  Rocksmith taught me guitar.

  It's been forever since I last wrote one of these so here's another.

  Over the last month I picked up Rocksmith as I've always wanted to play the guitar. I read reviews and searched the forums on what this game had to offer.

  I was getting mixed reviews, some would say, yes this game will teach you guitar, while others said its not worth getting. Who do I believe? Problem was I had no idea if these comments were coming from people who were playing for hours or for years.

  Well... I went out and bought it for myself.

  The day I bought it, I had no idea how to play anything. I'll admit when I first started playing the first song, Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones, I felt a little overwhelmed. Of course I played it brutally and kinda wondered why they threw such a difficult song at me so soon!

  After that I explored the song list and chose my favorite Black Keys song and started to try that out since I enjoyed the song better and it did help. That song was Next Girl. I went from playing very slowly to almost perfecting it in just a couple of days. The game really does help you out by choosing your skill level. Sometimes it can be annoying though like when you miss a note and the game thinks your way worse then you actually are. Kinda makes you not want to screw up again! Ha ha.

  I play the game at least once a day and have downloaded some guitar apps on my iPad to help me play guitar without having to always log on my ps3.

  I am really into learning guitar and I think that helps me a bit.

  I guess if you read this all to help you decide if you should get Rocksmith as a learning tool, it's a big yes from me.

  Its time to retire air guitar and start playing real guitar!

  Socom 4

  Socom 4 is almost here and I have been roaming the forums on socom.com and here on gamespot and there is way to much talk about Socom 2 HD?

  Being a Socom 1 and 2 vet I do realize how good Socom 2 was, but stop living in the past!!

  Sleeper Game

  Borderlands is awesome!! I recommend everyone to give it a go!
