  Is there some sort of strategy to this all?

  This is strictly about FPS Multiplayer. I am having trouble being good at sniping. Gears of War, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4 Beta, Halo 2, Halo 3..... all of these games are excellent multiplayer, and yet, when I play in a game restricted to just snipers or snipers and one other up-close weapon (Shotty Snipers, anyone?), I feel ripped off. Sure, it's stunning to snipe someone from the shadows, but what if you're not the one sniping? Ever? Welcome to my latest few sessions of Halo 3! Can anyone help me out with good tips on how to be a better sniper and how to avoid a good one? Any counsel would be much appreciated. I'm not one to whine, but there's something especially unappealing about constantly being sniped by l33tsniper07 and his cohort D33pSnyper. Meet me with dual wielded weapons, then we can talk.

  I would like to say that first, I don't have a steady hand when it comes to sniping. I DO NOT TURTLE and sit in one spot and wait for someone to come to me. That's cowardice and I like to meet my opponent straight up, guns ablazing, and diving for cover later. I'm not trying to be MVP, but I am trying to understand how to get more than one kill on sniper sessions online, versus 10-15 kills on Ranked Lone Wolves or Ranked Team Slayer. Help a fellow gamer out. I don't mind admitting my weaknesses, as long as I can be helped.

  Lost Planet Clan

  To anyone out there,

  I'm looking to form or join a clan for Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for the X360 multiplayer online experience. Anybody interested in starting one or letting me join? Give me a shout. I'm new to the multiplayer (I've been consumed by Gears of War) but am interested in playing Lost Planer online more often.
