    There and back again.

Well a summer has come and gone, as just about all of you know I've been staying in Ohio working over the summer to try and make alittle extra cash on the side with my construction crew having all but stopped buisness completely.

About a month ago I got a call from the contractor I had been working for saying that he had another job that would keep me busy for a few weeks coming this October so I jumped on it. In short the point of this blog is to say I'm heading home tomorrow morning and that means slow ass internet once again. I might be alittle scarce around these parts until I get settled back in, but once I do I'd like to start maybe a real blog, seems I mostly just post random whatever-the-hell I want subjects which will probably still happen from time to time. But I'd like to start a series on something, just not exactly sure what quite yet.

If you have any thoughts on the matter speak up.

    Name That Movie

I'm bored so now you must suffer.

I'll give you ten of my favorite lines from ten different movies, you name the movie and get some extra credit if you can throw in which character. If they're not all guessed I'll throw up the answers in another blog later in the week.

10: I aint gonna kill him. I'm just gonna take a foot off him, a man can work with one foot.

9: Now your looking for the secret. But you wont find it because of course, your not really looking. You dont really want to work it out. You want to be fooled.

8: I've been called alot of things, Colonel, Never a solution.

7: Envy the country that has heroes, huh? I say pity the country that needs em.

6: Why would he do that? Because he's a lummox isnt he? Well then, we shall have a magnificent garden party and your not invited!

5: I once fought for two days with an arrow through my tes***le

4: Basic Principles: No woman wakes up saying "God I hope I dont get swept off my feet today" now she might say "this is a really bad time for me" or something like "I just need some space" or my personal favorite "I'm really into my career right now" You believe that? Neither does she. You know why? Cause she's lying to you, thats why. You understand me? Lying.

3: Morgan, this whole crop stuff is just about a bunch of nerds who never had a girlfriend their whole lives. they're like 30 now. They make up secret codes and analyze Greek mythology and make secret societies where other guys who never had girlfriends could join in. They do stupid crap like this to feel special, ners were doin it 25 years ago and new nerds are doin it again.

    2:Give me a scotch! I'm starving.

1: You must become more than just a man in the mind of your opponent.

A few of them are pretty easy, a couple I dont really expect anyone to get.

    Some stuff about stuff.

Alright, I realize I came late to this whole thing but I finally saw Watchmen and I need to rant.

Its an odd feeling I have for this movie, it seems like anyone else with my tastes would have hated it, but on the other hand I'll give props to any movie that makes me emotionally invested in the characters be it love or hate. If you can make me care, whether I like the person or not, it seems your doing something right in the way of character development, but half way throught the movie I found myself absolutely loathing all the "good guys" that your supposed to be rooting for in any other cliched superhero story. Night Owl 2 needed to have his teeth kicked in, he annoyed me to no end with his constant whining, and silk spectre 2 was an absolute slut, which was one of the down points in the movie I thought, the sex scenes were so ridiculously drawn out and often I wanna know how many blue pills were handed out on set, seemed like she couldnt go 30 minutes without throwing down atleast once. Dr. Manhattan...oh how I hate him...In one breathe he's going on and on about how he's so misunderstood, no one understands what its like to be him, I felt like handing him a noose and offering to help him string-up, then 5 minutes later he's saying how sick he is of humanity and that he's going to give us all the greatest gift imaginable and leave...BUT then he comes back, sucks to be us huh? The Comedian, the darkest of all the heroes was one I didnt hate, go figure, he killed women and children, attempted to rape Silk Spectre, and shot a pregnant woman. seems to be the one you need hate but yet, he's the only one who doesnt try to make a facade that he's some greater than thou hero, he knows he's screwed up and he knows nothings gonna change. Rorchache...Now here was the one character I both liked, and, I dont wanna say related to, maybe understood is the best way to put it, He was absolutely ruthless, basically a sociopath, but he was my favorite. He saw the worst in humanity and basically hated the whole race, but he protected it anyway, never once did he regret anything he did and not once did he question his instincts, on top of all that, he stayed loyal to his one and only friend who seemed to always turn on him whenever push came to shove.

One of my favorite lines: Rorschach's Journal, October 12th, 1985. Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire track on burst stomach. this city is afraid of me, I've seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politician will look and and shout "Save us!"...and I'll whisper "no".

Also saw that Peter Molyneux announced Fable 3, I have mixed reactions, I rather enjoyed the first two but ever since this Natal nonsense came around I've been leary of those traitors. My thoughts are that they need to let Lionhead's dev team do what they do best and make games, they need to give Petey a coloring book and sit him in the corner to continue stalking virtual adolescent young males.
