  Where I have been!!!!!!!!

  Hi guys, its been a while since y wrote my last blog, but many things have happened. First of all I had problems with some papers in school so I had to quit this period, I will return on august.

  So I decided to do something while I was not going to school, so I entered to work to a game shop here in Mexico that its called Game Planet, it's a very cool job, and if you like games its even better, as a lover of games I love my job hahahahaha.

  In other things I bough Rockband last week and it's a great game, I just love it, I am so addicted to it, but I can only play it at nights when I return from the job because I work all day. On Friday I will get GTA IV which by the way I am impressed with the 10 rating that gamespot gave it caus I only know 2 other games with that rating so I am really looking forward for this game, caus I am a big fan of GTA.

  New Profile Look

  HI guys, well this is just a quick blog, i changed my blog header, my banner and my user icon and made them all of gears of war, i just love gears of war and i cant wait for gears of war 2.

  Something cool happend, gamespot read my question in the live show of on the spot last week, it was about army of two, it was funny to hear rayan saying my name and my hometown caus i am mexican and he had like a hard time saying "Distrito Federal" and also saying my name.

  So what do you think about my new profile look?

  Dead vs. Dead and more . . . . .

  11:51:19Hi people, I know I haven't been very active and I think my last blog was from last year but I have been busy, but now here I am to talk about many things I have been doing so here we go.

  First of all, I wanted to talk about some movies I saw, its more like a comparison between this 2 movies which by the way are from the same director, I am talking about George A. Romero, so I watched 2 of his movies, one was Dawn of the Dead ( The one from 2004, not the classic) and the other one was Land of the Dead (2005), I will Give my comments about both:

  • Dawn of the Dead: I had always wanted to see this movie, I mean I am not a fan of terror movies but this one always interested and I always wanted to see it. Well, first of all it didn't disappointed me, in fact iloved the movie, it has so many things that I like, including that it is like the game Dead Rising, but it gave a twist to the Zombie world in my opinion, I mean we have always seen zombies like slow and dumb, but in this movie they are different, they are fast and with fast I mean they can run, they are not smart but they aren't dumb as in other movies. Another thing I loved is the characterization of the zombies they look really awesome and the movie is very well directed. I don't want to get into details of the story cause I hate spoilers hahahahahahahaha.

  • Land of the Dead: For me this movie was a total let down, when I compared this movie with dawn of the dead I fell like if this movie was giving a step back I mean it went back to the old slow and dumb zombies, the story is not interesting, and the saddest thing is that the zombies look old I mean the characterization was really bad, you can easily notice when a zombie is a robot and when it's a person, the sad thing about this is that this movie is newer than dawn of the dead and it looks older ,and that's something that don't happen with Dawn of the dead, so for me this movie was very disappointing.

  So this is what I think about this movies, I will buy Dawn of the Dead and I will search for the classic version of it, cause many people say its better than the new one.

  Fifa 08 Issue

  Now I wanted to talk about an issue with the people that play fifa in xbox live. I want to keep it short because its something that makes me really mad. The 90% of the times you play fifa 08 in xbox live in a day you probably play against Barcelona or Manchester, and its really annoying its like if this 2 team where the only teams in the world, I mean, come on people there are tons of teams that have top quality players but for me it looks like if Ronaldinho and Cristiano Ronaldo were the only good players in the world, you can easily note when you are playing with a fan of the teams (When it's a fan of the team I don't care they choose this teams, cause they really know the team and how to use it), and when you are playing with a guy that only because he knows there is one or 2 great players in that team they choose it, I mean there are guys that put Cristiano Ronaldo in the Striker position just because it runs fast, when he is a Right midfielder. Really I mean it, for al the guys that do this, pleas first know a little more about football, and don't choose a team just because it has a big name player, please its getting boring in xbox live to play always against the same team.

  Gaming life

  So this is the end of the blog, I am just reporting about the games I have finished so here we go:

  • Assassins Creed: I finished it a long time a go and I have only pass the game once and I got all the achievements for it, it's a great game with stunning graphics and a kick ass counter moves hahahaha.
  • Kane and Lynch: I finished this one too, and in my opinion it's a good game, maybe not the greatest but I think gamespot really underrated this game, to play it in coop it's a lot of fun and the fragile alliance multiplayer its good. For this game I have 710 achievement points, I am missing some multiplayer achievements.
  • Mass Effect: I have to say this game really impressed me, it's a have to play game far all, it has a great story, the creation character option its really great and its really impressive, I recommend this game a lot. For this game I only have 570 achievement points, I will work on this game to try and get the 1000 points.

  MASSive New Game

  Well i just bought a new game, and its mass effect and i have to say its awesome, its a good mix of shooter and adventure game, the graphicas are spectacular, one of the bes i have ever seen, so i will go back to play it.

  Assassins creed and kane and lynch are awesome!!!

  Quick Blog

  Well this is a quick blog caus i am playing some games and i cant wright to much hahahahaha, last week i finished Bioshock for the first time and it was amazing i love that game and i got 900 points. I have 2 new games wich are Kane and Lynch and assassins creed and they are really awesome, i think Kane and Lynch its really underpriciated, i think its really fun.

  New Game in Town!!

  Well, i was walking on Wall-Mart when i suddenly saw xbox 360 games on sale, i mean they were not the greatest games ever but there was som coll games and really cheap, when i was looking at them i saw gun and i had always wanted to play that game, i didnt care it had a bad review, so i decided to pick it up, it was in 7 bucks so it war really cheap and it was new.

  So i started to play it and ok it doesnt has the greatest graphics for the 360, you could even say it has poor graphics, but i love western themed games, and its a fun game to pass time, i am having fun with it, the story is good and its a free-roamer and i love thyat kind of games, it has fun side missions and even Poker turnaments hahaha. So i am having a good time with the game and even more fuin when you start to think that it was in 7 bucks.

  In other things:

  I am still playing Bioshock, i know i showld had passed it a long time a go but i buyed a lot of games that some times i dont even know what to play and i am so addicted to Fifa 08 that i wasnt playing Bioshock, but know i am back playing it.

  SPOILER

  I have to say that i was a little bit scared by the Insanity of Bioshock hahahaha, The part in which i am has been the most frigtening i have played so far, i am talking about Cohen level in Fort Frolic, it started as all the past levels but when you se this scultures of people and when you shoot them and see blood coming out its when you say "AAAAAAAA this is INSANE" and now i am a little bit scared that sudenly one of does Scultures attack me hahahaha, for me it is the most insane part of the game so far, but i cant wait to pass that game i am loving it and it is a strong candidate to win Gamespot Game of the Year.

  Veteran Soldier

  Yesterday I finished Call of Duty 4, and by this I don't mean I only finished the campaign, I have the 100% of the game finished, I have to say I was and still so addicted to this game that I cant stop playing it.

  The campaign on veteran difficulty was hard work, specially in the last missions and in the Chernobyl one. But it was a lot of fun, cause in this difficulty you really need to use all your equipment, not la when you play it in recruit or normal difficulties were you can go running killing everyone with your assault rifle, in veteran you have to be more careful, cause one shot can kill you.

  By saying that I completed the 100% of the game, the achievements are included, I have all the achievements, there are some easy and some really hard but you can make it through with some patience .

  Now that I finished the campaign I the hardest difficulty and earned all the achievements I can focus in the multiplayer, I want to rank up and unlock all the cool weapons I cant use right now.

  I will post a review of the game soon, expect a really good rating. With nothing more, GeorgeGTA out!!!!!

  This is Modern

  I have been playing Call of Duty 4, i buyed it on friday, and i can tell you guys this is a must buy, i never expected so much from this game, i mean, halo multiplayer? yeah right, this has to be one of the best multiplayers of the year,its totally awesome.

  The story its solid, i haven't played it all but i am really connected with it, all the enviorments, the gameplay, the graphics, all the customizations, everything in this game is perfect. I am loving it, the multiplayer is full of details that make the difference from the other multiplayer FPS games, this one is packed with action all time, the is never a dull moment niether in the campaign and the multiplayer.

  This is one of does games that you say, no achievements online? i dont care i just want to kill some dudes hahahahahaha, i recommend this game to everyone that likes FPS, and i think its one of the best of the year. With nothing more, GeorgeGTA out!!!

  The Best Soundtrack!

  Well on saturday my brother bought Guitar Hero 3 for the PS2, he buyed it that whay caus we already had a guitar of ps2 so whe could play in coop, i have to say y love this game, it has the best soundtrack of the 3 games, i mean it has one of metallica, even flow of Peral Jam, welcome to the jungle of guns, la grange- zztop, and a lot more of songs and great grat bands, i think this a must buy for everyone, until later GeorgeGTA out!!!

  P.D: i maybe blog again tomorrow just to announce that i have buyed Assassins Creed hahahahahahahahahaha i cant wait for that game.

  Another New Game

  Well Yesterday I bought a new game, its FIFA 08, and I have to say i am loving it. It has so many new features and its so realistic that seeing a 3-0 its something wired. The graphics are amazing and there are so many team from many countries that you cant get bored. As Mexican football its my favorite sport so it's a must buy for all the lover of football.

  With this game I have 11 games of 360 in less than a year, lets see how many game I have in the end of year.

  I will post some reviews soon of the following games: Forza Motrosport 2, Halo 3, Fifa 08 and Bioshock.

  Discovering Rapture

  Today I got another Xbox 360 game, you should know by now which game I bought, yes its Bioshock and I am loving it. But behind this game is a story.

  I was going to buy this game before Halo 3 but then I started thinking that maybe if I had Bioshock I wouldn't be able to get the money fast enough to buy Halo 3 on the Launch Day, and if you don't buy Halo on the first day you would not find it until a week pass, so I decided to buy Halo 3 and another reason was the multiplayer, I didn't want to miss the first hours of multiplayer so does are my reasons.

  But know I have Bioshock and I am loving all its world full of details and its deep story, so I will have a lot of fun and work playing Bioshock and Halo 3.

  In other news, the preorders of Assassins Creed have started at the gamming store y will preorder my special edition of the game.

  Starting the Fight

  Well as many people have, i got today my copy of Halo 3 Collectors Edition, i wanted the legendary but it was very expensive, but what matters is that i have the game and i am loving it, its fresh air in the 360 y was starting to get bored with Gears of War and thanks to Halo there is something really cool to play.

  I havent played much, i just started the campaign and played a little bit of multiplayer. I only have one complaint, let me explain you. Here in Mexico, Microsoft does the games in Spanish language, but you can still play them in English if your xbox configuration is in English, but i dont know why in Halo you cant play it in English eaven if your configuration is in English, i just dont get it, i dont like to play games in other languages, i like to play them in English but i cant do it with Halo.

  But in conclusion i am loving it and i will play it for long time, until later, GeorgeGTA out.

  No more IK

  Sup, well today i changed my gamertag, i am not anymore a member of the IK clan, the reason is that there were many problems between some members, so a couple of members and i decided to do a new clan so we made de PMP clan, PMP means "Pure Mexican Power", so this is the new clan, and we will only be 8 members until a long time.

  In other things i also changes my nickname on my gamertag, i am not anymore GeorgeGTA, i am now PMP Vamp, i decided that name becuase Vamp is one of my favorites villian of the gaming world, for does that doesnt know jo he is, he is a villian of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and he will also apear in the new metal gear.

  New Game!!!

  Hi guys, well I just bought Forza Motorsport2, and I have to say its an awesome game, it has really cool graphics, a good gameplay, a lot of cars, a lot of customization parts, good multiplayer and a really cool paint and design editor. I have played the game for a short time but I am loving it, so here I put some pics of my 2 designed cars, off course there are my designs, I invented them, so here they are:

  My very first car in the game was the Mini Cooper, my design is based on a famous painting of an artist named Mondrian, so here it is:

  Look at this emblem!

  Well E3 is over and all its cool stuff too, but gamespot took the time to gave us al that cool and awesome coverage and also to gave us some really cool Emblems. Today I recived this gold E3 emblem. So here its what it says.

  Are you serious?

  Total Awesomeness is the only words I can say about this E3, I mean, the games coming this 6 months are awesome, and I am talking about the Xbox360 games coming out, what more can you desire than Halo 3, Bioshock, Stuntman, GTA 4, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, Mercenaries 2, Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band, Medal of Honor Airborne, Call of Duty 4, Brother in Arms, Army of Two, I would love to say Kane and Lynch but that's coming next year. So when you look at this game list, you realize that you made the right choice when you said. "I don't want a PS3, I don't want a Wii, I want a Xbox 360". More than ever I think I made the best choice.

  I mean the PS3 and Wii are great and awesome consoles but I think this year was an excellent one for Xbox 360, look at al does games coming, and all does that are all ready out there.

  I only can thank Gamespot for giving this awesome coverage of the E3, the only thing I think the missed was showing an "on-stage" demo of army of two cause they only showed an interview of Homer I think, and they only showed like 15 sec of gameplay, but everything else was just awesome.

  I just cant wait for TGS and off course the next E3 that I am sure it will be mind blowing, so thanks Gamespot.

  E3 Conferences impressions

  E3, the biggest show of gaming is here and as always it brought us some interesting and cool news of the gameing industry. The biggest news off course came from the conferences of the 3 BIG gameing monsters. So now lets take a look on each one.

  Microsoft

  Many of the things that were announced in its conference were all ready known but its always good to know more about the games and the accessories that are coming out. The big announcements like the Scene it game with the controllers for all the family are obviously let us see what the intentions of Microsoft are, to gather the family and show that not only the Wii can do it. The films and all the arcade games were also great news, letting us know that many content is coming, and making entertainment so much easier. But know, talking about games, lets be serious, Halo 3 will be a bomb and what can we say about assassins creed, grand theft auto, mass effect, PGR 4 and many more. So Microsoft really offers a list of games that are must-buy for all the 360 owners, making this season probably the most anticipated one in history.

  Nintendo

  Well as always Nintendo is trying to innovate on the world of gaming, and they are coming with a lot of accessories for the Wii which some of them look really nice. But talking about the games, some big announcements were out like Mario Galaxy coming on November, Smash Brothers Brawl coming on December, Mario Kart coming 2008 and many more. Nintendo also talked about the online gameing but lets be serious, to win on online gameing you need to defeat Microsoft and that is a hard task, but they are working on it and maybe they surprise us. Showing the use of the new accessories was the main event, the most impressive was the Wiifit which would make task like doing exercises easier and other stuff, we would have liked to know more but they are keeping some things for Tokyo.

  Sony

  With an impressive progress in the Home feature Sony opened its conference, showing us what the system can do. With some new features in the PlayStation Network Sony showed how the console its starting to look some really nice features and that probably in a year will be a monster in the gaming industry. Showing the new trailer of what we can call "The most anticipated game of playstation" yes i am talking of MGS4 and showing to an impressive gameplay of KillZone Sony shows that they are starting to get serious and that they will give fight to the other 2 consoles.

  Well in conclusion, this year E3 gave us a lot of great news in this conferences but we don't have anything else to do than expect more great things in the upcoming days.

  FinAlly

  Well today i finished Dead Rising with the Final A, cause there are like other 4 finals, so i am happy i got the true ending. I have to say that its an awesome game, so much things to do that you need to play it again, it has a lot of replay value and does achievement are hard work but funny and entertaining at the same time. I will post a review of the game soon so stay tuned. So i recommend this game to all the 360 owners, its a must buy and i hope Capcom announce Dead Rising 2 in this E3 as many people has said.   P.D. That Grand Theft Auto 4 Trailer was KickAss!!! i cant wait for the game.
