    Lost is back...Finished My Exams

    Hey boys and girls,

Finally finished my Pre-Exams yesterday. It was a tough 6 days, but I made it.

Overall, I think I did well. We have a point system here in Ireland, which decides if you're good enough for the college course you choose.

If I had to estimate, I'd say my results will be something like this:

    English B3 - 75 Points

    Spanish C3 - 60 Points

    Business B1 - 85 Points

    Biology B3 - 75 Points

    Maths (Ordinary Level) B2 - 40 Points

    Irish (Ordinary Level) B3 - 35 Points

    Accounting - C3 - 60 Points

They count your best 6, so that's roughly 390 Points. My course is 330, so I should definitely get it in the real thing, which is in June.

I'm on midterm now, so I have a week to just chillax and catch up with tv! Plus, I'm going out to a party tonight, should be good.

In terms of TV, Lost is back, and it's kinda of hit and miss. I thought the premiere was great, but not mindblowing. I thought the 2nd episode picked up. Oh, cliffhangers, how I've missed thee. So, I have big hopes for this season. It's still easily the best thing on televison.

I'm also watching Supernatural season 2 on dvd, Glee season 1 on tv, Modern Family on tv, Desperate Housewives and Greys Anatomy too.

I'm a bit behind on Skins. I have the episodes recorded, so I'll probably watch them this week. Still, I'm not expecting much...it seems to have lost it's way. Plus, I started watching Caprica, which is actually pretty good. I never got into BSG...I rented season 1 a few years back, didn't really like it. But this is good. I'm liking it.

Oh, and I'm probably gonna buy Buffy Season 7 this week. I'm really looking forward to it, but I'll also be really sad when it ends. At least I have Angel to move onto after. Giod bless Joss Whedon.

    Anyway, take care people..

    Joe.

Just Saw Avatar...Exams Start This Week

Hey guys, hope everyone is good.

Just letting you know my exams start on Thursday. I have Maths and English this week (Both of which have 2 papers) and next week I have Irish, Biology, Business, Accounting and Spanish.

It's gonna' be tough work, and I'll be busy studying over the next 2 weeks. Still, I'm not that worried as it's only the Pre Exams (A warm up for the real thing in June). Anyway, just letting you know, in case you wonder why I'm not online. Wish me luck. I'll be back in a couple weeks (Or maybe pop in at the weekend).

Oh, and I just came back from Avatar in the cinema.

Overall, I think it was good. It certainly isn't the best movie of all time, and perhaps it isn't as Game-Changing as Cameron had suggested. Still, it was lots of fun, and one of the greatest visual experiences you'll ever get in the movies. I think there could've been about 30 minutes shaved off the movie, but nonetheless, still good. I give it 8/10, but the 3-D brings that up to a 9/10.

In terms of TV, still slowly getting through Supernatural season 2. It's going quite well. I watched the 5th episode of Glee the other night. Some great tunes in that one. 24 is starting in 15 minutes, and of course Lost is back on Thursday. Can't wait. Fringe was on the other night too. The episode where they're all quaratined. I can't remember the name, but it was good.

Oh, and Skins started last week, and unfortunately it was dissapointing. It wasn't fun, wasn't terribly interesting and was quite depressing, actually. I'm hoping it'll pick up, but I'm skeptical.

Oh, and I'm hopefully gonna buy Buffy season 7 this week.

    Take care everyone,

    Joe.

    So, I started watching Supernatural..

Hey lads, what's up? Been busy lately studying for my exams which start Feb 4th. They're not terribly important. They're basicly a practise for the real thing in June. Still, I hope to do well. We'll see how it goes.

In terms of tv lately, I decided out of the blue to buy Supernatural season 1. I just finished it the other night, and It was good. It's not amazing by any means, and doesn't really compare to the likes of Buffy, but it's quite good. I'd give season 1 a 7.5/10.

The standout episodes being: Pilot, Bloody Mary, Nightamre, Dead Man's Blood, Salvation and Dead Man's Blood.

I bought season 2, and am 3 episodes in so far. It's looking good. I'm heard the seasons improve, so I'll see how that turns out.

Other tv I'm watching is Glee: Just watched episode 4, and man I love this show. It's a perfect blend of comedy, drama, music and just has a really likable quality to it. Really loving it.

Buffy Season 6. I'm about halfway through season 6, which has been solid so far. I just watched the Double Meat Palace episode, which was pretty damn good.

Season 5 turned out to me maybe my favourite season so far, with possible the best cast. It had great characters, some really good episodes, and plenty of drama.

Standout Episodes: Family, The Body, The Weight Of The World, The Gift

    9.5/10

I'm also watching Modern Family, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy and 24 season 5 on dvd.

Plus, Dollhouse just got amazing. (Season 1 episode - Briar Rose)

Eagerly awaiting: Lost season 6, 24 Season 8, Skins Season 4, True Blood season 2 among others.

There's not much else on my mind. Oh, and I really really hope Joss Whedon and FX are working on a new show! Please God..

    Joe.
