Alright. Name change. No more Games of the Month, it is now Games of '07, mainly holiday 2007. With August having only a few release only to be followed up by loads and loads of games in September and November. So Let's get started.

Stranglehold

Release Date- US: August 27th EU: September 7th

Platform- PC, 360, PS3

Developer- Midway

Publisher- Midway

Demo- Yes, XBL.

Price- PC $50 360/PS3 $60 Limited Edition $70

Difference between platforms? Yes, PC high req. No, 360. Yes, PS3 includes Blu-Ray version of John Woo's Hard Boiled.

Genre- Cinematic 3rd Person Shooter

What it's about- You play as Agent Tequila in a battle against gangs and mob bosses from Hong Kong to Chicago.

Enemies- Thugs with a wide range of guns, also boss battles.

Length- 12-15 hours (estimated)

Options- Straightforward shooting but with cinematic, movie-esque gunplay, standoffs, bullet-time, "tequila bombs".

Why you should get this game- For the adrenaline driven gameplay and cinematic scenes that leave you wanting more.

Multiplayer- Yes.

Rent or Buy? Rent.

The Big Picture- An accurate game version of all your favorite eastern movies with intense action.

Genre- Hack N Slash RPG.

What it's about- You are a servant of the Gods. Go Slay some bad guys.

Enemies- Magic, Wolves, Etc.

Length- 20-40 hours.

Options- Between weapons, skills, etc.

Why you should get this game- If you already beaten Titan Quest...It's a game.

Multiplayer- Yes.

Rent or Buy? Neither.

The Big Picture- Another Hack N Slash RPG with Pretty Graphics.

Predicted Score- 6.0
