While I did watch the VGAs for the Halo Reach video, it was nice to see two surprises: Batman Arkham Asylum 2, which looks like it'll take place in Gotham City itself (open world possibility?). The second being Green Day: Rock Band, which means we will finally get to play those classic Green Day songs in addition to the newer hits. Basketcase anyone?
Overall, the VGAs were pretty good this year.

I just started playing Dragonball Z Burst Limit again, and trying to go for some achievments that have eluded me.
Playing the demo for Raging blast made me realize how many urks I have with the tekinachi series. Sure it has a ton of charcters but man...the controls urk me.
Nothing can ever top Budokai 3.

To Gamespot! *cheers*
As a few of you know, I've had a few issues concerning the ability to come onto Gamespot, but with that out of the way...
I'm back.

Mind if I raid your fridge?

I got Halo ODST yesterday and beat the ccampaign this morning, I gotta go back and play the ccampaign a few more times, I don't know how I feel about it completely, but I'm sure am having fun so far. The ccampaign, firefight mode, the halo 3 maps, and polish equal a worthwhile purchase.
Over the last week I've bought 5 new 360 games. I sold 16 games out of my collection last week, to put some funds towards these 5 games was able to pay off Halo ODST, and Batman:
Halo 3 ODST, 360 (Got this via gamestop so I got my Johnson character)
Batman Arkham Asylum, 360
Crackdown, $10
Fear Files,$15, 360 (Useing this as a test if I want to buy the two games in the main series)
Puzzle Quest, XBLA, $5

I bought Monster Hunter Freedom Unite yesterday at the store. this will be my first Monster Hunter game since I played the original on PS2 years ago.
After playing the demo some weeks back I couldn't resist buying it

I'm curious to see all the changes they made since the beginning of the series.

I finally figured out what to use my $50 PSN card for after almost 2 weeks of having it
I got:
Suikoden $5.99 (a great RPG classic!)
Medievil $5.99 (a great psone cla$$ic)
Super Stardust Portable $9.99 (*drools* wonderful title! This game is awesome!)
Beats $4.99 (a very good value)
Guilty Gear Judgement, $5.99 ( 2 games, for 6 bucks? Steal! And Guilty Gear X2 ##Reload looks and plays wonderful on the PSP)
Work Time Fun $9.99 (nuts doesn't begin to decribe this title)
King Of Fighters 99 $5.99 (plays a lot better then I expected, and the psp makes it look pretty darn good.)

Yeah, I'm finally Gmod. Free cookies for all!

Contrary to what you might think I don't feel overwhelmed at all. Looking voer waht I've done over the last 8 years of my moderating experience, I've been a mod/admin at Seven (yes Seven) sites and this (gamespot) will now be my Eighth one. God, I've done a lot in the last 8 years...
Also, I finally got a 4 gig Memory Pro Duo for my PSP. I'm also using my sister's Silver PSP...since she rarely uses it.

Maybe I'll buy some things from the PSN store :p

I got Rock Band Unplugged (hereby out RBU), and it's awesome. Omg it's better then I thought it would be.
The sound quality is fantastic, the graphics make your eyes melt. the game play is a bit zen like. I appreciate the fact that the load times are pretty small too. =P
I like the customization of the characters, band and such, and the track listing is great with 41 songs across the genres. I might nab a few DLC songs too.
The DLC songs available right now are:
30 Seconds to Mars - "The Kill"
Belly - "Feed the Tree"
Disturbed - "Inside the Fire"
Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Gimme Three Steps"
Muse - "Hysteria"
Mute Math - "Typical"
No Doubt - "Just a Girl"
Oasis - "Wonderwall"
Paramore - "Crushcrushcrush"
Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Under the Bridge"Bascially in short, the game is a must buy for PSP owners. The only nab against it is the fact it has no multiplayer. But the great tour mode, songs, and bunch of options make up for it. let's hope for multiplayer in the sequal.

I also picked up Hot Pixel for PSP as well the other day for $10 new. I like it. It's a neat wario ware clone, that you can get free dlc for (70 levels).
Everyone needs to try out the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Demo as well. It's awesome!
I also need a bigger memory stick. 1 gig just doesn't cut it anymore =P
Oh btw, has anyone gotten their Day 3 emblem yet from E3? I've yet to get mine. xD Only seen a few people with it though.

You know how my PSP has a crack in it? Look how big it's gotten:

It's gotten bigger and now it's going into the game screen. I'm using my sister's PSP 2000 for now. Maybe it'll be time to upgrade? get a new PSP bigger memory stick (only have a 1gig now).
I'm curious how the PSP Go will turn out.- Posted Jun 7, 2009 3:07 pm PT
