The home theatre experts at Elite HTS unveil their latest creation, a high-tech, Batcave-themed fortress. Unfortunately, it's just a showroom and not for sale.

"This effort makes our previous favorite Batcave look like a tragic mess, and although we are so excited, we are, at present, spontaneously generating 2.5A of electric current from our toes, we are also saddened immensely"

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone! It comes and goes every year but I hope you all had a great day and got everything you wanted! I also hope that, if you were fortunate enough to, you enjoyed spending time with your family or that special someone and don't just treat them good once a year. Be good to your loved ones all year round!

I've been thinking about this for some years, and maybe there can never be an answer because a new trilogy will always come along. There are so many trilogies, ones where all films have been made for the cinema, the first made for cinema and the rest made for video, etc. This year alone we've seen the final installments of the Spider-Man, Pirates of The Caribbean, Rush Hour, Resident Evil, Shrek, Ocean's and Bourne trilogies. An awesome year for trilogies indeed! Over at everyone's favourite editable dictionary, there is a nice list of film trilogies that have been completed; it may not be 100 accurate but its sill a good list. How many have you seen and which trilogy do you think is the best?
After being blown away by The Bourne Ultimatum I have to go with The Bourne Trilogy but The Pirates of The Caribbean Trilogy comes in a very close second.

Ok, so I have four extra Beta code's for Hellgate: London that I'm not using. I think it be a shame if they went to waste so I decided to give them away but I'm not gonna make it easy. Muhahaha!
We are going to play a little game!
How to play - I have noted down 4 random numbers between 1 and 100 and each of those four numbers is associated with a beta key, who ever posts with the correct number first gets the key, simple as that!
Rules - Only numbers in the comments to this blog post will count. Only 1 number can be posted by each user account, if you have like 4 accounts then fair enough, that ok 'cause its still 1 post per user account. If you post like 5 different numbers in the same post or different ones, or post every number from 1 to 100 I will just take into account the very first number.
This has to be done quickly because the beta could end any day now. Spread the word, get your all your CNET Network friends to join in. If this doesn't quite work then oh well, they codes will go to waste anyways.
Good luck!

Need accessories for you're Nintendo Wu or XB 360? I'm sure you're Dr. Boy could use some new batteries, or maybe you need a multi tap for you Poly 2? Well pop on down to Game Back in Akihabara, Japan, a store that indulges gamers who prefer sole clones to the real thing. You can also get a Mega X Star or a TriStar 64 among others...

YES!!! Finally, I got into the Hellgate: London beta! I know probably most people who applied have done by now but I'm so happy! I applied like a month ago and was thinking I'll never get it. I was checking all my emails like 3 times everyday (yes I applied with like 6 different emails), then I checked my e-mail at like 8pm last night and I had been sent an e-mail saying "Welcome to the Hellgate: London Beta Test" at 4:45:59PM! I couldn't believe it, I was so over the moon and wanted to blog it straight away but I was too busy playing the PoTC Online beta which is not a bad game by the way. I signed the NDA so I'm not supposed to say anything but that doesn't mean I cant' but... I wont, sorry. HgL is awesome, just awesome, I've been playing it almost straight since I downloaded and installed the client! I love this game!!!!!! I'm so happy that my PC can actually handle it, I managed to get into the Tabula Rasa beta but my PC can't run the game
. Next to TR, HgL is the game I wanted to play the most so it's awesome that I can! I still wanna get into the Exteel beta and the Jumpgate: Evolution one, so hopefully I will if not then oh well. Everything's all good right now cause I can play PoTC Online and HgL so I'm gonna be satisfied for the next few weeks! I'd trade both of those for being able to at least try Tabula Rasa, though, lol. - Posted Oct 23, 2007 12:05 pm PT

Someone is selling this Optimus Prime Peterbilt 1:1 Scale Replica on eBay and if you've got $55,000 you could own it! Sadly, it doesn't transform but it is a fully functioning Peterbilt truck that features an entertainment system, (with 17 inch LCD TV/DVD combo, Infinity Sound system, speakers and subwoofer) voice-activated alarm with Prime's voice, wooden floors, chrome laden interior, flames, the instantly familiar Optimus red and blue colour scheme and a bed that's got a memory foam mattress and Transformers themed bed linen! Awesome!

Check out the Nintendo Wii clone, the Chinese based company that created it calls it the "Vii". Not much is known about the sole but it does look similar to the original. It even comes with an imitation Wiimote which I can only imagine is called the Viimote...

OH MY GOD!!!! I just saw the trailer for Jumper! I can't believe I forgot all about it. I know I just posted about how I was anticipating Iron Man the most, well it turns out that I wanna see Jumper a hell of a lot more. I felt a sudden rush of excitement whilst watching the trailer for Jumper and it was like I was a kid opening presents on his birthday or something. As someone who has always wished I could fly or teleport anywhere I think this is probably the most significant film of my life and I haven't even seen it yet! I really, really want to see this movie! I think I might even read the book. It looks so cool and it's got Sam Jack! I'm gonna watch the trailer again…- Posted Oct 10, 2007 3:57 pm PT

I sometimes forget to check for trailers for upcoming films which sadly makes me late sometimes lol. I just watched the trailers for Hitman, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, American Gangster and I Am Legend. They all look awesome and those are only a few of the films I'm looking forward to. Before they came out I think the two films I wanted to see most was Spider Man 3 and Transformers. Spidey trios was really good but I think I may have hyped myself up for it soooooo much that no matter how good it turned out I would never be satisfied. Transformers was just absolutely awesome, I was blown away by it, just a really exciting, funny and action packed ride first time round in the cinema! I'm so gonna buy the DVD! Right now though the film I am most looking forward to seeing above all others is Iron Man! What about you guys, what film that's due out in the next couple of years do you most want to see?

Another concept vehicle, this time by Honda and its a car. Recently unveiled the CR-Z, possibly the CRX's successor, features a "balance of entertaining driving dynamics and a hybrid power train that fuses lightweight chuckability with a clear environmental conscience."

Check out Yamaha's concept motorcycle aptly titled Tesseract. It features V-Twin engine as well as an electric motor.
"Yamaha claims that the machine is about the same width as a standard motorcycle, meaning lane-splitting could feasibly remain an option and parking shouldn't be too difficult."

I think its things like this that show just how big a game or film franchise is. Remember the Deathstar Theater? Well some one has only gone and made an Indiana Jones themed home theatre and it looks awesome! Watching a film in a great place like that is as much as an experience as watching a great film is!

Just a spur of the moment thing, I looked to my left and saw the DVD of A Bittersweet Life sitting among my collection and felt the urge to declare my love for it (the film not the DVD, it's just plastic although I could love the bit of plastic for containing a film that I love, lol). I am really big on East Asian Cinema, anime and live action, and I'm yet to find one I didn't like or love. I love this film and if I had a top 10 favourite films of all time this would definitely be on it. I know that doesn't quite make sense but it's because I love to many films to limit a list to 10 things, it or even try and rank them. I mean I'd have like 50 films all sharing the number 1 spot and you can't do that because thats just not how the whole list thing works...
I'm not going to go deeply into it but the film is basically about a guy who works for a mob boss and is told to do a job and doesn't quite do it so the boss orders his death. Still alive and feeling very, very betrayed the guy then goes on a rampage of revenge. Anyways check it out if you haven't already it's just a really really good film! If you at all liked Oldboy then you'll definitely like this!

Remember the video that showed the life size working replica of the Warthog from Halo? Well the WETA made vehicle was taken out for a spin in a more fitting environment. Click on the links below to see the Warthog getting down and dirty! For anyone who is curious WETA is a organisation based in Wellington, New Zealand who build props, prosthetics, armour, weapons, etc, for Film and Tv. They have won for Academy Awards and their biggest achievement is work on the LoTR trilogy which makes sense as Peter Jackson co owns the company. The Warthog they created is fully functional with four wheel drive, a working gun, digital displays, airbags and the ability to crab crawl! Oh how I wish I could drive it! The Warthog among other things they have taken right out of the video game and bought to life are featured in a the Halo shorts which first appeared back in July.

In an earlier post I mentioned the Halo 3 Xbox 360 controllers drawn by Spawn creator Todd McFarlane to tie in with the release of Halo 3. One for the Spartans and one for The Covenant! They look pretty cool to me and come with figurines but Gizmodo, who were the ones who snapped the pictures, don't seem to happy about them...oh well, lol.
"Sure, the Spawn creator drew up some awesome images of Master Chief, soldier-filled Warthogs, and evil Covenant aliens. Yes, Brian thinks they're good. However, plastering a glossy reprint all over a controller isn't cool, it's gaudy and cheap looking. And packaging in Halo figurines doesn't make the design any better."

This case mod is simply awesome! Made by a guy who goes by "Craget" it took him 2 months to build in his spare time. The sole features no internal mods apart from the base cooler which is fitted with some LED's so it all lights up!
