    Happy Holidays!

And to all my Christian friends, merry Christmas to you guys! Before the year goes away, I will put up my videogame awards, right now I am trying to think of interesting categories. As for PS3, I never been so proud of purchasing this system, I actually bought the system by selling my almost-RROD 360, but never looked back to that decision. PS3 games exclusives are stealing most of the awards, I think its safe to say that a certain guy among thieves will win the GOTY with the way things are turning out.

As for me, I am in Vegas with my skool buddies, will spend the holiday with them. As we spent most of our lives in vegas, so its only natural we return to this place, also its just because every minute there is a party here. We have been rocking out with Heavy Metal songs from the likes of Dokken, AC/DC and c lassics from Zeppelin, Ratt everynight, I trying to string a solo for a full 10 mins without loosing any beat. We are playing Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 multiplayer hours straight, take a break and just listen to music.Well just about everything goes when you have a party that seams to never end. KiSS will be so proud!

I have been playing Demon's Souls, such a hard game and clearly meant for hardcore gamers, but you just keep coming back to it, amazing RPG.

Well thats it, oh yeah it seams this is the year I will get my own car, you heard that right!

I applaud GameSpot For real this time

They gave the best multiplayer award to Killzone 2, u know what, it is really is an amazing f**** experience. It was very brave of them to go against the massive fanbase of Call of Duty. All those MW2 fanboys out there, before u judge u should atleast play killzone 2 and then decide why killzone 2 wins this. I can sum it up in some points:

1: Visual/ Audio: Its absolutely blows away MW2, technical masterpiece in art, graphics and sound during mulplayer.

2: Objective changes on the fly: You have 5 chances to win the overall match, lost in death match? Try to win it in capture and hold in the exact same match.

3: Dedicated servers: MW2 no dedicated server, which means every player has a different experience all based on their geographic location, which is not fair at all!

4: in-game soundtrack: for the PS3 atleast, MW2 does not support in-game music. But KZ2 does, its a very important feature, for example I play kickass with some hans zimmer and heavy metal on.

    5:No auto-aim

6: Do you want me to continue?

The World is extremely punishing in Demon's Souls

I just got Demon's Souls, an exclusive RPG from Atlus. I am not familiar with their games and Demon's Souls is my first ever game from Atlus. Over the months leading up to the release, I heard people talk in the forums, blogs, etc how amazing and yet under rated developer Atlus is. However not until I bought the game, I realized they are really a different kind of developer if Demon's Souls has anything to say for it.

At first glance, Demon's Souls looks like a medieval fantasy RPG epic like Elder Scrolls Oblivion, however....first glance can be deceiving sometimes and is certainly true for this game. Sure this game has setting similar to other medieval fantasy RPGs out there, but the similarities end there, its a very unique and in many cases a revolutionary RPG.

Why you may ask? Well for starters its extremely hard, I mean extremely hard. To put things to perspective, every encounter with an enemy feels like a boss fight, as with 1 mistake, your most likely dead and warped to the starting point where you have to do it all over again and loosing a lot of stuff in the process. Sure it sounds really punishing as really it is, but death is natural in this game and is really anything but gameover, because a unique narrative ties to death in the game. You learn by death, sure it can be frustrating, sometimes you progress at a snail's pace, but each pace is really rewarding compared to all other recent games out there.

The major feature is the online persistent world. If you connect online, you can see other player's (ghosts) as they fight through the same stage as you are. Pay attention, and they might lead you to secret chambers or secret chamber deaths. Also, with a gem, sometimes you can summon another player to work co-operatively to take down a demon, why will that player help you? Thats because if he succeeds helping you, he will get his body and life back (which is extremely rewarding in Demon's Souls as you die just too often and loose some great advantages tied to life).

However...there are some 'Black phantoms', these are players who can invade your world, and their task? Is to kill you and take all your souls and to revive their life. So with the game being already superhard, it has a chance to be even harder, so watch out.

I haven't touched the game much, but hopefully by the end of December I will have enough free time to try to get past the 1st level.
