Glenn Rubenstein's GameSpot Blog
Glenn Rubenstein is semi-retired from reviewing video games. I'm not sure what semi-retired means, but I think it's kind of how Jay-Z retired, which means that I'd totally come back to it in a pinch. LOL.
But that being said, I really enjoy playing Rock Band and I still play MAME games a lot on my modded Xbox.

Hi! I'm Glenn Rubenstein - a former GameSpot and CNET Editor. I guess I'm now a recovering games journalist of sorts. These days, I'm a writer and director of online video series...and most of the game-relate stuff I do involves Alternate Reality Games, which is kind of like a video game, if it seemed more...real. I'm the creator of REDEARTH88 and OpAphid and I was also a lonelygirl15 writer-director.
I was actually the first editor hired specifically for the console side of GameSpot - the console section was launched originally as VideoGameSpot. Of anything I accomplished, I guess I should probably take credit for bringing both Ryan MacDonald and Jeff Gerstmann into the GameSpot empire! They both continued on well beyond the year or so I was with the site. Plus, Jeff and I were in the band Headboard, which is where we met Alex Navarro, proving just how a small a world it is.
Anyhow, it's definitely a trip to see how much the site has evolved since 1996 or so. I visit semi-regularly, but figured I'd finally sign up for an account! Oh, and if you search "Glenn Rubenstein" and GameSpot via Google, you can see some of my old reviews (which are a real trip to read, let me tell you).
These days, I'm playing mostly Rock Band. And I still hook up my modded Xbox to get some MAME action with 720 and Paperboy.
