  Strawberry Candy | 2009 Year in Review

  So last year, I posted a blog (2008 year in review) to list all the anime/games I bought. Felt like doing it again so here goes. I managed to spend less than the year before:

  In my other blog I said, "The only games I plan to get next year are No More Heroes 2 and Final Fantasy XIII." Funny how neither of those got released and the only new (released this year) game I got was BlazBlue - an unexpected title. Also didn't expect to get a PS2, but that helped me get through this quality gaming drought.

  Anime was pretty weak this year in terms of North American releases. Even though Funimation went into 2009 after 7 days of continuous license announcements, and continued to obtain licenses throughout the year, none were absolute buys aside from Samurai Champloo.

  hehe, now to make my prediction on what I'll buy in 2010:
  -Final Fantasy XIII (now in 2010 for sure)
  -No More Heroes 2 (same to you)
  -Zelda Wii (hopefully?)
  -Tales of Graces (if there is a NA release)

  Oh and level up, I'm 50 - Strawberry Candy ^^

  captain wa-haha brings gifts

  Woo! So my birthday just passed for those who don't know, but I got the Sky Crawlers DVD and Audio Technica ATH-ES7 headphones. Here are two pictures:

  

  

  I'm likin em so far ^^ The side mirrors are real nice looking, but they get fingerprints easily so I'm doing my best not to touch em hehe. The headphones came with a nice cotton case, and a cloth to wipe out any fingerprints if it does happen.

  In other news... the Anime Cafe is just 2-3 members away from 200, so.... *cough* ^_^

  (oh and this time, the blog title is a reference to Saki which I just finished)
