This is my good friend, Call of Duty 4.

Before beating it fully (all 1000 GamerScore points), I had to beat a certain extra mission/epilogue after the credits called Mile High Club. This doesn't spoil anything in CoD4 because the end mission has NOTHING to do with the game your must beat to get to this special mission. If you have not played Mile High Club all you have to do is save a VIP and extract them while on a plane captured by terrorists in which you play as an SAS team. This editorial will be all about what this epilogue could mean.
For the Heck of It.
First off this mission is possibly the hardest mission on veteran. You have 60 seconds to beat it and I had to watch 3 youTube videos to get a winning strategy. This means that Activision put a lot of detail into this small but thought provoking mission thus I don't think they did it for no reason. However Infinity Ward could have used this as a mission prior to release and it got scrapped but thrown in at the end for fun.
Expansion Pack?
It is obvious that your teammates and enemies look very much like enemies in the original CoD4 so it could just be a hint at a retail expansion pack or future downloadable content...but I doubt it. IW likes to give to the gamers not jip them for every penny ala Electronic Arts.
???
This is what the mission description reads. So maybe they are doing it to confuse us? That's not nice....
Call of Duty 6 or...
Yes. Six. Call of Duty 5 has been confirmed by a few sources that it is back to WWII and is going to be made by Treyarch (Call of Duty 3) So Mile High Club would have to hint at missions from Call of Duty 6 or a new game. What would this new game be? Mostly likely a shooter but could they be shooting for the Ubisoft/Tom Clancy (GRAW/Rainbow Six) crowd? Does Infinity Ward think it is too lonely in the tactical/modern shooter genre? I wouldn't be suprised if IW (they are hiring as their online message hinted on launch to EA Chicago) keeps the core team on the next CoD (Most likely 6) and break off a newer team on a new game.
What do you think the Epilogue (Mile High Club) Mission means?
