(I think I just set a new record for shortest blog ever)

I cannot believe I'm actually saying this but I miss school. It was always so boring that somehow it inspired me to write pointless yet entertaining countdowns. Now I'm just kinda drawing a blank. Which explains my blogtitle that I stole from the famous Buffy Musical (full song here)

My birthday was fun exept that it rained all day. It's July but it seems like October over here right now... so weird. Of course that didn't kill the fun. Dvd-wise I got SVU season 3, Buffy season 3 and Angel season 3 (my friends have a thing with the number 3). Also got the book Twilight.

Normally I'm not a big fan of forbidden love but this book is really good, highly recommend it. And come on.. these two are so cute .

I watched the Pilot of Supernatural last Sunday and I can see myself becoming a huge fan of that show. Awesome soundtrack, interesting storyline, gross monsters and Jensen Ackles are all things I love

Had a weird conversation with a friend of mine a couple days ago and to not leave this blog with no list at all the following sort of countdown is based on that conversation.

IF YOU HAD TO BE ROOMMATES WITH ONE FRIEND, WHICH ONE WOULD THAT BE?

Monica:

"I need to live in a land where people can spill"

Why not?

• I'm Monica. I wash the toilet 17 times a day. Even if people are on it!"
• If you move the phonepen she'll kill you
• You can spill... in the sink
• I'm Monica, I don't get phone messages from interesting people. Ever!"

Why?

• Great apartment. Purple, pretty and because of rentcontrol a friggin' steal
• She is the eternal hostess, so even if you don't live there you're still there all the time.

Ross:

"I think you reach a certain age, having a roommate is kinda pathe- ....sorry, that's, that's 'pathet', which is Sanskrit for 'really cool way to live'."

Why?

• Nice apartment
• Clean but not too clean
• He's a man with principles.. I admire that.

Why not?

• You would never be able to watch your shows because something about bumble bees would be on the discovery channel
• I'm guessing Gelboy spends a lot of time in the bathroom

Joey:

"All the ladies wanna live at Joey's"

Why?

• Fireball!!
• A tv as if it appears from nowhere! That's the dream!
• You can trow wet paper towels there

Why not?

• You would have to pay and clean everything
• He eats five times a day and puts pennies up his nose
• Not a great apartment
• No long talks about our feelings and the future

Rachel:

"She's perfect"

Why?

• Y'know she has 147,000 pairs of boots
• She gets tons of catalogs and umm, she'll fold down the pages of the things she thinks that you'd like
• When you take a shower, she leaves you little notes on the mirror.
• She has lived with basically everyone and never got a lot of complaints.

Why not?

• Oh my God, I love Ross! I hate Ross! I love Ross! I hate Ross
• She's lazy and I'm lazy nothing would ever get done.
• If you're a guy you might fall in love with her and we all know she's gonna end up with Ross

Chandler:

"Well I'm not that sorry because you don't have to live with it"

Why?

• Funny man

Why not?

• Like Monica said.. after a while it gets annoying.

Phoebe:

"Oh, it's so much more fun with you"

Why?

• According to Rachel (who has lived with everyone) you have a lot of fun living with her
• If you're a fan of her music, and I am, you can hear Smelly Cat all night long

Why not?

• You're not allowed to buy things from Pottery Barn

Conclusion: Phoebe, she is the most exentric one but she's also the only one without annoying quirks.

It's July 9 2008 (yes I know it's not but I don't have time to write this on Wednesday so just work with me). Which means that it is my 17th birthday . Yay me! To celebrate this joyous occasion I listed down a my favorite birthday episodes.

5. My Day At The Races

"As for me, I could overcome any obstacle, as long as I had Elliot and her ridiculously strong thighs beneath me."

Show: Scrubs

Birthday-boy: JD

What's the story: JD's hitting the big 3 0 and realizes he hasn't done anything on his things-to-do-before-thirty list. So he decides to enter in a triathlon. One thing I learned from this episode is that you should never enter a triathlon unless you wanna kill yourself (and always wear a wetsuit). Elliot wants to become closer with her boyfriend - let's refer to him as random guy because he was - and tells him her fantasy about the Mexican applethief and the cider. Gotta love crazy Elliot . Turk wants to get the attending spot and goes Kung Fu fighting with The Todd (Betrayal Five!). But the cutest part of the episode was the ending with Elliot carrying JD to the finish line was really cute .

Jake: Why don't you tell me your wildest fantasy?
Elliot: OK, fine. You're a Mexican apple thief. I run the cider house. I catch you hiding behind the stone mill. You chase me into the tasting room. Oh, if there's a crow in there: fine. If not.. I can live with it. Anyway, we're all alone and you don't speak a word of English, but you teach me more about hard cider than I ever learned from my fermenting exams and our passion is so loud that they can hear it all the way in the distillery. Oh, ha.. I can be such an apple slut!

Dr. Cox: Or maybe you could pressure him, get dumped, throw on 50 pounds, start collecting knic-knacks and meet your future now...you know...before the loneliness burns too much!

4. Birthday

Birthday-girl: Cordelia

What's the story: It's Cordelia's birthday and she gets a very painful vision that knocks her out. Fred and Gunn find out that she has been taking pain pills and a CAT scan reveals that she's dying. Meanwhile a demon named Skip (he was funny ) changes time to what could of happened if Cordy and Angel never met. Cordelia is an Emmy award winning actress with her own sitcom Cordy (wonder how, we've all seen her in that play). A great what if episode that shows us that Angel really needed Cordelia.

Memorable quotes:

Skip: We've been over this. I respect what you're trying to do. It's noble and heroic and all that other Russell Crowe/'Gladiator' crap.
Cordy: You've seen...?
Skip: Didn't love it.

Angel: Oh, whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa! Dirty people! Not touching the baby!
Cordy: But pig-drinking bloodsuckers are okay? I meant that in a nice way.

3. Rory's Birthday Parties

"and, while some have called it, the most meaningful experience of your life, to me it was something more akin to doing the splits on a crate of dynamite."

Show: Gilmore Girls:

Birthday-girl: Rory

What's the story: Rory's 16th birthday (kinda wrong because she says she's 16 in the pilot). Lorelai and Emily both plan a party for her. Emily invites the whole countryclub including all the mean rich kids from Chilton, and Lorelai just trows a good old fun Stars Hollow celebration. This episode was a great mix of comedy and drama. Lorelai has some of her best dialogue here, of course Emily and Lorelai fight but there was just so much power in Lorelai's "then you could pay for this party, couldn't you" line. The ending was kinda sad with Emily realizing she doesn't know her daughter. First great episode of the show.

Memorable quotes:

Luke: She's not here yet.
Lorelai: Alright. Well, you'll have to entertain me until she arrives. Okay, Burgerboy! Dance!
Luke: Will you marry me?
Lorelai:What?
Luke: Just...looking for something to shut you up.

Lorelai: Right?! That would mean that she actually made a mental note that we like pudding, which would mean she listens to something other than the judgemental conga line going on in her head, and got over the fact that to her, pudding is hospital food and is only acceptable when you've just had a vital organ ripped out of your body.
Sookie: Wow, that's some journey she had to take, there.

2. The One With The Two Birthday Parties

"we're on a major flan high"

Just had to include a picture of flan. Everytime I see it I always have to say: "It's a traditional Mexican custard desert"... No one ever gets it though.

Show: Friends

Birthday-girl: Rachel

What's the story: They've had many birthday-episodes on Friends and most of the time it was Rachel's birthday. I think this one's the best. The Friends plan a surprise-party for Rachel. Monica wants to have a party with organized fun and the rest just wants to grab a pizza and have actual fun. They both get want they want when Rachel's recently divorced parents show up and they have to throw 2 parties. It was hilarious to watch them try to keep the Green's apart with the dancing and the safely putting the coat on the bed. Most of the time when you desperately try to keep two characters apart it doesn't work but here thanks to Joey breaking the you're-not-allowed-to-kiss-your-best-friends-mother rule they pulled it of. Rachel realizing that her life will never be the same again also added a little drama, that scene in the hallway with Chandler was really sweet.

Memorable quote:

Chandler: (To Rachel) How you holding up there, tiger? Oh, sorry. When my parents were getting divorced, I got a lot of tigers. I got a lot of champs, sports, once I even got a governor.

Rachel: I could look at the bright side, I get two birthday parties and two birthday cakes.
Chandler: Well, actually just one birthday flan.
Rachel: What?
Chandler: It's a traditional Mexican custard dessert... Look talk to Monica, she's on the food committee.

(I'm probably the only one who finds that one hilarious )

Rachel: Can you keep my dad occupied? I'm gonna go talk to Mom for a while.
Ross: Okay. Do you have any ideas for any openers?
Rachel: Just stay clear of, "I'm the guy that's doing your daughter!" and you should be okay.

1. Surprise/Innocence

Show: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Birthdaygirl: Buffy

What's the story:Buffy's 17th birthday (just like me .. I hope not like me!) Well it was definitely a surprise. Angel losing his soul after achieving true happiness. Before Innocence Angelus was just someone we couldn't imagine because Angel was such a good guy. Well it certainly made his character more interesting. This episode kind of dooms Buffy and Angel's relationship. I was never a big fan of them but that scene when Angelus says "Yeah you were a real pro" is just heartbreaking. Sarah did a great job but let's not forget Willow's reaction when she finds out what the treasurer of the We Hate Cordelia Club is doing these days. Willow wants to even the score by asking Oz to make out with her but it's very sweet that he doesn't because. Smurf demon was.. well very blue but very cool how he got killed of with a rocket launcher. To sum up two amazing episodes that changed Buffy (the show and the character) forever.

Angelus: Spike, my boy, you really don't get it, do you? You tried to kill her, but you couldn't. Look at you, you're a wreck! Force won't get it done, you've gotta work from the inside. To kill this girl... You have to love her.

Sad, yet beautiful because: I looked it up, Charlie had 17 almost death experiences. Yup that guy was really meant to die. It's sad because he was a major character but I kinda understand it. When we first met Charlie all he cared about was when he could get his next heroinfix and in the end he choose to die so that Claire and Aaron could get of the island. (She didn't, he did... different story). Also, it's gotta be nice to know when you're gonna die. At least he had time to make a list of what were the greatest moments of his life. (Claire was nr. 1 ).

Last words: "NOT PENNYS BOAT"

4. Spike

Cause of Death: the sun (he's a vampire)

Sad, yet beautiful because: Like Charlie Spike wasn't really someone you would call a hero. More like, pure evil (but still very cool). But just that moment with the world ending and that background music and the looks on their faces - exellent performances by Sarah and James! - it's just something you're going to have watch. And even the biggest Buffy/Spike hater has to admit. That was one hell of a moment.

Last words: I wanna see how it ends. (nobody writes last words like Josh)

3. Ana Lucia & Libby

"For a brief time I served in a small parish in England. Every Sunday after Mass, I would see a young boy waiting in the back of the church. And then one day, the boy confessed to me that he had beaten his dog to death with a shovel. He said that the dog had bitten his baby sister on the cheek; and he needed to protect her. Episode: Two For The Road (though officially Libby died in "?")

Sad, yet beautiful because: Never in my life did I scream louder at the tv (seriously neighbours heard me). Ana Lucia and Libby were both not really my favorite characters. Ana could annoy me sometimes and Libby we never really got to know. Still, they both didn't deserve to get killed by one of our own people. That's why of the many, many, many deaths that Lost has had this one's the best. That it gets to the point that Michael is so desperate that he decides to kill.

Sad, yet beautiful because: This one's my favorite because it's realistic, it's something that happens a lot. When you bully someone it get's to a point that he just can't take it anymore and does something very extreme. One Tree Hill did a great job showing that in this episode and this is something you just have to watch even if you don't like One Tree Hill.

Well, there was absolutely nothing on tv tonight and I was really, really bored. So I went to Spoilerfix and read a couple of Bones spoilers (Don't judge me, I'm only human!) Normally I avoid them, well at least the really important ones. But like I said there is noting on tv and I'm too tired to finish my countdown (Friday or Saturday).

Anyhow I read that next season Booth and Brennan are going to be "in bed together". Which makes me wonder..
