I think you won't see me on Gamespot anymore. I simply find GiantBomb more convenient and the site much more productive . I won't totally be away from GS, but don't expect frequent blogs.
Come over to Giant Bomb! Here's my profile.

E3 is coming to an end.
My thoughts?
Well, to make it short and simple, I'm going to take Talor's ,aka TheWesker, idea and express my opinions using Gamespot's emoticons.
Microsoft:
Spotlights: Fallout 3 looks amajjing.Great new Xbox Live features. Diggin the new look of the dasboard. FFXIII announced for the Xbox 360.
Downers: Not too sure about the avatars. LIPS?

Nintendo: No emoticon can express the epic failure of Nintendo.
Spotlights: New Animal Crossing. That's about it.
Downers: Everything.

Sony:

Spotlights: God of War III also looks amajjing. Resistance coming to the PSP. Loved the opening for Little Big Planet. Nice Killzone 2 footage released.
Downers: Not too much on Home. Lost FFXIII as exclusive.
I think it's safe to say that Microsoft came out as the winners this year.
In other note:
The Dark Knight is in theatres tomorrow!

Hello everyone!
I've recently been addicted to Justin. TV and thought that I'd join the fun of broadcasting. I started off broadcasting with a crappy old webcam, but it felt totally wrong and pretty ghetto. So yesterday, I stopped by Office Depot and bought this,

For $50, it's not too bad.
I went through the whole installation process, which was not easy. The whole compatibility issue with Vista made me go nuts. I worked all night on trying to figure out why it wouldn't detect the audio. And with some help from fellow broadcasters, they told me that the audio only worked on Windows XP. So, I booted up XP, whola, worked perfectly.
Anyways, my channel hasn't gotten too many views, but I'm hoping it grows as I broadcast more often. If you guys are interested, check it out. And while you're at it, a fav. on my channel would be greatly appreciated.
As for some gaming, I recently finished up GTA IV and plan on moving on to Eternal Sonata, which I haven't touched since September '07.

In a seven hour match, Rafael Nadal finally pulled it off and defeated the world's greatest tennis player and 5 time Wimbledon champion, Roger Federer.
Ladies and gentleman, your new Wimbledon champion.

Hello everyone -
There's been a lot of noise coming from Sony lately about their next update on the PS3.This next update is nothing minor. It's coming with a lot of new features that I think a lot of owners have been waiting for. And some, that should've been there at the start.
The new update will include the following:
Friend category
View, send, receive messages
Manage downloads
Set the vibration feature of the controller
Sign in to PlayStation Network
Register friends
Manage Bluetooth devices
Terminate the game
Music category
Use the system BGM
Work the system BGM operation panel
Settings category
Assign controllers
View profiles
Game category
Set audio devices
Use the voice changerOh yeah. And lets not forget the trophy feature, PS3's system of achievements.
Yeah. A lot of new features are coming. Some that are exciting. And some that we simply don't care about. The big one right off the bat is the use of BGM (background music) and the trophies. The BGM feature, I think, should've been there from the start. I just think that a simple feature like this can easily be there from the beginning. For trophys, this could be great news for achievement whores on the 360, like me. But seriously, I see this trophy system becoming more popular and useful than Xbox Live's achievement system. Maybe even more useful with it's compatiablity with Playstation Home. For Xbox Live, the only way to prove your achievements is through points. How exciting. But for some reason, I don't know why I keep craving for more. lol. With the PS3, their new trophy system will allow others to see the trophies with a gleaming display. I don't know. Numbers are always good. But trophies are better.
Now that Sony is releasing some major features, I could finally see Sony being a hardy competitor against Xbox Live. Sony just needs to get around releasing Home. Please SONY. PLEASE!

Three things I like to point out about this game.
-Easily the game of the year.
-Easily the best game I've ever played.
-Easily beats FFVII. heh
But seriously...well worth purchasing a PS3 for.

Being a huge fan of the MGS series, I had high expectations for the newly released MGS4. And so far, it hasn't disappointed me one bit.
I was deeply shocked when Gamespot gave the game a 10. Not that it didn't deserve it, but Gamespot rarely gives out 10. But the review score didn't really matter to me or to other MGS fans, cause I believe the fans would've bought the game no matter what.
So what do I think about the game? Just absolutly amaziing! I'm not too far into the game, only 2 hrs in. But so far, it's what you expect from Kojima and the franchise. The cutscenes in the game is what really sets this game from others. With great voice acting, and an amazing story, this could simply be a movie!
The graphics are amazing, much improved from the previous. (Obviously) You can see that the team did a great job focusing on little stuff in the environment, instead of ignoring them.
I won't make this too long, or else I'll be the whole game for you guys. But in the end, Kojima has done a fine job of making sure that MGS just lives up to its name. MGS4 is solely the reason why I purchased a PS3 on release. It seems idiotic, but you'll see why.

Hello Gamespot! It seems that it's been another year since I've joined this great community.
Being a member on Gamespot for 3 years has been a great experience and I hope it continues. These past years have been on and off for me, but as I meet more new members in this community, it will definitly start to embellish my enjoyment of blogging. When I first joined in early May of 2005, I had no idea what I was doing. I think it was a total accident, as I mistakened Gamespot for Gamefaqs.
It wasn't until about couple months later I started blogging, but it was nothing serious; just random ideas. But as the year went on, I steadily swayed away from Gamespot as I wanted to take a break from Gamespot, and the internet community in general. But as blogging became more and more mainstream, I was slowly coming back to Gamespot, because it seemed blogging was the "thing."
As I started blogging, I became more interested in other blogs and communities. I wanted to become a better blogger, but the only way to accomplish that was to read others blogs and learn from their technique of providing information.
Now that these 3 years have lapsed, I am more interested in what I can provide to you and to myself as a blogger/writer. I want to thank you all for letting these years happen.
Thanks.

Happy Saturday everyone! Unfortuntley I didn't have any time to record a video blog today, so it looks like that won't be happening this week. So I'll just do it in text format.
I haven't been gaming too much, just waiting until Tuesday comes around. In preparation of GTA IV, I completed all the games I've been curently playing, which is only one; Crisis Core. The ending was pure sweetness, and I loved it. It was somewhat emotional, but nothing compared to Lost Odyssey. hehe.
The Metal Gear Online beta servers went up yesterday. I played a fair amount yesterday and today, and it's your typical Metal Gear, with the online feature. I'm a huge MGS fan, but MGO didn't really impress me that much. The only problem with this game is how slow paced it is. I'm not sure if this is a bad thing or good thing. MGS was never a fast paced game, but with a lot of fast paced games like Halo 3 and CoD4, I think that I've gotten to use to them. But I don't know, I might end up liking it more. I'll keep you guys updated.
There's approximately 2 days 38min remaining until GTA IV is released. Just TWO more days. These last few days will feel like forever. I don't plan on attending any midnight releases due to school, but I'll defintely keep you guys posted once I get it.
Well that's about it everyone, see you all on Tuesday!
Good night!

Mondays suck, am I right guys? Many of us have to wake up damn early for school or work and come back with loads of stress. I know many of you guys won't disagree, but Mondays just piss me off.
However, by next Monday, we only have one day left for the big release! GTA IV! I'm being a patient boy, and waiting for that special day. So what are you guys doing to prepare for the big release? Any marathons? Parties? ANYTHING?
Now to the NBA playoffs. As you may all know, I'm a huge Phoenix Suns fan, and I hope they go all the way. It'll be hard task, but after the grieving loss on Saturday against the Spurs, they still have a chance. C'mon guys, it's only Game 1. Now that the Suns have the defense to compete against the Spurs, it makes them a huge contender towards the Finals. Tomorrow is Game 2 of the series, and lets all hope the Suns win. If not, they have more chances. GO SUNS!
