PS3 > Everything else
I bought a Playstation 3 about a year ago and I love it more and more everyday. For a while It was primarily a gaming system, I shot things and they shot back, nothing too fancy. Then I got the internet (I worked a terrible job and couldnt afford it for a while), and a whole new world of Games and Movies opened up. That was awesome, but when I got my new TV it got riddiculous, everything looked amazing in full 1080p. But just the other day I got bored and decided to set up a media server for our apartment (our neighbours have one set up and let us use it if we set upour own and let them use it). Shortly after setting it up an new icon appeared on the PS3 and now I have access to all 200 or so gigs of Music and Movies on my computer. This is freaking unbelievable how much more awesome it makes the PS3. The funny thing is I realized the Microsoft created a game console and Sony made a computer. Hows that for a switcharound.

Viva la Interwebs
I have finally gotten those glorious series of tubes back into my home, my internet has returned. I can once again shoot Nazis, Japs, Russians and Americans in Call of Duty World at War. As well as download the plethera of demos and movies off the PSN. This might not be a big deal for you but (as my friend put it) I will forever remember the last two months as 'that period of time in which I had no internet.' and i really hope it will never happen again.

The world is coming to an end.
I moved about 2 months ago and decided not to get television (saves me about 60$ as month)And have not been able to watch any new shows or (more importantly) the news. I was quite happy without TV and I just realized how happy I was not watching the news. I switched to CNN at work and within 5 minutes it appeared the world was going to end. Iran is shooting protesters in reaction to the elections, this has been happening for about 2 weeks apparently. Then North Korea is threatening to Nuke us again, and just today two trains collided in DC. What the hell, the news is a scary thing, they exaggerate everything to an insane degree. Are they trying to scare the crap out of all those watching, not to mention the non-stop Obama sucks comments by all newscasters. It seems that in this day and age the Liberal media has died, and we are left with the conservative fear mongering media. Even now as I type this some jackass on CNN is talking crap about Obamas plan to get people to stop smoking. Yes he does smoke, but it is not "Breaking News" that this makes him a bit of ahypocrite. CNN seems to pander to the small amount of hardcore baby eating, puppy kicking, republicans left. Can someone please give us a Fair and Balanced news channel. I am shutting off the TV and going back to my happy ignorant news free life. Ignorance is truly bliss.
Also a nquick note to Gamespot.com : Please make your spell check recognize Barrack Obama as a corectly spelled word.
