(..... I tried updating my blog profile with a new pic.... And now all my pics are gone and it won't let me put them back up.)
4Sep 11I see the last blog was just after Christmas. So now that it is Sept. it is time for another blog.
We have bought a house that is closer to my work, our kids school, and that is in town (not the country in a trailor like we were.) We moved most of our things Wed. and are moving the rest of it today. I am taking a much needed vacation this week to get things settled in and to fix up the trailor in order to sell it. There was only 1 real hicup in the move date. Some time between the time that the previous owner moved out and the time that we got the keys and realy looked at the house, someone broke in and stoled the copper pipes that were in our basement. My dad has since been here to fix that and we do have running water now, but that was a hastle.
In gaming news, I know we bought some more games since my last blog, but I would have to look up what I posted last and then look through my collection to see what we got. But I am not doing that right now. I do intend to buy the new Zelda game when it comes out. I think I may even pay a little extra for the limited edition game too.
I know I had more that I wanted to say, but as of right now I can't think of anything else right now. So I am going to end this one right here for now. Take care all!
10Apr 11I don't blog that often. So it has been since Christmas that I did my last blog. In the past I have bloged once in a year to once in about a half a year. But I just bought a few games so I thought I would share. Since Christmas I bought Star Craft 2. I really enjoy the game and my son has been playing it almost nonstop. That is since I bought a second disc with an unused cd code... That is the only real complaint I had with the game. In order to have your own file and your own achievments you need a second game just to get another cd code. Otherwise all achievments are counted for the same person. He had to use my account until I got him his own cd code so that he could play online with his own user name. I also got Mario Galaxy 2 that I have not played that much of since we got it.
I just did some shopping yesterday and picked up Golden Sun (DS), Metroid Other M, Lego Batman, Sims 3 (PS3 (mostly for my wife and daughter since they like them)), I just ordered Super Mario All Stars for the Wii, and I pre-ordered Lego Pirates of the Caribbean. So the list of games since Christmas is:
- Mario Galaxy 2
- Star Craft 2
- Golden Sun DS
- Metroid Other M
- Lego Batman (PS3)
- Sims 3 (PS3)
- just ordered Super Mario All Stars (Wii)
- Pre Order Lego Pirates of the Caribbean
The games that are still on my wish list are:
- Kingdom Hearts (PSP and DS (the new one))
- Wii Resort
-?- Family Game Night 3
-?- Mario Party
- Mario Kart Wii
In other news other than gaming.... I personaly only live about 10 to 15 minutes away from my work (driving). However with the current gas prices I am looking into buying a house (and getting out of this trailor), and moving closer to work. Hopefuly something I can afford (forcloser), so that I can bike or walk to work. The first house that I wanted the bank accepted someone elses bid. So I am still looking.
Well... I think that is about it for now. Until next time. Take care!
26Dec 10Merry Christmas to all, and to those that don't celebrate Christmas.... Happy Holidays!!
Around about black friday, I saw a few good deals that I thought I would try and get. Only 1 of the good deals I got because I was too late for the others... Target had a good deal on the Wii Fit, Mario Galaxy 2, and a PSP bundle. They were out of all of them before I got to that part of the store. I still bought a couple of digital picture frames for my mother-in-law and my parents while I was there so it was not a total loss. Then I went to K-mart and they had a line to get into the electronic section. So I said forget this because I did have a little bit of a time problem as I still had to work that day, so I left. Across the street from K-mart was a Game Stop. So I figured I would stop there before going home. They had the Wii Fit but only at reg price. Our family had decided that our family gift would be the Wii Fit, So I went ahead and got it. While I was there I asked about the PSP bundle. They had that too, so I picked that up as well as a gift for the family/me. My wife got a little exited for me to open it up a couple weeks before Christmas so I went ahead and opened it. So we had a open early Christmas gift. (The bundle came with Little Big Planet, a movie Karate Kid, and a 1 gig memory stick. While I was there I also got 2 used PSP games and one PS3 game. The 2 PSP games were Star Ocean First Departure, and Star Ocean Second Evolution. The PS3 game which was opened as a family gift on Christmas was Heavenly Sword.
As far as Christmas day... Our kids opened up a Heart Gold and a Soul Silver Pokemon (1 game each and both of which me and my wife have already). We gave my son Crisis Core FFVII for PSP. And I recieved Epic Mickey. That's about it for games. There were other things as well, but this is a gaming site so I figured I would stick to just the games... So in short what we got is:
- Wii Fit+
- PSP bundle (w/ Little Big Planet)
- Star Ocean First Departure
- Star Oceal Second Evolution
- Heavenly Sword
- 2 Pokemon games (Heart Gold + Soul Silver)
- Crisis Core FFVII (PSP)
- Epic Mickey
Also each year my boss gives us some Christmas bonus money. This year I got $300. So I may get some games that we have been wanting. I will not be able to get them all, but at least a few I should be able to get. Mario Galaxy 2 is one that we will definatly get and the new Kingdom Hearts game for PSP is one of the reasons why I wanted a PSP (since it is only for PSP...). The list of games I want to get are:
* Mario Galaxy 2
* Kingdom Hearts (PSP)
* Star Craft 2
* Golden Sun (the new one on DS)
- Metroid Other M (I may rent this one first before I buy... but it looks good.)
- Wii Resort (but I would need to get the motion + for our remotes...)
- Lego Batman (since we like the lego games and already own Lego Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones, & Lego Harry Potter)
-?- Family Game Night 3
-?- Mario Party for the Wii
I think I will end it here. Hope everyone had a good Christmas! Take care everyone. And.... Have a Happy New Year!!!
