    Going Skiing

Going skiing tomorrow at Sugar Mountain! Skiing is a lot of fun and I've been wanting to go again for while and now I get to go again. I won't be on at all tomorrow.

I got a Wii Sports Resort for Christmas

Only got one game this year

Swordplay in particular is the best sport on there by far. The showdown mode is absolutely hilarious. (play the game to see what I mean) Most of the sports are really addicting. And Wii Motion+ works well most of the time. I just needed the Motion+ for future games. I wasn't planning on enjoying Resort so much, but it's better than I expected.

Saw Avatar in 3D + other stuff

Yestersay, I saw Avatar in 3D! I was really excited, because everyone is saying it's epic. And they were right, for the most part. The most impressive aspect of the movie was the incredibly stunning world of Pandora. Every where you see is beautiful, whether it be the bioluminescent plants in the jungle or the awe-inspiring floating mountains. I thought all this was beautiful, but at first I thought the movie was really strange. The movie just kinda jumped right into it and briefly explained what the Avatar is. Anyway, once it got into the meat of the story I became very interested in the native people themselves. They were pretty wierd.

I was pleased to see that the movie was not entirely action and special effects driven. We see some great character development as well. Jake Sully goes from one viewpoint to the opposite and then some by the time the movie ends. But that's not to say the battles and action and explosions weren't awesome, because the definitely were. All in all I give the movie 5 stars easily.

In other news, I obtained all 16 heart containers and the Golden train set in Spirit Tracks! It took a long frustrating while to get all the treasure I needed for the Gold set, but I got it. I have done so much stuff in the game now.

    Also, Merry Christmas everybody!
