed. She was about 5'5" tall.
    She had a kind look about her. She wore a blue Ambercrombie hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes.
    She had a silver necklace that had a big "A" pendant on the end of it The room she was in was nice.
    It had a computer, a television, a small couch, a table, and a mantelpiece which was above an artificial fire.

    "Hey Ash" she read off the screen. The words were next to Joey's name on FI's Cbox. The girl smiled. "OMG Joey! Hey smile.gif!" she wrote."Hi" he wrote back. "How are you??smile.gif" Ash wrote. She waited a few minutes but there was no response.
    "Jesus! Why are people so f**king ignorent!" Ash said aload. "Maybe If I keep talking, he'll respond" she told herself.
    "Gosh, I'm soo bored" she wrote into the box. After a minute, still no response. "What A D**k!" she said.
    On her computer she minimized her Internet Explorer and opened up I-Tunes. Once open, Ashley clicked on a playlist titled:
    "Songs I like to sing when everyone is being ignorent f**s and I'm bored outta my f**kin' mind!". She double clicked it and a list
    of songs came up. She picked one at random, "Thnks For The Memories" by "Fallout Boy". The song came on Ashley started
    shaking her head franticly. "Man, this song is b**chin'" she shouted out! She started singing and typed the lyrics into the cbox.
    "Thanks For The Memories..." she sang aloud. Just then, Joey wrote back. "You love singing to yourself Ash! smile.gif".
    "Oh, now you talk!?" she said to herself sarcasticly. "Screw this s**t" she said as she closed IE. She turned up the volume on her computer until i was blaring. Ash got up from her seat and started shouting the lyrics.
    She then broke down into an angry guitar solo. "Do, do dooo" she roared as she strummed her imaginary instrument.
    "F**k Yeaaah" she screamed as the song came to an end. Ashley went over to the computer and switched it off.

    She started thinking. "S**t" Ash said "I've have school today!". She looked at her watch. It was 10:27. "Only 10:27" she said.
    "I'll only be ablout 2 hours late". She walked out of the room and into the bathroom to do her makeup.
    "Yeah Ashley, Ooh you're soo sexy" she told herself as she posed in the mirror.
    When she finished doing her makeup, Ash went out into the hall. "Mom!" she shouted up the stairs.
    "Mommmmm!" she roared again. Ashley's Mother walked out to the top of the stairs, and rubbed her eyes.
    "Ashley? What are you doing here? You should be in school!" she said. "I (emphisising) KNOW!" Ashley told her.
    "Why'd you think I'm calling you!?". "I'm not bringing you Ashley, it's your own fault. You'll have to walk or take your bike."
    her Mother said. "That's so fu**ing unfair Mom, that bike is tiny!" Ashley protested. "Then walk, and watch your language young lady" she said. Ashley stormed out the front door slamming it behind her. She went around the back, into the garage.
    She looked at her bike, it was a pink barbie bike that was made for 7 year olds. Half the age Ash was.
    Ashley gave a huge sigh and grabbed the bike. She started to pedal down the road.

    She arrived at school at 11:13. She went around the back of the building and dropped her bike onto the ground.
    It looked odd in with all the other bikes, which were standing and chained up. Ashley walked in the main school door.
    She walked down a corridor and to her locker. She opened it up, to see a graffitti covered inside of the door.
    Two lists were written up. One was headed: "Girls I absolutely Love" and a list of about 12 girls under it, all written up
    in an array of girly, glittery colours. The other list was titled: "Girls that I hate and are absolute b****es like OMG I hate them!". Under this was a huge list of about 60 names, which came right down to the end of the locker. Ashley opened up her bag and took out a lunch which included a muffin and, a sandwich and a DR.Pepper extra extra light.
    She put the items into her locker and opened up her journel. "Nice one, biology!" she exclaimed. "I know just how to stay
    outta' trouble with Mr. Peterson!" she happily told herself. She put some books in her locker, closed it and walked down the corridor until she reached science lab 15A.

    She walked into theroom "Where were you Ashley?" Mr. Peterson demmaned. "It's 11:40, c-lass is almost over!".
    "I'm really sorry Mr. Peterson" Ashley said as she put on a cute puppy dog face. " I won't let it happen again, I promise!" she she said twinkling her eyes at him. "Very well, sit down" Mr. Peterson said. Ashley smiled and started to walk down to her seat. She passed a group of girls sitting at the top ofc-lass They gave her a dirty look, and Ashley scowled back. She then passed a group of boys who all smiled and waved at Ashley. She did the same back. She then reached the back ofc-lass where her "Posse" waited. 'The Plastics' they were known as to the less popular girls. There was Stacey, Cindy, Sophie and of course the leader, Ashley. "hey!" Stacey said to Ashley as she forced Sophie to move a place to the left so Ash could sit down. The girls began gossiping rapidly. "OMG" Sophie said. "Did you hear about Morga?". "No" Ashley said.
    "Well, word has it, she made it onto the cheerleading squad!". "What!?" Ashley screamed. "Hey" Mr. Peterson roared.
    "Keep it down girls!". "Sorry Mr. Peterson" the girls said in chorus twinkling their eyes at him. "Morga!?" Ashley said in a lower tone. "She's like the fugliest b**ch on the planet, and her face looks like it was steamrolled or something!". "I Know right!?" Sophie said. "Yeah, and she's like fat too! I think she's like Ronald McDonald's daughter or something" Cindy added.
    The girls giggled.

    As the day dragged on, the girls chatted there way through everyperiod making fun of many girls in the process.
    When lunchtime came, Ashley went to her locker to get her food. When she opened it up, she found a pink little sticky note
    "Hey Ash, I forgot my lunch today so i stole your muffin! KK, love ya! ~ Cindy XxX."
    "Fat f**king b**ch" Ash yelled as she ripped the note from the locker. Some people in the corridor glanced over at her.
    "Well, that's one name that's changing lists!" Ashley told herself. She took out a marker and scratched out Cindy's name from the Love list, and transferred it to thebi**h list. Ashley grabbed the rest of her lunch and headed out to the canteen.
    She spotted Stacey and Sophie siting down at a table. She went over to join them. "Where's Cindy?" Ashley asked.
    "Bathroom" Sophie told her. "You'll never guess what she did?!" Ashley whispered. "She ate my muffin!" "OMG, fat whore" Sophie said. "Here she comes" Ashley said. "Pretend like I'm not mad at her okay? I wanna' get her back bigtime. I'll have to think about it later!". "Sounds good" Stacey said. Cindy came back and sat down. The ate lunch together for a while, then Morga walked pass. "Hey Morga" Ashley said to her. "I Heard you made cheerleading squad, that's great! I love your hair by the way!" Ashley told her. "Really, Oh My God, thanks!" Morga said delighted. She was so happy some people would've thought GOD himself came down and told her she'd won the lotto. "Jesus! I was only kidding" Ashley said hurtfully.
    "You belive anything, stupid fat f**k!" Morga ran away crying. "Love ya!" Ashley shouted sarcasticly after her. The group of girls laughed cruelly.

    The day went on, and the girls chatted more. After school the girls had cheerleading practise. All the girls on Ashley's "Love Ya" list were there, plus a few more. Morga, however, was not. "Thank God, fatso didn't turn up eh Ashley?" Cindy said.
    "Would you ever shut the f**k up Cindy! Jesus, your such a lickass!" Ashley said. The girls cheered and whatnot for an hour.
    They then got a lift home in a guy's car. The guy was 17, three years older then the girls, but he still offered the lift. I mean, no one could say no to the plastics, plus they were hot and this guy, afterall was just a guy.(F**ing Perv!)
    He dropped the girls off in their neighbourhood and waved goodbye as he drove off. "OMG, he is like soo hot!" Stacey said.
    "I Know!" Ashley said. "I'm so letting him feel me up next time!". "Totally!" Cindy said. They were walking until they reached Ashley's house. "K girls, bye1" she said as she went inside. "Love Ya!".

    Just as she got in, her younger brother teased her. "hahaha, Mom says your grounded!" he said. "For f**king what!?" she yelled. "Some teacher rang and told Mom, your failing Math." he told her. "hahah" he sang into her face. "Shut your f**king mouth!" she said to him through her teeth. "Do that again and I'll kick your ass!" she said to him, as she pushed him against the wall, holding him up by his neck. "Ashley!" her Mother yelled as she walked in the hall. She dropped her brother, who scattered away. "Why do you always have to be so angry Asley?" her Mother asked. "It's your fault I'm angry!" Ash shouted.
    "It's your fu**ingg fault! I'll kill you!" Ashley roared. "I will, I'll actually kill you!". Ashley dived towards her Mother, but missed. Her Mom was took quick, she dodged out of the way just in time. She ran to the press and opened it. There was a button inside that read: "In Case Of Emergency". She pushed it and suddely a TV screen came down from the roof.
    Ashley's eyes became focused on the screen. She froze. Just then lost came on. It was Season 3's finale "Through the Looking Glass". Ash became very happy. Her face resembled someone having an orgasm. Her Mother smiled as she walkd away, leaving Ash to her Lost watching. "Aaah Lost, what would we do without it!?" her Mother said to herself.
