Previous Games- Localization of popular games such as WoW, Gothic 3, and STALKER.

Publisher- Atari

Demo- Most likely not.

Price- $50

Difference between platforms? Only one platform.

Genre- RPG

What it's about-You are a Witcher. One of only four left in the world. Your job is to slay monsters. Go get 'em.

Enemies- Your a monster slayer. Expect MANY.

Length- 20-30 hours (estimated)

Options- Mix potions, Different Fighting Techniques, Many unique weapons, Good, Evil, and Grey Choices.

Why you should get this game- It will be the PC RPG of this year.

Multiplayer- None Announced.

Rent or Buy? Buy.

The Big Picture- If you like games like Fable and Diablo you will surely like this especially with it's mature themes. (A highly cut version will be released in US while an unrated/uncut version is most likely to drop in Poland)

    Indeed, The Witcher is a must have. I've seen a few vids of the combat and I wasn't too turned on... but it's the story and world I'm looking forward too. If it succeeds in the "choice&consequence" department then it has a big chance of being RPG of the year. We'll have to wait and see what NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer can do about that.

    I can't wait for this game either!! It looks amazing. I wish that the books were translated into english so I could read those too... The only thing I disagree with in ur blog is the 20-30 hours estimate. For one, I hope it lasts longer than that on one playthrough but even if it doesn't, replay value should be pretty high since there are going to be a bunch of endings and stuff. also I predict that the score will be 9.0+

    Dan- Yes AC will be coming soon but I have something special for next week...
    IPod + Masterchef- I don't think you need too high of specs to run it...
    Comit + Kato+ FastPunk- So true. Def a sleeper hit but I don't know if it will get the higher ratings even though it deserves it

    Though i am not a shooter gamer, these demos are cool! Just wished i could really get into them as they look really fun to play especially the Witcher kinda like the "older" setting/theme the game is in and the sound effects in COD4 is kind of funny (the little grunts and such).
    Anyhoo, hope you enjoy them and i like yer approach on the descriptions of games and such on yer blog

    Looks like a pretty interesting game. Although I've never really been into the traditional RPG's, I was a huge fan of Diablo. So this might be a game I will check out once it comes out.
