Well, the Incredible Hulk comes out pretty soon here. And it got me thinkin'.

What is it about the Hulk that people find appealing? I've always loved the US Gold created masterpiece "The Incredible Hulk" for the Super NES, possibly the most underrated bad guys limbs blowing across the screen after getting punched game ever made (an over looked genre to begin with), but how do the comics and movies even intrest people?

Let's look at the comics. I've only read the early ones, right up untill he meets the Abomination for the first time. The story just never grabbed me. The dude gets angry, he becomes the Hulk. But why should I care? And why should I feel compassion for Bruce Banner? He always seemed like an **** to me. The only person he cares for is Betty, as he constantly fails to realise the one person who actually cares for him, a flat 1D character known as Rick, is always overlooked. Plus, his villans suck. Terror of the ToadMen? I mean, what is that?

The movie "The Hulk" I will just stay away from.

It's just really got me thinkin'. Why love the Hulk? What's he gonna do for you? You get in trouble, he's not even gonna help you out! Even if you're Rick Jones! So style your hair into a black little bob and have a man nicknamed Thunderbolt as your father or he ain't gonna do nothin'.

So in protest, I am going to stay away from this movie, and instead spend one more day battling Tyranus in his underground prison. And watching his minons limbs fly explode across the screen, thank you very much.

This is just a list I made of my absolute favourite albums of all time. No, it's not based on how influential they were or anything like that (though you might think that by looking at it 'cuz I dig that kind of music) It's just a list of the records I thought were, as a hole, amazing. Lastly, I did this just because I was bored.

    1. Revolver - The Beatles - In my opinion, the greatest album ever made. Just because every song on the album is good, it's got mindless pyschedelida, Tibetan book of the Dead, french horns, and of course, a sitar filled track. It all comes together very nicely, and has always been my personal favourite album.

    2. Blonde on Blonde - Bob Dylan - This is another simply stunning album. Dylan has gone electric, and he's done with the slight angriness he had sprinkled throught Highway 61 Revisited. It's got Visions of Johanna, Stuck Inside of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again, Absolutley Sweet Marie, and countless others of my favourite Dylan songs. This one can't be beat. Well I guess it can because it's number 2. But whatever.

    3. Pet Sounds - The Beach Boys - There's a theme going on with the top 3. It's this high because it's one of the few albums that I find has not one bad song on it. Not one piece of filler, everything is top notch writing and amazingly recorded.

    4. The Beatles (White Album) - The Beatles - Now we take a bit of a turn. Though the White Album may not be consintley amazing, especially drawing near the end, it's a beautiful mess. Nothing keeps it together, it has hard rocking numbers, sweet ballads, and even a tinge of country. It all comes together to make the best double album ever made.

    5. The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan - This is Dylan's debut. Though Bob Dylan may have been his actual debut, this one is definetley the real deal. It showed where he was going and what talent he had.

    6. Rubber Soul - The Beatles - This was the turning point for The Beatles. After this, everything was gold. And this album was gold too, maybe even some super metal even better than gold.

    7. IV - Led Zeppelin - It's IV. That's really all you can say. It's the definition of epic set to music. Oh, btw, favourite track; The Battle of Evermore, because you knew Stairway was coming right after it.

    8. Live At Massey Hall 1971 - Neil Young - Probably the newest Album on here, well, release wise anyway. It could have and should have been released as an album after it was recorded, but just the fact that it did get releaesed eventually is good enough for me. Killer stuff.

    9. Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd - I gotta have Darkside. I mean c'mon. Everyone should have Dark Side on a list like this. Please.

    10. Live At Leeds - The Who - The Best live album ever made. Then wait, shouldn't it be above Massey hall you say? Well you'd be correct. Fine, the best Live album by a dude who wasn't Canadian ever made. Totally rockin', play it loud.

    11. The Doors - The Doors - The best debut in music! Sadly, the Doors never topped it. Great stuff anyway, especially the first half.

    12. Modern Times - Bob Dylan - Bobby D's newest album, and what an album it was. I love it.

    13. Plastic Ono Band - John Lennon - This is angst before angst was cool. Bands now try to write like an immature teenager and fail miserably. Lennon did it all with talent. Simple title's like Mother, Love, and God lead to simple but amazing songs about being brought up, love, and religion.

    14. Are You Experienced? - The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Another debut that couldn't be topped. The man with the guitar KILLS.

    15. Tommy - The Who - Rock operas are an amazing idea, but they rarely turn out good. Here's one that did.

    16. Nevermind - Nirvana - I don't find Nirvana to be that good as a whole, but as long as people remember this album, they can be gods. It's soooo great.

    17. A Night At The Opera - Queen - Some people think it's a concept album but it's not. I really like it though, it's layered and loveley just like all Queen.

    18. Let It Bleed - The Rolling Stones - I'm not the biggest Stones fan, but I love the string of amazing albums they did in the late 60s early 70s. This is my favourite of the 4 and got on the list.

    19. The Bootleg Series Vol. 4: The "Royal Albert Hall" Concert - Bob Dylan - Judas!

    20. Sea Change - Beck - This is the most depressing album I own. If you want to know what Beck's about, don't buy this album. But if your girlfriend just dumped you and you like amazing music, you could listen to it all night.

    21. Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon & Garfunkel - This one maybe deserves higher on the list. Almost every song on here is gold, and some of themost catchy chorusus and melodies ever made.

    22. Damn The Torpedoes - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - I love Tom Petty, but sadly, the most consistent album in his discog is "Greatest Hits". And this exception that totally rocks.

    23. At Folsom Prison - Johnny Cash - I can't put into words how outlaw country this album is. He's at a jail singing about Cocaine. It's great stuff.

    24. Blood On The Tracks - Bob Dylan - The comeback!

    25. Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 - The Traveling Wilburys - This album is incredibly fun. The way it's written isn't mind blowing change your life stuff, it's just fun music to listen to.

Well, there ya have it. If you've read this far...Well, I doubt anyone will. But if someone does, good on ya.

Summer is officially over and I once again have free time on weekday nights!

Y'know what that means? I'll be back on gamespot! Woo! So hey all there who missed me after my long trek out livin' life, and hope you've all been rockin' well. I did way too much stuff well I was away to list it here, but gamewise, I've been increasing my SNES collection (as always) and went through a brief Guitar Hero addiction. Besides that, no new systems or what, I've just been rockin' in the free world.

    See ya around

I just wanted to say sorry to all of you out there, I doubt I've been posting on your blogs much. I'm finding it harder and harder what with school, social activites, and the like. I'll still try to go on Gamespot when I have a chance, but you might not see me post as much as you'd like.

    Until another time

    Erok.

Is something I just can't write. I look at some of your blog's (redbandana2's in particular) and wonder, how can they write so well? I guess it's just a gift. So, seeing as how I can't write an insightful blog I'll just write about something I think is totally awesome. NHL hockey.

The Vancouver Canucks won their game yesterday, making them first in the Northwest Divison, third overall! Woohoo! Thier losing 2-1 in the game their playing right now, which doesn't matter because they don't have to win it. So I can see why they'd put a total siv like Sabourin in net. Anyway, on a sad note, the NY Islanders won their game, which means the Leafs did not make it in the playoffs. My hopes were so high after they won 6-5 yesterday, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Thanks for listening to me talk about something your probably not all that interested in, but if you are, how bout leaving a comment about your opinions in hockey?

Not like it will really matter to any of you, but I've started a profile on Gamespot's sister site mp3.com. Well, I haven't really started one since it's the same as this one, but I posted two album reviews. Good for me.

Do any of you use that site, or are you just a Gamespotter? I probably won't go on it alot, but I find it a nice little place to opinionize on my music taste.

In Honour of this being the first of April and all, I wanted to ask what your favourite April Fool's joke of all time would have to be. Wether it was done to you by someone you know, or in a magazine, or on this very site. What was your favourite?

Mine was probably the one EGM printed about being able to unlock Sonic and Tails in Super Smash Bros. Melee for Gamecube. That one had so many people convinced, myself included.

So, what's yours fave April Prank?

I have gotten myself into a bit of a gaming mess. You see, I ussually buy games every two weeks or month. That's a pretty bad habit. But the thing that makes it bad is it's not like I'm finishing these games that fast. And now that I look at my collection, I realize I've probably only beaten about 25% of all the games I currently own. My whole PS2 collection only features three fully finished games. I know this sounds sort of like a Dear Abby letter of sorts, but have any of you discovered yourself with this horrible soon to be medically known problem?

I hope no one missed me on my week long absence. I was out in Calgary, Alberta (that's in Canada, dontchya know?) It's really a nice place, very large compared to home. I went to some Calgary Flames games (that's a hockey team, dontchya know) Wow, those flamers are some of the biggest fanatics I have ever seen. I've been to Canucks games in Vancouver and it is nothing like that.

What about all of you, my cyber space friends. How did your spring break go?

Well, in honour of the new larger than life size icons here on Gamespot, I've decided to change mine. The Beatles logo had been there for a little to long anyhow. This seemed like a hard thing to top, but I decided there was only one person who could. Proffesor Chaos!

What's everyones thoughts on the new pic? Should I keep it, though I probably will no matter what anyone says. And what does everyone think of the bigger avatars in general?

Today I finally understand. I decided I needed to know if it truly was as impossible as all the old schoolers say. All I can say is Wow.

I'm talking about Battletoads for the NES. I decided to (I know I'm a little late) pick up Battletoads the other day. I still haven't managed to even get past the second level. It's just that hard. I've never seen a game this hard, and doubt I ever will again. Gamers today need to play it to see how much easier games have gotten.

It is a great game though, and the graphics are great. They actually look pretty close to Battletoads/Double Dragon for the SNES (which is more a comment on that game's bad graphics than anything). Has anyone else played this unmercifully difficult game? What do you think about it?

It's the word of the day for us Nintendo fans. The Gamecube is, as we all knew, dead. It's official. Now nobody can deny it and say "Theres still Super Paper Mario!" Nope. It's dead.

I don't think anyone's losing sleep over this though. The Gamecube was a bit of a dissapointment. I think Nintendo really needed 3rd party support of the little lunchbox. Actually, come to think of it, the N64 didn't have a lot of 3rd party support either. But it did have Rare. Nintendo and Rare pumping out amazing games let everyone forget about the fact it didn't have the support PlayStation had. But for Gamecube, we just had to wait through all the parties and sporting events Mario was having to play a new Zelda or Metroid.

Don't get me wrong. I like the Gamecube. I really do. It's the best multiplayer system and has some good single players too. But when you look at all of it's best games there mainly "N64 Game You've All Ready Played 2: This Time, It's On A Disc." Now, let's all bow our heads with a moment of silence, and remember the good times (Metroid Prime, a cartoon Zelda, 4 contoller madness) and the bad times (4 Mario Parties, Yet only 1 party making games...)

People are stupid. As a mass majority, I'd say most people are stupid. I say this because lately some people on Gamespot have been getting on my nerves...

On one forum I've been on, there is a certain user who will constantly just say to me "beatles are stoopid." I'm all for open opinion, but what does this have to do with anything? There is another user, luckily he stopped, who used to send me PM's about my apparent bad taste in games. Apparently some people think Kingdom Hearts deserves an incredibly high score. I don't see the point to this. Why would anyone feel the need to do this? And lastly, a problem I think we've all had, is people who feel the need to disreccomend a review for apparently no reason whatsoever. This seems to happen to everyone on my friends list.

So, what do you people think? The non-stupid ones of course.

Let's flashback to my previous blogpost...or just scroll down the page. I was asking if anyone could reccomend any N64 games. Well, I took out 60 bucks, and left that same pawn shop with Jet Force Gemini, Turok, Turok 2, Quake, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, and threw in Super Monkey Ball 2 for Gamecube for some good measure. Now this amount of games sounds like a steal for 60 bucks, and I really think it is.

So far, they've all impressed me except Quake, which wasn't as great as I'd hoped, but still fun. Jet Force Gemini is tons of fun, and Turok 2 has some of the best 64 bit graphics I've ever seen. SMB2 is the best party game of the previous generation, and a good single player to boot. The only lame part of the day was discovering both Turok's need a controller pak, which I am without. I'll have to pick one up.

Overall, I got some great games at discount prices. What does everybody think out there? Have you played any of these games, and do you enjoy them?

The other day, on my way home, I stopped by at a pawn shop. They had a green sort of see through N64 (y'know, the one that came bundled with DK64) plus 2 games for 20 bucks. As just a few months earlier, I had given my N64 to a friend, I decided this was a deal I couldn't resist. The two games were Paper Mario and Goldeneye by the way.

So know I have an N64 again, and I can finally play some of the best FPS's gaming knows (in my humble opinion)

I've already played the N64 games in my collection to death (SM64, the Banjo series, etc) But does anyone have any recomendations? They would be much appreciated.

I was watching a news report today on CNN entitled "The Paris Hilton Effect". It asked questions like "Why are we treating this woman as a celibrity?" and said things such as "The media should stop reporting on her." As anyone with half of a brain can tell, CNN reporting on a story saying that the news shouldn't report on this story is the most redundant thing ever. I really think the world has to decide what they think of Paris Hilton. People line up too see her or talk to her, yet cheer and hoorah when she died in The House of Wax (when I saw it that actually happened.)  I'm not writing this blog to bash her or anything, and her popularity is the media's fault if anyones. But as always, the most wisdom on this topic came from South Park...

On another note, I'm level 00. Hoorah for me!

I love writing reviews on this site, but one thing I find bad is different peoples grading scales. For example, a certain user on this site's reviews all consits of 10's, yet the captions beside them say things like "could have been better." How can a perfect game be better? Myself, I say 6 is an all right game, 7 is good, 8 is great, 9 is amazing and of course 10 is perfect. (I don't ussually bother writing reviews that deserve below that because fans of it will just disagree.) But sometimes people will say "How could you give this game a 7.7?!?!?!" Well, that's a good score. I don't know if any of you agree, but it's how I've always felt.

So, how did you get into gaming?

I started when my sister got a SNES for Christmas back when I was  a wee tyke. We played the heck outta that thing, and got so good we would take turns seeing who could beat it the fastest. What about all of you out there?

Most of my old reviews are just garbage and I want to delete them. Is their a way to select more than one at a time to delete? Or would I have to go edit review, and then delete for each one?
