Life's too busy for playing computer games. I play 'em anyway.

My Little Tank
OK, so everyone and their dog has an iPhone. I get it, they're very cool and I've enjoyed trying a few things on my neice's iPhone. The exclusive carrier for the iPhone in my province is not that great, so I've got a Palm Treo. I love this thing, and it's my third Palm device, so learning curve was zilch.
Anyway, I've been playing a game called "My Little Tank" on it, and it's great mindless fun. However, Level 10-2 is a pain in the Insert-Body-Part-Here, so if any of you have played it, give me a hint or two willya?

Games update, I have the whole summer off!
Just finished Half-Life 2, and about to start on Episode 1. Absolutely love this game. Halfway through, I tried playing quake 4 for a change, and it made me realize how much better Half-Life 2 is than all the other FPSs I've played. Awesome, and can't get enough of the gravity gun!
I'm still enjoying Flatout2, just barrels of fun. Also playing warcraft 3 - an older game but I finally got it only a few weeks ago. I was trying to find a way to get back into RTS games and it seemed an obvious choice.
Thinking about World in Conflict next. Having a blast gaming on my new laptop, which absolutely destroys my old desktop in terms of performance.

Exciting times ahead!
Why is it I only seem to post when I get new hardware? Probably because it raises the excitement factor. I can pick up newer games and look for some from a year or two ago that I had to skip because my computer would've cried after installation.
Anyway, I needed a new laptop. Since my desktop machine is also struggling with most games, I decided a higher end laptop was the way to go, basically replacing both. Some people I consulted with suggested I wouldn't be happy gaming on a laptop, but they were wrong. I got a Toshiba with a T7500 Core2 Duo chip running at 2.2 GHz, 2 GB ram, an ATI Radeon 2600HD video card, loads of hard drive space, and all the non-game bells and whistles I wanted, and gaming is on again!
I'm currently enjoying Half-Life 2, which often crashed on my celeron machine at home, and re-playing Flatout 2 on highest settings. That game is more fun than almost anything else I've ever played. Best of all, I'm reading reviews and checking prices on some excellent current games as well. It's been ages since I got into a good RTS game, and I'm thinking I'll do one over the summer. Time to download some demos!
