SO my summer is just me staying in New Orleans and working in a local coffee shop. It's been nice so far. My rent is a little steep but the money I"m making offsets that! Big Big Smiles there. THe only downside is that I have to go to coffee shops to use the internet now because the house I'm renting does not have internet. C'est la vie.

SO I have a question. Is an international airdate really relevant? I don't really feel it is. I'm sorry but it just doesn't add anything to the guide in my opinion... So do I have to accept it? I am not sure.. and I thought I might ask here.

Everyone should go see Speed Racer the movie. I saw it and it was enertaining as well a movie sshould be. Yes the visual style is different but that's most of the fun! It's a nice little movie.

Hmm I don't know what else to say. I suppose that's all. I'm ready for Burn Notice, Monk, and Psych to be back. I'm also interested in watching the ABC Family original show Middle Man it looks like it could be fun.

I am officially a Whedonhead or whatever fans of Whedon call themselves.. because Whedonhead is far far too creepy.

About two months ago, I watched the entire series of Firefly in about 2 1/2 weeks while going to school and working... It was that addicting.. I loved it, and I then watched the movie when I found a 2 hour block.. Again amazing! I have recently started watching Buffy again.. I watched most of the series when it originally aired, minus the episodes after it moved to UPN. Everyone remember UPN? Man that was a while ago... lol. Buffy is quite amazing, I really had forgotten that. I mean it was just a greatshow.. I'm glad I got the idea to rewatch it...

and I suppose once I get to the point in the show where Angel spins off on his own I'll start to work on that show.. It's just ridiculous how amazing these shows can be.. I mean I kind of figured I wouldn't like them now that I have quote unquote grown up but amazingly I think I love them more.. I'm currently on the 3rd season of Buffy.

I don't know if any of you have ever heard (read seen) me refer to myself as a "comic book nerd who doesn't read comics" but I have really gotten into comics as of late. I've read almost all of Ultimate Spiderman.. I've read everything that has been published in book form, I have read almost all of Ultimate X-men I'm missing couple of books.. I started on the new Blue Beetle last night, and I recently read Identity Crisis which is a great book. So now that I have proved my full decension in to nerdness.. I'll stop!

I need to make a recommendation of a book that I am reading right now. This is for everyone who enjoys superheroes in any form. It is a book called Devil's Cape. It's set in a fictional city across the lake from New Orleans (which is where I am currently residing) but in this universe superheros and villians exist and in fact have played a role in history creating their own cities. It's pretty awesome so far, and I think everyone should pick up a copy if they get chance.

Its really good to see you once again

SO... It's been a year since I wrote blog, I figured today was a good a day as any to write another... lol

So let's see what's been going on in my life? I'm back in school and working. So that's probably the main reason I haven't been around in the capacity I used to be. I'm still on here at least every other day or so.. Looking up Trivia and quotes usually and checking my mod queue. I lost a guide recently so I don't get as many submissions.

Hmm So let's see what TV have I been watching since the last time I updated? Well this summer I really got into Burn Notice on USA. When it comes out on DVD I recommend the show to anyone who likes the spy genre to any degree.. Well unless you're just a Bond fan, this probably won't interest you.

Then let's see.. This fall, I watched Bionic Woman (i'm a little ticked that it won't be coming back.. but ce la vie, especially after the writers strike.) Reaper (which is awesome, and I'm really hoping it gets renewed soon, it was doing really well pre-strike, I would hate for this show to be a casualty.) The Big Bang Theory (This show is fantastic... I love it, especially the geek in me..) I've also been keeping up with the old favorites... There are some shows that I plan to watch on DVD but with my schedule I just wasn't able to watch them as they aired... As of now, I have yet to actually watch a ONe tree Hill from this season, I"ve recorded them all and I will watch them eventually because I reallly need to know what's happened in their lives over 4 years.. lol.

Some shows I've gotten into recently... The Office (I watched the entire series over the past couple of months, it's hilarious and i'm a little uncertain why no one has told me that I must watch this before this summer), House (Dear god, House is my hero.. I've only seen seasons 1&2 and a couple from season 4), and I've been watching Buffy because I watched it when it originally aired up until it left the WB and I've always wanted to rewatch the series to see if it was as good as I remember it.

Well that's it for now.. Hopefully it won't be a year before I'm back here again.

No this blog is not about High School Musical. If this disappoints you, please leave my blog.

So I've been working, reading and watching movies. It's a good time, I really hate this part of the year because all my shows are on break for weeks, or can't make up their minds if they want to show new episodes or reruns.. It makes it hard to keep up with when you don't want to waste recording space on Reruns.

I watched Criminal Intent and SVU last night for this first time since last year. They were okay, but that's the problem, they're just "okay". I'm not impressed like I used to be.

I got a free copy of the movie Fifty Pills a few days ago and watched it yesterday. Everyone should check it out if you love teenage romp comedy. It was good times. Kristen Bell is hot as always, and Eddie Kaye Thomas is hilarious! Granted both are simply supporting characters but the movie is still great.

Now why is my blog entitled remix edition, you may be wondering, or perhaps by this point you've forgotten and are now curious again because I brought it up... Well your answer lies in the next sentence... I've been downloading some rather strange remixes off the internet.

I love Amy Winehouse. While searching to found out if the new CD that is the same price with different album art is a different CD or just a change in packaging, I found a website that calls her terrible. I was shocked and appalled. This girl has a great voice, even if you don't dig her st y l e she has a great voice. It's very Motown-ish. It's great, but back to my story, the blog called her terrible but apparently some DJ named Hot Chip has remixed her single "Rehab". While I don't think I like the song as much in the remix, I will give the DJ his props it's interesting and fun. Feel free to stream the music from this site Here. you can also listen to "You Kow I'm No Good" featuring Ghostface Killa which is a hidden track on the album.

So there is also another strange and weird remix that I came across today.. It's Fall Out Boy's song "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" remixed by none other than the college dropout himself- Kanye West. It's pretty interesting. I think I like the original better but this definitely gives a new feel to Mr. Stump's emotional voice... he would do good to volunteer himself to be featured on an R&B album. You can make your own decision about the song Here.

So now for the featured Recommendation of the blog:

"But Gilmoreism didn't you just make two recommendations?"

Good Question.. No I didn't, I simply mentioned a few things that I've seen or heard lately, I gave you no reason to why you should go out and get it which is really what recommending is all about.

I am going to recommend a really good movie: The Boondock Saints. It's a great movie about two Irish brothers who accidentally become righteous hit men. It's an interesting twist on your standard Mafia movie. The brother's relationship is a bit homoerotic but nonetheless It's a great little movie. You have Sean Patrick Flannery, Willem Dafoe, and how could I forget the hardest (working) man in show business- Ron Jeremy! Be warned there is lots of language in this movie. It's a great action movie with a message.

With that I leave you with a prayer.

    And shepherds we shall be
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be
In nomine Patri, et Filii, et Spiriti Sancti

See the movie and the prayer will make sense.. lol.

So it's been a while again... I apologize for the Fall Out Boy blog title, but It's an anthem at work. My supervisor is crazy obsessed with Patrick Stump which means that we listen to lots of Fall Out Boy after hours. We usually close to Infinity on High. I don't mind. I actually like Fall Out Boy. I'm not ashamed to admit that I like pop music.....

Which brings us to the purpose of this blog. I'm bringing you a new feature.. It's Gilmoreism Recommends! I will post at least one blog a week with either a movie, CD, or book you should check out. I'm required to do stuff like this for work all the time and I don't really have a problem with it I actually enjoy it...

So what shall I choose for my first recommend? It's a duo! It's a book and a movie. There is a reason they are together...

The Movie is Bubba Ho-Tep. It stars Bruce Campbell as an old Elvis/ Elvis impersonator. He is in a rest home in the country in Texas. A Mummy is sucking the souls of the residents. The fact that it stars Bruce Campbell should tell you that this movie is beautifully B.. It's got some great lines. It's funny and fun.

My second recommend is Make Love!* *The Bruce Campbell Way but none other than the best movie actor ever.. As... Bruce Campbell. (I was typing Ash just for the people who didn't get that... if you don't know who Ash is... Please kill yourself, and then go immediately to rent Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness. Please don't really kill yourself, because you haven't really lived if you haven't seen at least Army of Darkness.)[Wow that aside was really really long wasn't it? I've got to watch that, I mean if this were a speech c la ss people would be yelling digression left and right, but I mean I guess I didn't really know what I wanted to talk about until I started typing and what I was typing wasn't all that interesting so I found something more interesting in my head.... A cookie to anyone who understands my second digression] This book is hilarious. I've read half of it, and it's already great. I plan on picking up his memoirs next If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Star. It's a quick read and delightfully witty..

So those are my recommends for the blog... I have a CD lined up that I think everyone who is a Motown music should be here to read. It's a great new CD that everyone should have a listen too... but more about that later....

So my job is going all right. I'm getting stiffed on hours but usually there are people who want a day off and my workaholic self is there to pick up the slack. I enjoy going to work. Is that strange?

So Heroes break is killing me I want to see the ending dang it!

I've pretty much dropped SVU and CI as the last few episodes just couldn't hold my interest at all... I'll probably see them eventually on USA but maybe not we'll see...

    I'm sad that The C L A S S will probably not be returning...

    Now I'm depressed lol....

I'm gonna go read some Atlas Shrugged and pass out.

Well I've been not blogging because I've had nothing to say. That changed after I worked last night. I'm gonna go off on a semi-political rant here.. I'm gonna put it in spoilers so if you don't want to read it, don't. I'll be upfront, I'm a liberal. Especially when it comes to social issues. This rant is about one of those social issues.. It's about the big A-word...and a few other things so if you don't want to read a liberal's take, don't read!

    ***SPOILER***

Well that was long and if you've read that and are still with me, I apologize.

Anything going on in TV land that I need to talk about?

Heroes is on break and it's killing me beause I want to see the final chapters already.. Darn you NBC!!!

I have officially cut out SVU and CI from my watching Habits. They just weren't interesting anymore. You may disagree and that's fine but I don't find them intriguing. I will occasionally watch CI but SVU is pretty much done for me. I just couldn't get back into it after Olivia was back.

So I think I'm going to borrow Firefly from someone at work, because they all love it, and I think I should finally see what allthe rage is about. After that I'm not sure what my next move is...

I have been watching Invader Zim a lot recently such a great show. I never watched it on the air, but it is quite enjoyable. I've also been watching reruns of things like Rocko's Modern Life and a lot of Nick GAS! All the ****cs.. Legend of the Hidden Temple is my favorite..

    Well that's all I've got..

    word to your mother!

So It finally happened... I was tagged..

    So 7 things... Interesting....

    1. I play guitar.
    2. I love blues music.
    3. I've beaten every Zelda game I've ever played at least twice... (and in case you're wondering, yes I put it this on the third in reference to the Triforce!!)
    4. When I was younger, I heard voices in my head.
    5. I'm a bibliophile.
    6. My IQ was measured at above 200 when I was 13.
    7. I hate bannanas. The texture makes me nautious.

So that was fun. I'm not tagging anyone because I'm like the fat kid, I'm not gonna catch anyone.. lol. Feel free to have pity on me and volunteer to be it, and I'll post a  blog directing people to your 7 facts.

I blogged earlier than predicted. So how has everyone been? I've been discouraged from submitting by the lack of consistency in levels. Every time I seem to finally decide to submit is the day levels don't run. I'm sorry guys it's my fault!

I'm still addicted to many of the same shows. Heroes is the one show I refuse to get behind on. I work until at least 11PM on Monday nights but I will watch H's first thing on Tuesday mornings, I don't even bother getting dressed, I grab my comforter off the bed and go lay on the couch and watch it..

I'm eagerly awaiting news on the 2nd Season of Dexter. We had a false alarm a few days ago, someone thought that it would be on again in April, when in fact the show would be returning to production. I was scared. Dexter would have been horrible if it came that quickly.

So that's all I've got for now. Peace out my friends.
  • 20Feb 07
So I was going to make a blog post yesterday but then I noticed if I waited until today so that it would be exactly a month. I thought that was funny based on the last title..

I'm finally a Whammy. I'm discouraged from submitting because of the lack of consistency in the level updates.. Everytime I do submit I don't get the update. I do still submit, and I'm really working on getting a couple of editorships but I'm slow going because I have to watch Episodes on youtube.. lol...

I've been keeping up with a few of my shows, but I'm about a week behind on most, with the exception of Gilmore Girls and Heroes.

I don't really have anything else to say. I hope you guys have been staying cool. I've been reading your blogs so I nothing too major has happened.

    Peace out Peoples!

So I've officially become a lurker on TV.com. I am on here every day just about, but I don't get around to commenting, I read, I send a few messages and that's a wrap for my time at TV.com... So if you feel like you don't have enough Gilmoreism in your life, drop me a private message and let me know, and i'll be sure to make comments on your blog if I read it.

So what has happened? I've seen a lot of TV, I've seen a lot of Movies. So for Christmas, I bought with some Gift Cards the first two seasons of Veronica Mars. I'm in love. I had never seen the show before, but it's fantastical. I bought it on a recommendation froma  friend. I also bought Pretty in Pink, Reservoir Dogs, and a few CDs... One of which is the Misfits CD Famous Monsters, which I highly recommend if you like hardcore music with a melodic voice.. and twisted lyrics. It's a great CD. I've read some books since I've been on here.I won't go inot all the gory details....

So I miss here, but I'm enjoying working. The money isn't the best, but I love my job. It's so great working in a book store... I've started my applications for 2 colleges but I really just want to get into one, and go there.. I have my reasons....

So I think this update does it, I'm not sure when the next update will be but it will be less than a month, I promise....

I'm gonna start this off by telling you I'm not going to give the answer to the teaser from last time because I forgot to look it up before I started writing this, so It'll have to wait until next time lol...

So I've been in the Community Spotlight for a while. I have only had 1 or 2 people start tracking me since I got there. It seems strange, it seems like it always cause mass flooding on others..

The site has been a little glitchy but not too bad. I've been enjoying working, I'm still on the site and I still go to my show forums, but I haven't been reading many blogs. Or at least not commenting on them.

Christmas is getting near. Everyone who celebrates ready?

I'm ready for it to be over.. Work is busy, and I'm ready for it to slow a bit.. lol.

So TV that I haven't updated on.. and I have something fun to say:

    Dexter!
    ***SPOILER***

So there was another example of someone thinking I was a female based on my name recently.. Lol. I love it.

    Leave comments people!

So I'm in the community spotlight.. I wasn't gonna blog because I got a WSoD but I decided that the Community Spotlight warrants a blog.

So my new job is going fantastically. It's tiring but I like the environment. I enjoy the people I work with. The lack of training doesn't seem to be much of a problem, there's always someone available that can explain it. So it's all good..

So I figured I'd take this opportunity to talk about my TV Habits and use the new spoiler tag!

    So Dexter:
    ***SPOILER***

    Heroes:
    ***SPOILER***

    Gilmore Girls
    ***SPOILER***

    So Good times...

So congrats to bluvs, Miss_box, sassy_eggs, and xblvr for getting the answer right. The answer to the teaser was: You give 9 of the kids their shoes, then put the tenth pair in a box and give the box to the 10th kid easy as pie.

    So Today's teaser:
Fred had just started work in Hotel Plush and was dealing with a demanding but important guest. "Pour my coffee, boy! I want exactly 200ml coffee to which you will add enough full cream milk to make it 20% milk. Do it correctly and you may go about your other duties, get it wrong and I will call the manager," screeched the darling lady.

It was all Fred could do to stop his hands from trembling as he started to pour the coffee. He poured 200ml into the measuring jug, (he keeps one about his person at all times for such eventualities), then started to think about the milk. 20% of 200ml is 40ml but if he poured 40ml in, the volume would be 240ml, so it wouldn't be 20% milk any more. How much milk should he add?

Good luck, and send your answer in a PM and leave lots of comments.

P.S. Since there will be new people stopping by. You should go check out Child's Play It's a charity about giving games to kids in hospitals who need them!
  • 4Dec 06
It's been a while since I update. I promise it's not because I haven't been around, I have just not felt like blogging. But I figure a new level and a new guide warrants a blog post.

So the new level of cours came about because I got the new guide.. I am now a Blues Brother.. I'm somewhere between Jake and Elwood. I'm not skinny but I'm not fat. I belong in the band. lol. I have always wanted a 70's police car to drive around. I would totally spray paint "The Bluesmobile" on the side. Anyone know where I could buy one for cheap? lol.

The new guide that I got is an 80's cartoon series. I was looking at an online archive of cartoons and was looking for something else, but then I just bookmarked the site and started browsing, I came across a show that I've only seen a few episodes of, but I do have a few of the Tonka toys! Challenge of the Go-Bots. I got the guide because the archive has the original airdates which were missing from the guide. My subs only pended for a couple of days which is awesome. I need to finish up adding all of the air dates for the show because it's some good points. I don't expect I'll see many subs on the show since it doesn't rerun on any channels and it's not out on DVD as far as I know. Which is sad cuz I'd buy it to fill out the guide.

Hmm so Should I blog about any of the TV I have watched since last time, I don't really feel like it, so I promise a special blog just about my TV habits for my loyal fans... lol.. I'll get to try out the new Spoiler tag...

So no one really took a swing at the teaser last time. Bluvs and Xblvr got the answer: Red Rock The hints directed you to the letters R E D.

    So new teaser
A very mean king went to a nearby village. He wanted some more slaves to serve him at his royal palace. He decided that if any family in the village had more than five children, he would take them. A cobbler and his wife had ten children. When the king came to take them, the cobbler and his wife begged and begged. Finally the king said, "I see that you have ten pairs of shoes in a box. If you can give each of your children a pair and still leave one pair out of ten in the box, you can keep your children. The cobbler and his wife began to smile at each other. How did they keep all of their children?

Leave lots of Comments. Send your answer in a PM! Good luck!

So this is my only day off this week. I planned on enjoying it by not puttin on anymore clothes than I sleep in, which I'll leave you up to decide if I sleep in pajamas, underwears, or nothing at all. However, there seem to be quite a few people here. I think they are working on the house.. which means when I finally leave my room I'm going to have to get dressed...

So I should have written a blog yesterday afternoon, but as most of you are awares, the site's blog stuff wasn't working yesterday afternoon, yes it came back in the evening, but by then I didn't feel like writing out a blog.

So the blogs disappeared, which made a lot of posts disappear, because you get forum posts for commenting on others' blogs. I didn't think that number would be as high for me as it was. My forum count went down to the 800's. That's crazy to me, I guess I blop (correct word, I don't really keep up) more than I realized.

SO I gained a new editorship today. Undressed. The staff had to process many of my subs from this queue. All I was doing was editing what was wrong with it. It was obvious that no one had touched it since TV-Tome Days.So I went through and spent lots of time formatting it... I reported him MIA a week ago and he hasn't been online since oct.. So They finally retired him. Now if somehow MTV would decide to put it on DVD, I could really beef up the guide..

I don't really want to lay out TV... I still haven't watched all of CSI Miami from Monday.... so I'm just going to give you my general opinion of each episode since Tuesday...

    *****Possible Spoilers*****
GG- Meh , more laughs than normal this season, but I still don't like the storyline, well except Luke, it's about time he stood up to Anna.
    CI- WTF? Worst. Episode. Ever.
SVU- She's back, but I still want more Munch and Finn....
America's Next Top Model- I disagree that the final two should have been Caridee and the twin. It should have been Twin and Eugena with Twin going home.
OTH- Well Lucas is "Dead" we'll see. Keith is back, hooray. Dan finally did something good... He's gonna take the blame for Nate. I still want to know who knows about Dan and if they will come forward now...
CSI:NY- I missed the first episode with Furlong, so I was a bit confused. It was an excellent episode though. I really wish I hadn't missed the first few episodes last fall.

    ****End Spoilers****

So going over this reminded me of something.. Last Fall while I was in school Cox Cable was in some sort of fight with CBS.. so that meant that I missed quite a few episodes of the CSI's. It was upsetting because up until then, the only episodes that I had not seen on their original air dates were episodes from the first couple of seasons of CSI, which I just didn't watch because I was stupid I guess.. lol Actually I had just never heard of it, but I watched some Reruns on spike (or maybe CBS, I'm not sure) and I was hooked.. I started watching Miami the season it debuted. and the same with NY.. But I had pretty much forgotten this hurt. SO this means I missed the episode where Aiden was fired and such... I missed a lot.

So Congratulations to FlyingHellfish, MRN71, bluvs, Im2Crazy, KFCGravy, and xblvr. The answer was Door D.

    and now for today's!

The wind eased itself gently through Captain Sheba's hair as he pressed
his eye against his spy glass. "Land! At last we are rich!" he shouted
to his crew members. They anchored not very far away from the strange little island, rowed toward the shore and arrived safely. "Brethren,
we've found the island. From the information we have so far, the
treasure is hidden under one of these colored rocks on the shore and
the rest of the rocks have a poisonous gas trapped beneath them. Alas,
I can't afford to lose any of my crew members. If we could only decode
the last part of these writings, we would know which rock the treasure
is under. I will give ten percent of the find to anyone who is able to
    decode this last message!"

At the end of your power
    At the beginning of eternity
Blessed is he who finds me
He who still exists after uncovering me
    To enjoy my riches forever
My last is in mud somewhere wherever

That's all the writings say. There are four rocks. They are blue, red,
white, and black respectively. Which one has the treasure hidden under it?

Send me your answer in a PM! Good Luck! Leave lots fo comments. I won't blog again until after work tomorrow.

How's it going people? I worked for 8 hours (with a 1 hour lunch break). It was a crash course of training. Normally they train for 3-4 days, but I trained just today. It'll be interesting...  Tomorrow I spend all day shelving and receiving. My supervisor is curious as to why I work this and as a Bookseller.. It's interesting..

So I have nothing I really want to talk about.

So TV. Last night: The Class, How I Met Your Mother, and Heroes. CSI: Miami I'll watch later...

    *****Possible spoilers*****

The Class: Amazing episode. Everyone came back. There was no Perry, which is sad.. lol. But the primary focus wasn't on Ethan and Kat for once.. That's good... Unfortunately.. Power went out during Richie's speech in his car about how much he missed Lina.. I was rather upset... I'll be checking it out on the innertube soon..
How I Met Your Mother: Hi-Larious. It was great. Wayne Brady as the gay brother.. Poor Barney.. He's all alone.
Heroes: Fantastical. That's all I need to say. It's amazing.  The show needs to keep going.

    *****End Spoilers*****

So who got the teaser right yesterday: bluvsscoobydoo, FlyingHellfish, xblvr, and Glenn11523.... So everyone should immediately remove these people from their friends.. They think like Psychopaths! 99% of serial killers get the answer to this. The woman killed her sister because she hoped the soul mate would show up at her sister's funeral.

    Today's Teaser...

You are an expert on paranormal activity and have been hired to locate a spirit haunting an old resort hotel. Strong signs indicate that the spirit lies behind one of four doors. The inscriptions on each door read as follows:

    Door A: It's behind B or C
    Door B: It's behind A or D
    Door C: It's in here
Door D: It's not in here

Your psychic powers have told you three of the inscriptions are false, and one is true. Behind which door will you find the spirit?

Good Luck! Send your answers in a message and leave lots of comments!

So I'm back. Orientation or whatever you want to call what I went to today is over. It only took 3 hours. I filled out paperwork. We went over their policies, rather laid back... It's nice. I get a 33% discount because I am part time... That is so awesome.. I could finance a my own online bookstore.. lol.. It seems like it'll be a good job. I have "Training" tomorrow. Only 1 day. The woman that I did my orientation with was a little surprised..But then on Wed. I work in the stock room, and shelving books, so I'll get to know the store.. Fun times..

So no news stories to talk about today. But I have been having fun on this site a lot recently, more than just hanging around and making subs. So, don't worry even though I have a job, I'll still be around. I'm not losing my editorships after all the work I put in to get them.. Heck I might be able to get some more since I'll be able to afford TV on DVD box sets again..

So TV last night.... I don't really want to talk about the Fox Line up although Iwill say this. Funny Episodes last night for all 3 shows that I watched... I didn't watch the Simpsons... I just can't seem to motivate myself to watch it...
    So that leaves Dexter:
    *****Possible Spoilers*****

Dex: Fantastical episode. The show is really coming into it's own. The actors all do great jobs with their roles.. Headmaster Charleston (for the GG fans) was great as the Coroner. Rudy came close to some moments with Dexter... it was pretty cool. Harry lied, that's a new element.... Next week should be amazing.. I can't wait. This show gets more and more involved every week.. Dexter didn't kill anyone and no one died, although Paul lost a few brain cells... Speaking of Paul that Alliteration in his phone call was very Jeff Lindsay-esque.. I need to listen to the dialogue and write it down it was creepy and belongs in the allusions.

    *****End Spoilers*****

So that Teaser that I was telling you about.

A woman receives news that her mother has passed. She is very close with her family. She is saddened by this news and so she goes to her mothers house and meets with her sister to divide everything and to plan the funeral.

At the funeral the woman meets a man who is charming and perfect. She feels a real connection with this man, however she is unable to get any information about him. She was in love with this man and felt he could be her soul mate. As hard as she tries she can't find his name, where he came from, or anything about him.

Two weeks later the women kills her sister..

    Why did she do it?

You may not want to get this one right. Hope you are all having fun. Leave lots of comments, be social!

P.S. Since you're done giving thanks, think about giving to people who need it. Child's Play!

It's Sunday, and Gilmoreism is writing a blog... No Freakin' Way. If
that's right I will give you all my Star Wars cards... Except Boba
Fett. No matter how sure I am, I never bet the Fett Man.

All right, so Why am I writing this? Because I feel like it gosh darn it, so I'm gonna do it.

So what's new? I have closed down the I hate Mr. Meaty thread on that
forum, I was sick of patrolling it, so I figured why humor them anymore?
Let them grow up, or get banned... I got a nice message this morning,
from a person who hates the show.. No names of course.. but the message was "I hate Mr. Meaty." dozens of times... Followed by a "Ban me if you dare (Insult that is the anatomical part used in the excretion of feces... You know the one...)" I think it's humorous.. It was an account created for the sole purpose of that message I would imagine.. and I really want the mods to look into it.. and try and find the IP address and ban that, since I'm sure it's someone on the forums. I think it's funny that they think I have the ability to ban them... Most of the time, I don't even report it to the mods, or submit it for moderation. I generally just choose "Delete Post" which apparently doesn't leave a note in the moderation record, so I've been rather lenient...  Wow this has been a longer rant than I had planned.

So why I really wanted to post this blog is This

I wish I owned a publishing company... I would be rich. I can't believe they backed down... I mean come on! That book would have made millions.. Now the TV special, may be a bit too far, but a book.. Please there is worse stuff out there..  I think O.J. just needs the attention. I love it.

So what else do I need to talk about? Ah okay I recently reported an Editor MIA he has been off the site since Oct, and the guide that he was editor for was badly out of shape so I spent my precious time working on it and fixing it up, so Hopefully he will be retired soon, I've had 4 batches of subs moderated by the staff, and then I will get the guide... that'll be nice. I feel a little bad, I mean the guy is a left over from TVTome but he hasn't done much in the way of activity on this site, and I'll be taking away his only editorship.. Oh well, you don't stay on the site you lose the guides...

Hmm So I guess I will talk about the last teaser. Congrats to Miss_Box, xblvr, and Im2Crazy for getting the answer to the last trivia bit. I accepted the logic that  a round table would hold an odd number of coins because of the point in the center, but in the directions it didn't say they had to touch, but I accepted it because you could scoot his coins using your coins if you wanted and ti wouldn't be overlap. But the real answer is You place your first quarter in the middle. Then from then on you place your quarter in a mirror image from where he places his quarter, he will run out of room before you do since it is a perfect circle.....

It's fun. I'm not going to post a teaser today, because I'm not sure about the traffic on Sundays and I want everyone to guess my next teaser!!

Leave lots of comments people... I need them to live
. I've got a fever and the only perscription is more comments.... or is it cowbell... I can't read the doctor's hand writing.

Yesterday was pretty fun. I slept for a few hours after getting to my grandmothers, then I woke up to eat. Then I played with cousins 1 year old. Trying to get him to play catch and other fun stuff. I taught him how to ride some old skateboards down a hill. Something I used to do, now granted, in order to do it, we had to hold his hands, but eventually he'll be able to balance on his own.

I miss working with kids. I really am going to have to get a job that allows me to work with them or at least gives me enough free time to volunteer with kids. I always hated being a guy because Mom's never wanted a baby sitter that was a guy, lol. They just never thought of me kind of thing.

There is going to be no Teaser today, just because I don't want to scround around online to find one. Although the one, I do have in mind I know by heart, but it's not exactly a teaser as much as a personality test.. but it is a kind of teaser. It requires you to think outside the box, so I'll get on Saturday maybe, if not I'll definitely use it Monday after I get back from work (You have no idea how good it feels to write that... lol) The levels aren't really running, I should be through Level 30 already.

    Hmm CSI last night:

    *****Spoiler Alert*****

CSI: It was a good episode. Mickey Dunn. It was just awesome to see Daltrey in the different disguises. It was a great story line. Willows found out that Sam was a mob guy, I really can't believe she was in denial for so long. It was an interesting episode. Very little of Warrick.

    *****End SPoilers*****

All right well I have nothing else to say really...

Hope everyone is having a good day, and a good weekend.

So no update yet... Are the programmers on Vacation for Thanksgiving? Me hopes not. I did quite a bit of work yesterday. Somewhere around 40-50 subs. I did a lot of formatting, no real submissions, Just making Tv.com a neater place.

I have lunch with Family today for Thanksgiving, and then Lunch tomorrow with the other family... Joy. I don't really eat lots at Thanksgiving, so I've never been one for the holiday. Although I am glad that I have a job now, so it's not uncomfortable saying "well I'm job hunting, and I'm not in school..." I can now say, "well I just got a job at Border's, and I'm looking for schools to attend next Fall" It's a wonderful feeling really.

Speaking of which, I've been getting information from colleges. Jesuit Colleges all over the U.S. it's fantastic. Expensive colleges I can't really afford, but I don't care, I'm not going to be happy at a college that doesn't challenge me. Everyone who knows me has said that working in a bookstore is a good fit for me.

Okay I don't feel like rambling anymore. So Child's Play! check it out.

TV last night- Gilmore Girls, L&O's.

    *****Possible Spoilers*****

GG: Decent Episode. Logan and Rory fought, Chris and Lorelai fought. April got sick. There weren't as many witty moments. That was sad. Let Them Drink Cosmo's should totally be a banner for me... Anyone want to make it a Black Background, a picture of a Cosmo, and the writing in Fancy Cursive, probably Hot Pink writing to match the cosmo ... I of course won't add it until after the holidays.

CI: meh. Boring. Kind of. Semi Interesting. I'm mixed, btu I always am on the Noth Episodes.

SVU: She's Gone! Whoot. I hated her. She was a horrible partner for Elliot. They really misplayed this episode in the previews. I thought there was going to be more evil in the girl...

    *****End Spoilers*****

So congrats to Mrn71, xblvr, and FH346, and Glenn11523 and FlyingHellfish!(Edit sorry about that FH) for getting the answers. Congratulations to newcomer Calicasi for getting most answers:

    Should look like that.

    Today's teaser

You die and the devil says he'll let you go to heaven if you beat him in a game. The devil sits you down at a perfectly round table. He gives himself and you an infinite pile of quarters. He says "OK, we'll take turns putting one quarter down, no overlapping allowed, and the quarters must rest flat on the table surface. The first guy who can't put a quarter down loses." You guys are about to start playing, and the devil says that he'll go first. However, at this point you immediately interject, and ask if you can go first instead. You make this interjection because you are very smart and can place quarters perfectly, and you know that if you go first, you can guarantee victory. Explain how you can guarantee victory.

Good luck and send your answers in a PM. Leave lots of Comments.

Good evening and this is what is happening in the world today. So we got two updates yesterday. Huzzah! So I am now half way through level 30. I am now halfway through an Anchorman. So 60% of the time this site works every time..... You're awesome if you understood that.

Anything eventful happen yesterday? Nope. I got a call from Borders and as long as my reference from one of my past jobs isn't horrible they are ready to hire me and get me started this week if possible.. JOY. So that means I will be calling Sears and telling them. "Sorry Can't come today, I got a job that offers better hours and a guaranteed job after the holidays." Today would have been my first day with Sears I would have been going to orientation.

I also played Guitar Hero 2 yesterday at a friends house... Addicting! We need a second guitar controller for co-op purposes. We used a controller but the highest anyone got using the controller was 95% and these are players who strive for 5 star every time. So my brother and I are getting the Guitar Hero games for Christmas.

There wasn't really anything in the news yesterday, at least anything I found interesting. There was a lot about Kramer and racial epithets. There were a few things in that article that I found offensive, and it actually didn't have to do with Kramer calling people racial slurs, but I don't want to get into that here because it will likely be misunderstood and I don't want people getting offended without understanding, so I'll think about it today and you can check back tomorrow and I may do it anyways.

Before I talk about TV... Remember I encourage every used to go check out Child's play and see what you can do! Child's Play!

So TV last night How I Met Your Mother, The Class, Heroes, and CSI: Miami.. fun night...

    *****Possible Spoilers*****

HIMYM: I missed the first part but it was hilarious. This show is great, I'm sad that I missed watching it last season. The whole I wish it was porn line was great... I was eating and I nearly spit out my food at that point.

The Class: Another great episode. Poor Ritchie. I bet Lina forgives him in the next couple of episodes. Yonk was pretty funny, finding "owner's manual". His "creature" daughter. The gay dad was hilarious! It was so great that both he and Perry think the other is gay but don't think about themselves. Later When we say thanks, I'm gonna say Family and friends but I want you to know, what I really mean is THIS right now!.

Heroes: That was a great episode, with a let down ending. They left us with two cliff hangers. Peter saved the Cheerleader and was arrested. It was a bit strange. They are gonna try and pin it on him, and that's going to bring the Cop and his FBI partner (absent last night) to Texas because he's gonna fit Syler's M.O. Great episode can't wait to see what happens. It seems that in the next episode or two we will finally find out why these people. Awesome. This is one of the best new shows I'm watching.

CSI:Miami: Terrorists taken down by Horatio Caine. How totally ridiculous. It was a decent episode until Horatio shot the tanker. Why was he the one with the sniper gun, don't the police usually have better shots? I was laughing, but I think if it hadn't ended like that it would have been a cooler episode.

    *****/End Spoilers*****

Congratulations to Bluvs, KFC(Ang), xblvr, and Sassy_eggs (first one!) for getting yesterdays teaser answer... Is it weird that they are all girls? I think it has something to do with how they solved this one... : The diamond was in a roll of toilet paper.

Today's Teaser is a number trivia... It's about sequences. The first and second number in each set has a relationship. The third and second number also have a relationship, but it is not the same as the relationship between the first and the second.

    Fill in the Blanks!

    2 5  10

I have an Absolute case of the Mondays... It's ridiculous. The site not
updating is frustrating. I had a bunch of submissions approved last
night... That's over a 130 for a guide that I've made submissions and
then not got credit for it at all.. That's one level in and of it
    itself.

I don't know what else to say...

    I'm sure you are
all curious about the concert Friday night.... It was amazing. I'll
give a more detailed review later. I don't particularly feel like it
    right now.

Hmm I don't really have anything to say, so I'll review my TV from last night: Dexter. War at Home. I have Family Guy and American Dad waiting on my DVR.
    *****Possible Spoilers*****

    Dex:
It's the Doctor. Crap. I was really hoping it wouldn't be him. I was
just hoping he was there to attract attention. Although I do think it
was interesting that LaGuerta set up Matthews and the DA to take the
fall for Perry. It's interesting. I still don't think the Doc is cool.

    W@H:
Good episode. It was pretty funny. Hillary giving Mike "drugs" and
Larry's replacement of cursing with Love. The disposal of the porn was
hilarious. His friend's daughter kept catching them. I like this show,
and I'm glad that it got a second season despite what some people
    thought that it wouldn't.

    *****End Spoilers*****

Once again my PM system will not let me see who sent me PMs about the answer but I'll give you guys Credit tomorrow I promise.

    The answers were

    2.) Clocks by Coldplay
3.) Brown Sugarby The Rolling Stones
4.) Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N Roses
5.) Don't stand so Close to Me by The Police

    Today's Teaser.

A rich old lady died and left all her money to her grandchildren and her
children. At the end of the will she stated that she had one last thing
to give away: her precious diamond. She gave a clue to where it might
be. She said "it's in a cylinder surrounded by a thousand squares." One
grandchild said, "I know where it is" and found it. Where was it?

Send me your answers in a PM and leave lots of Comments.
