All About Georgemen

Finally after a really long time...

Well, after waiting patiently 3 years with the hope that Nintendo of Europe would release Warioware Twisted!, I gave up after noticing that no new games would be coming for the Gba anymore. After that, I desperately sought out for the game's NTSC-U version. However, it was out of stock or at a really high price. I decided to switch my attention and search for the game's NTSC-J version and surprise! I found it for about 15 Euro. Without thinking twice, I instantly ordered the game and after about a week it arrived in a weird looking brown box. (After all NTSC-J Gba game covers are different than NTSC-U and PAL covers). The cartidge was a big white one. And after I started playing the game, I was instantly hooked and would not let go. It was the only Warioware with that kind of addictive power beyond any imagination. And while I completely finished the game within a week, I still play it from here and then when I want to kill some time and have a bit of laugh. The bonus minigames are great and the only "black spot" of the game is a lack of multiplayer. To summarize, even though I had to wait for 3 years and Nintendo not releasing the game in Europe, something that I may never learn why, I really had a great blast with the game and I easily consider it one of the top three Gba games as well as the best of the series. Now, I'm seriously looking forward for Warioware Smooth Moves when I get my hands on a Wii.

    Warioware Twisted? Ever?

It really feels like a joke. A horrifying twisted joke. One of the best games for the Gba and I still haven't had the chance to experience it. Why? Because I'm a European. Yes, that's why. The game was released on Japan on 14th October 2004. Then, it was released on America on 23rd May 2005 and on Australia on 25 May 2005. The official European release was 24 June 2005. Then, it was delayed for 24 February 2006, then delayed yet again. Nintendo of Europe lists it as TBD. At the time of writing, 17 January 2007, there has been no announcement on its release date. It is very ridiculous. Warioware Touched! for the DS has been released on Europe about 2 years ago, and even Warioware: Smooth Moves has been released about a week ago on Wii on Europe, but there is not even a freaking clue as to when will Warioware Twisted! be released. The more I have heard of how awesome it is, the more I get pissed off. Why? Why is it taking so freaking long?! It's over 2 years since it was released on Japan and it's barely a monster in translation, so why? It's like a conspiracy or something to deprive us European Gba users from experiencing the last light for the Gba. I hate it!
