Tomorrow, I get to see Dr. Robert Ballard, the famed oceanographer who discovered the Titanic, Bismarck, Yorktown, and many other famous shipwrecks, give a speech at my school. Luckilly, I was able to snag a ticket before they sold-out.When I was little, one of my early fascinations was on deep sea exploration and sunken ships among other ocean-related things. I would read tons of big picture books on the Titanic and other famous shipwrecks, most of which were written by Ballard.
