    Take me to Paradise!

Oh Steam, how I love you. Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box for $7.49 and I jumped for it immediately. I've been waiting for it to go on sale and now it has! So, so sweet. It's a shame that the Big Surf Island DLC has yet to be released for it, though.

    Edge to Outrun

As if the Thanksgiving sales weren't enough, Steam rolls out their Christmas sales! Well, holiday sales to be boring, fair, and overly sensitive. Seeing as how I still have some gift money to spend, I went ahead and snagged Mirror's Edge and Outrun2006 Coast 2 Coast for the PC. Mirror's Edge I've been meaning to try ever since I played a demo of it. I've heard mixed reactions to the full game which is why I've held off buying until now. Outrun2006 I really love and have been meaning to get ever since I heard of a PC port. Sadly, I never did find a store with the game in a box. I guess that's what Steam is for.

Yup, that's blood on the wall. Good thing Eagle Vision reveals blood.

Just finished Assassin's Creed today. Clocked in at 22-23 hours (Steam says 22.3 hours). I was warned before hand of the disappointing and cliffhanger ending, but I was still taken aback by how unfulfilling it was as a game and as a story. It didn't help that I was frustrated at the dodge-y semi-automated nature of the platforming systems that caused me to mess crucial hand holds and ladders. In the end, the game was unfulfilled potential, the general opinion I've gathered from reviews and discussion. Still it is a beautiful game to look at and I eagerly await the PC version of Assassin's Creed 2.
