    Going on vacattion

    man this sucks, I haven;t been on GS lately because of my sickness and I just got better two days ago. It was honestly the worst illness I have ever had, it might even be worse than the kidney stone I got at 7). Now I probably won't be on for at least two weeks because when I am on vacation I usually don't get on the computer as much. I might be able to get on a few times though. if any of you are wondering, I am going to St.Louis tomorrow to see my family. I will be gone for at least 1-2 weeks. Hopefully, we will go to a couple of cadinals games while there. Well i have to go pack now.

    I've been sick

    If any of you are wondering why I haven't been on lately, I have been really sick the past three days. I am starting to feel better though and hope to be active around tomorrow or Friday. I can't really write much more so goodbye.

    Level 21!

    Finally. I think I have been on 20 for over a year. I was at 97% when I went back to level 19 for some reason that remains unknown to me. But I am a Rescue Ranger (whatever that is) and I hope to never go back to level 20.

    Best Boss Battle in History

    I really want to write a blog about the best boss battles in videogames, but I just can't remember that many right now. The only ones that pop into my mind are the HAG 1, Bowser 64, Psycho Mantis, King Krool, Mike Tyson, Great Mighty Poo, Hydra, Ganondorf, and some RE4 bosses. I want you to tell me what you think are the best bosses. You can base them off of the hardest, the funnest, or the most memorable. Hopefully you guys give me enough good ones to make a whole blog out of.

    Motion Control Wars

    Well, this E3 Sony and Microsoft entered the motion control wars. Microsoft has it's high tech and fascinating Project Natal. Sony has that weird wand looking thing but Nintendo proved that weird can be good. Out of all three, Nintendo has nothing to worry about. Sony's is just like an expensive Wii-mote and who would pay for that when they can buy a Wii for a couple hundred less. And Microsoft's Natal is to good. It is like iToy but the games are so high tech, that it will take forever to produce the games and most games will be crappy due to rushed production. Also, many people already have Wiis and won't buy another console when they already have motion control. So the original motion control system (Wii) will probably remain king of the systems for quite a while. Many say that the other consoles are copying the Wii because of it's success. Shouldn't that alone be flattering and hint that it won't be as good?

    Wii HD

    Did anyone see this? I guess it is kind of like what the Game Boy Advanced was to the Game Boy Color. It is not an entirely new model and will come out in 2011(allegedly). I heard it will be almost the same except with better graphics and maybe a hardrive. People are calling it "Wii HD" but it is not the official name.Click the link above if you want to read more about it.

    My Prediction

    I have a strange prediction. It is kind of shocking (not really) and I hope it doesn't come true, but I have a feeling that the Conduit will suck. Just from what I saw, I wasn't wowed and didn't see anything amazing.

    Trying to go online

    I want to get online for my Wii and 360 but I don't feel like paying for Xbox Live, so I am just worrying about my Wii right now. I have a Wii and Computer, what else do I need to get or do? I think I need a wireless router but I don't feel like getting the Wii USB Connector because I can;t use it for My DS or 360. I hope to be online soon (within a month) and maybe play some of you.

    Also, I went camping and saw a bear!!!

    Pittsburgh is......

    the city of champions. This February, the Pittsburgh Steelers won the Superbowl with a last minute touchdown. And today, the Pittsburgh Penguins have won the Stanley Cup against the juggernaut Detroit Redwings. As some of you may know, the Pittsburgh Penguins have lost against the Redwings last year in the finals. And that dirty dog Marian Hossa left us went to Detroit with hopes of winning a Cup. It makes me feel soooooooooo good knowing that we beat them this year. It kind of reminds me of Wayne Gretzky's Edmonton Oilers. They lost to the Islanders but won against the Islanders the next year. Then they won three more in a row. Evgeni Malkin, the leading scorer in the regular season, was the leading scorer in the playoffs and won series MVP and League MVP. It is arguable to say that Malkin is better than Crosby and is the leader of the team.

    This series was nerveracking. We lost the first two games, but won the next two. Then we got shutout 5-0 to Detroit and the series was 3-2. It was sure we were done for. Then we barely won game 6 with Scuderi saving the puck 3 times with his skate and Fleury stopped it with his arms in the last seconds. That meant, to win the cup, we would have to win in Detroit in game 7. All the "experts" said we would lose this game but we won it, In Detroit, In Game 7. Max Talbot scored two goals (our only goals) and we won 2-1.I am sooooooo happy right now, this blog probably doesn't make any sense. But Pittsburgh Penguins are the champions and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.



    I am waking up at 6:30 tommorrow and going to Dick's Sporting Goods and getting the Stanley Cup Champions shirt and Hat. Also, I uploaded my school project video and got an emblem for it. I got 4 emblems this month (I still didn't get 2 from E3)

    Metroid Question

    I have Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, but I did not finish it yet. The only Prime game I beat was the first one. I was wondering if I should sell Corruption to get the Trilogy that is coming out in August. The only thing is, if I sell it now, and the Trilogy ends up being a crappy remake that's not that fun, I am stuck with it. The other problem is that if I want to be safe and don't sell Corruption, then the Trilogy turns out to be great, I won't be able to sell Corruption for that much because the Trilogy would have lowered its value. I have to choose one of these choices. Which one should I choose.

    I've been Having Nightmares

    It is kinda stupid, but last night I woke up 3 times in the middle of the night because of my dreams. All the dreams had to do with my report card. Theye are going to come in the mail but I didn't get mine yet. I keep having dreams that I get a bad grade. I know that I have an A in every course ecxept for three. I might have a B in two (probably not) but I have no clue about French. We did a report worth 250 points which is about half the grade. I think I may have plagarized because he uses this site that tells if you plagarize by seeing if words in a six word sequence matches any websites. And I used a direct quote from Victor Hugo and I think it might count that as plagarism even thought I qouted him. I keep having dreams that I fail tha tcourse and my high school career is ruined, I have such high expectations and straight As so far, I can't afford a bad grade. Also, there is a site online that shows me my grade but I don't know if I should view it or not because I am so nervouse. This just makes me paranoid and i think about it all day.

    I CANT TAKE IT ANY MORE!!!!

    E3 wishlist

    Everyone made one so I figured I will too. These are my top games of E3 (that I want);

    8. Donkey Kong vs Mario 3: Minis march again.

    The second game was great and this game may be a reason to buy the DSi, because you have to download from the DSi Ware, so I probably won't get it. But this game lets you build your own levels and share them with other people.

    7. Golden Sun DS

    I never played a Golden sun game but I heard great things about them and people are really excited for this game.

    6. The Conduit

    Well this game is supposed to be the "Halo" for the Wii but I don't think it will be that great. I'm still not sure that this game will live up to the hype but it has so much hype that I just have to be excited for it.

    5. Red Steel 2

    The first game sucked but I watched gameplay footage and, with the Motion+ packaged with it, it seems to have better control of the sword. Also, the design is completely different from the first one. I never played the first one because it was such a dissapointment to people, but this one looks 50 times better.

    4. No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle

    The first game was great but the graphics made my eyes bleed. I didn't see much footage of this game, but I hope they fixed that. The original NMH had a great story and even better villians, and you can expect the sequel to be even more creative.

    3. Super Mario Galaxy 2

    This one looks good, but looks to be a lot like the first one, which isn't bad. They put Yoshi in but I was expecting something completely new.

    2. New Super Mario Bros. Wii- At first look, I thought this game looked stupid and that it would be easy enough to play without 4 players and the 4 players would get in the way. But after watching the interview on GS, it looked like a lot of fun and the levels looked really hard which means I actually might need a friends help.

    1. Metroid: Other M

    I think that the Prime trilogy series was great and can't be beaten, but this game looks to be great and take us back to Samus's Side scrolling days. Plus, team Ninja helped make this game and they are known to make some badass games.

    Zelda Wii

    Concept art for next Legends of Zelda Wii game

    You have all probably seen this already. It is the ONE peice of concept art that Miyamoto showed in his press conference at E3. It obviously has something to do with the new Zelda coming out for the Wii in 2010. Link is said to be older than in TP. To me, it looks like a direct sequel of Twilight Princess, but I could be wrong.

    As you can see, there is no sword in Link's right hand. This lead me, and many others, to speculate that the person is an incarnation of the Master Sword. I think that the person will be like Midna, and act as a portal to other realms or worlds. I also think that the person will be able to transform from the master sword in your hand, to a fighting allie that will help defeat enemies with its magic power. But, I will probably be completely wrong. What do you guys think about this picture?

    Is Space the Final Fronteir?

    I was just thinking to myself "Mario in space....how freakin cool is that? What can be better than mario on space? Mario in space on a dinosaur you say? That is amazing?" If you don't get what I'm getting at, it's that the new Mario games are in space. Besides the original series and the paper series, I can't think of many direct sequels to Mario games that are alike. What is Nintendo going to do to Mario after Super Mario Galaxy 2? How can they beat MARIO IN SPACE!?!?! I don't think it is possible. Anything is possible in space. Almost anything was possible in the regular old mushroom kingdom, but when they mixed Mario with Space, everything WAS possible. Are they just going to keep updating the Galaxy series? Are we going to be playing Super Mario Galaxy 6 in nine years? I can;t think of a way to make the Mario series more mind blowingg, but I'm sure Miyamoto and the geniuses at Nintendo can and will.

    I honestly don't know what they can do to surpass Mario in freakin outerspace. Can you think of anything? If you can I will title you SUPER AWESOME.

    My 1st Youtube Video!!!

    Well, I told you that I was making a video for my school. I went with the Cloverfield spoof, but I didn't have time to make any more. The movie is not that great, in fact it is terrible, but if you went to our school and knew us it would probably be funnier. Please watch this because my other friend who also is in the video also posted it and we are trying to see who can get more views. HELP ME WIN!!Also, there is a video game reference in it. See if you can find it (it's easy to find). I won't tell you who I am but try to guess.

    Also, today was my best day in a while. School ended today which I am actually sad about, high school is fun. But I am pretty sure I got straight As which means I am (probably) ranked 3rd in my grade. Also, I went to buy new shoes today and when I went there they were on sale for $30 cheaper. Also, while at the shoe store I was looking at baseball hats for $5 dollars and I like the St. Louis Cardinals and the guy next to me just so happened to be the coach of their frontier league team and they are playing Pittsburgh's frontier team and he gave me really good tickets for free.

    Also, Mr. Sandman is REALLY REALLY hard. He is 100 times harder than Super Macho Man.

    Nintendo Conference= Awesome

    Well, it just so happens that I got "sick" today so I could not go to school. I got the chance to watch Nintendo's and it was great. At first they were talking about how fun games are and how nintendo are the best and stuff like that. Then they started talking about stupid games like Wii Sports resort and Wii Fit plus. I thought, oh no, its a repeat of last year. Then things started to change when they announced one of many mario games; New Super Mario Bros. Wii. You can play this game with 4 players and there are new features and power-ups. Overall this game looks okay, it is coming out this holiday, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get it. Then they started to talk about DS games. There were some great DS games announced. They showed the new Mario Bros RPG, Wario Ware; DIY, Mario vs Donket Kong 3, Zelda; Spirit Tracks, and Golden Sun.

    Then I thought it was about to be over and the Wii was done with when they started talking about hardcore games and mentioned the conduit, Deadspace Extraction, Final Fantasy, Kingdom of hearts, and resident evil. Then I was 100% sure that it was over, but I was wrong. The next 7 minutes were the best 7 minutes I have seen for a while. Out of nowhere, mario came back and it was SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2. This looked better than the first one and is coming out in 2010. Then I was 110% sure it was over and then another trailer came on. I had no idea what it was. It said Team Ninja + Nintendo. Then it turned out to be a new Metroid game called Metroid: The other M. It is not part of the prime series but it looks better than the prime series.

    Overall, Nintendo's was pretty good. WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY better than last year. I also want to mention that No More Heroes 2 was "confirmed" last night at i think it was EA's conference. Check out the 2 trailers,it looks amazing. Better than the first and ,I think, looks better than the new Metroid.And I got the Microsoft emblem but I wasn't able to watch Nintendo's on GS because it said I needed to be 17. Why?? That doesn't make any sense. But I just watched it on G4 and kept the empty screen on all conference, maybe I can still get that emblem. If not i will be mad.

    Microsoft's Press Conference

    I'm not going to say much, but it was pretty awesome. There were great games like Halo: Reach, Left 4 Dead 2, Metal Gear Solid Rising, Crackdown 2, Halo 3: ODST, and some weird project Natal thing that I didn't really like. But overall, it was impressive and Nintendo and Sony better bring it tomorrow.

    I got the E3 blues

    I'm actually bummed about this years E3. The main reason is because all of the conferences happen Tuesday at like 10AM. I'm at school on Tuesday at 10AM, so I will miss the conferences and most of the other E3 stuff. Why couldn't they wait another week? I get out of school friday, why couldn't they just do it then? I was planning on watching it live and getting some new emblems because I haven't gotten any new ones in over a year. This sucks.

    Doesanyone know if I can watch the conferences and other E3 footage on Gamespot AFTER it happened?

    Punch Out!!

    Yesterday, I just got Punch Out!! for the Wii. So far it s pretty fun, but it starts off way to easy. The motion controls work suprisingly well. I like the cl@ssic characters but I wish they would have added new ones. I would recomend it to any Wii owner or any Punch Out fan. Well, I'm sorry to cut this blog short but I'm about to have a Mac Attack!!!!!!!!

    E3 Anyone?

    I cant believe that I am hearing barely anything about E3. It is just 6 days away (i think). I remember last year people were talking about it a month before it started. Here at GS this year, I think I saw only 3 blogs about it. I think it's mostly because so many things weren't leaked this year with the exception of the Modern Warfare 2 trailer, I think they should have waited til E3 to reveal that. Also, last year at E3 we only heared about games that were already announced but this year theres not as much announced games.

    What do you think will happen at this years E3? I think there will be at least one new console announced.

    Also, Live on G4 Steve Weibe (from King of Kong) will try to reclaim his Donkey Kong title. I personally don't think he will do it, but I hope he does.
