All About GameBeaten

I always like finding great deals on used games.

Two days ago, I bought three used games at Gamestop:

Sly 2: Band of Theives (PS2)

    Viewtiful Joe 2 (GC)

    Mario Party 4 (GC)

The thing about used games is that you have to make sure the disc isn't messed up. Of course, these were fine. The great thing is though that Viewtiful Joe 2 was $2.99! Sly 2 was $6.99 and Mario Party 4, unfortunely, costed me $19.99. The last time I got a game for $2.99 with the disc in good shape was Max Payne (PS2).

And since I mentioned Gamestop, some prices on some of those used games are a bit questionable. The 360 version of Splinter Cell: Double Agent was there for $12.99 while the Xbox version was $19.99! Also, Marvel vs Capcom 2 on PS2 was $79.99! That's about to be downloadable for crying out loud!

I also find it odd howa game has a higher price than the exact same game next to it. As I mentioned above, I got Mario Party 4 for $19.99, however there was a MP4 next to the oneI got priced at $24.99. Crazy, huh?

EDIT 5/30/09: Okay, I know why Mavel vs Capcom 2 was so much nowbecause there weren't that many copies of the game madefor PS2 and Xbox.

    Ugh...Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)

Two days ago my brother decided to buy Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) for the Xbox 360. Needless to say, that meant I would end up playing it and finally seeing how terrible it really is. Holy crap. I haven't played as Shadow yet, but Sonic and Silver's levels (especially Silver's) are poorly designed. I mean, these levels are far worse than any of the levels in Sonic Unleashed.

Now I understand why people were complaining about Gamespot's Sonic Unleashed score. Sonic Unleashed is far superior than the piece of crap I have to suffer through now. Once I beat Sonic '06, I think I'll review it as well.

EDIT 3/27/09: That is if I EVER beat that poorly designed game. I haven't played it for a while.

EDIT 5/16/09: Dear god, I don't think I can go back to playing it! I think this isthe first game I own in which I seriously don't want to go back to and finish.

    Used Games

Over the weekend I managed to find three used games at Gamestop. Two of which I consider myself lucky to find. I actually found the PS2 version of Half-Life, which I almost freaked out after seeing. Then I also found Sonic Adventure 2 Battle; I had been wanting to get this game (DC or GC) since I had a few oppertunities before, but I never got it. Finally, I got Wild Arms 3 which was at a cheap price.

These games now interfere with my Christmas games which are taking a while to beat. I already beat Gears of War 2 (now playing on next difficulty) and I actually played all of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle yesterday. Meaning I had to suffer through all the worst parts of the game (again, since I borrowed the Dreamcast version years ago and beat it).
