Last week I blogged about that I had finals this week, well 2 are done with and I have 2 left, heres a recap

Monday I had my kinesiology final, needless to say it was a walk in the park, all multiple choice

Today I had my calc II final, suprisingly I knew all the info and answered all the questions! Also there was a take home part, Calculus III here I come

Also I registered for the first half of my classes for the next semester Ive chosen

I need to register for 2 more classes, and next semester Ill be a junior at my university yay me!

I have my Law final tomorrow which shouldnt be that bad and my computer science final thursday and its a MONTH BREAK for me

Hi everyone! Recently I bought 4 games from the span of 2 months, October - November. And theres something funny I found with all of them, there all sequels!

This is the order in which I bought em.

Uncharted 2

Modern Warfare 2 Hardened edition (360)

Assassins Creed II (PS3)

Left 4 Dead 2 (360)

Heres my quick impressions for each of them

Uncharted 2

Ive never played the original uncharted 1 when it was out so I didnt know what to expect as playing the sequel, I dont know how its improved over the first one nor do I know how the 2 games tie together. But it is a damn good game. Right off the bat I dove into the mind of Nathan Drake, and boy is his life unlucky. Graphically its a beauty, and its probably the best Ive seen on consoles. The controls also feel great and are very responsive. I often found myself comparing the gameplay to gears of war 2. Overall the controls on UC2 felt a lot more 'natural' compared to Gears of War. I love this game. Im on chapter 24. Havent touched the online besides the beta. But I will soon.

Modern Warfare 2

Considering I loved Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, I was stoked to play Modern Warfare 2. I got the hardened edition and to be honest its kinda meh and overpriced. For an extra $20, you get a metallic cover, an artbook, and Call of Duty Classic (aka Call of Duty 1) The artbook is a bit silly for an FPS, maybe an RPG, but not an FPS. I do like Call of Duty CLassic. Never played it back in the day, but I just gotta say, wow Infinity Ward has changed. Wether it be for better or worse, Im still enjoying the games.

Onto the actual game, I beat the campaign and its a tad shorter than the first one. But I loved every bit of it. Multiplayer feels new to be, I like the customizable kill streaks, as well as the new weapons. Im still a fan of HQ

Assassins Creed II

I loved #1, despite... well everything, its repetition...its repetition...and its repetition -_-

Involving the same 4 things, gathering info, beating up people for into, flag collecting and killing people you learned about 1-2 hours ago.

2 years later, Assassins Creed 2 is out and I love this one a lot more than #1, Everything about this game is beautiful. Characters are more involed, Ezio is a lot better in terms of character compared to his ancestor, and the game as a whole is improved on. This is what I would call a sequel.

Left 4 dead 2

I wasnt going to get this initially since it felt to much like left 4 dead...

This July I turned 20( yay me) but recently Ive been realizing one thing, what am I doing with my life.

Sure I go to college ( not many are fortunate to be able to go, especially financially)

I have great friends

My parents have been nice and not kick me out of the house, which is something im grateful for

I guess my problem is that its the same old same old, which isnt a bad thing because I enjoy it, but I guess I need something new in my life, I duno how to feel right now, at least Uncharted 2 comes this week

http://store.steampowered.com/app/26800/Braid is an indi developed platforming game, but holy crap its amazing, im totally buying it this week, its also on XBLA as well, its normally $15, so having it on sale for $5 is a steal in my book.

Ive always been a console man, since I was a kid and Ive always wanted a gaming PC but I never really saved up for one but after seeing my friends and played a couple of games on it my reaction was pretty much this

Here are the games I played for it ...in 1080P!

Team Fortress 2- vastly superior to the 360 version, and I mean VASTLY, user based maps, more weapons and achievements and a better online community in general makes me wanna buy not just TF2- but the orange box all over again on the PC

Crysis- pretty meh to be honest, AI sucks and was rather generic, but it was awfully pretty to look at

Fallout 3- :O

I also played ps3 games on it via HDMI and playing Blazblue, once again made me go

Holy crap I really wanna get into PC gaming now, and theres so many games Id know I will buy for it.

But my problem is i duno what to get in terms of parts im gonna need some help on that but first i need to save some money

Mines has Cloud vs Link at the end of it, knowing the popularity of both, im confident it will happen. Though I did make some silly decisions

Dig Dug: honestly I thought he was popular enough to make it past the first round, then again ive never heard of kyle kartan so i didnt know how he would do in round one, oh well first mistake.

Phoenix Wright: I guess he just isnt well known enough, he has been in the same amount of games as lil mac as the main protagonist ( apollo justice he isnt the main character)

The apprentice: star wars was all on my mind, and i think there are better gta protagonist than mr bellic

Im disappointed to see master chief currently losing but even more disappointed to see raziel lose, honestly i dont think many people even played soul reaver, which kind of saddens me, one of my favorite dreamcast games. since square owns eidos now i wanna see more of him in the future

Yea i own Dissidia, holy crap i love it so much. To be honest I thought I wouldnt be into it that much, but thats all ive been playing, but I honestly need a new psp. Ive had my current one since launch, so I own an original one and theres some issues with it.

The analog stick is chipped of(top circle thingy), but still works

square button is slightly jammed in

I wans a 3000 but i really dont like the glossy back. Im still deciding between a 2000 or a 3000, PSP go is out of the question because its overpriced and I cant play UMDS, sony your stupid for that.

so far ive only played 10 hours into it and i really like the rpg elements to it, learning new attacks, giving your characters new weapons and having dream matches. I like how each character shows off its personality and tries to teach other characters new things. Did i mention its awesome? it is

-My major is computer engineering, I hope to get a minor in either eletrical engineering or physicsarring

-I own a super mario blanket

- I waited 11 hours in the cold in front of a best buy to get a Nintendo Wii LAUNCH DAY

- Own an NES and the very first issue to nintendo power as well as the power glove

- Obtained this gens consoles in the following order 360,Wii,PS3

-I broke all 3 GBA SPs , I might just buy another for nostalgic reasons

- I need to finish tales of vesperia, I might just do that if it comes to the PS3 in NA

- Im a sucker for limited editions/colelctors editions and prestige editions ( darn you modern warfare 2)

- I wanna own fight sticks for the current consoles

-Broke my tail bone when I was 12

-First RPG was quest 64

-First RPG I remember doing GOOD was Grandia II on the PS2

-fan of baseball,basketball, and fifa soccer

-Christian Bale is batman gosh darn you he can do whatever the batman wants to

- Born and Raised in San Francisco

- One goal in life is to own a house here in the city

- Lesson learned from this gen of consoles: dont buy consoles at launch ( well except for sony maybe )

So like many Americans I celebreated my freedom by blowing things up and having BBQ with good friends. We were at this spot called Mt Davidson, which is a spot at San Francisco, its a high spot in the city and a great place to see fireworks.

Today, July 6th marks my 20th birthday! I plan on having something with my family and maybe something with friends later who knows . I got some money so far but all I really wanna buy is blazblue and a Street Fighter Tournament stick, but heres my problem, I dont know what to get em on PS3 or 360 >.>, PS3 has remote play and fighting games are generally better on it in my opinion, i also plan on getting KOF 12, Teken 6, MvC2. so those are my options. ANyways this is my short blog but have a good day everyone!

There were many things i liked, all of the conferences were also very great, now lets get down to my personal picks.

Wii Motion +: Finally were getting more accurate controls, something Ive been wanting. Because of this, I really wanna get wii sports resort, as well as Red Steel 2. I also hope that the wii vitality sensor will be used in future games as SUDA 51 is intreasted in using it for No more heroes 2. I really hope both of these peripherals turn out great

Final Fantasy XIII : this is what year 3 it was shown at E3, and finally we get some sort of release date for NA / Europe, spring 2010 :/, this disappoint me considering Japan gets it this winter. I dont get it MGS4 was released world wide, meaning such a thing is possible, so why cant Square? What suprised me was that we were told that development for the xbox 360 version and localization wouldnt happen until after the PS3 japanese version was complete. Suprisingly at Microsofts E3 conference, they showed a new trailer all in english, and running on 360 hardware. This means Square decided to start its development earlier, yay!

FF XIV: holy snap this took me by suprise! FF XIII isnt even dont and were all ready getting XVI! I was in awe when I saw the trailer, but it all went downhill when it said ONLINE and my heart sank so deep. I really didnt like XI, but I will give this a chance. So now were getting both XIII and XVI, and to those who read my "fact" last blog, that was a joke.

Metroid : other M : A game done by both team ninja and nintendo! The trailer had me in awe the entire time, and it seems like were gonna get a more in depth story. From the trailer were getting voice acting as well, and it seems like a good cast. Everyones saw that 3/25 on the ammo, when it says this game will be released in 2010, but what does it mean, it could just be the ammo, or the date or possibly... BOTH
