Tomorrow me and my friends are having a sleepover partayyyyy! It's gonna be uber fun! Everyone is bringing one flavor of ice cream and 4 toppings, so we're gonna pig out on ice cream And we're gonna have a fire pit at night. Then stay up playing mindless video games... And we're probably gonna watch a horror movie or two.... Two of my friends are like, immune to horror movies. They just never get scared by them. They sit there and laugh through-out the entire thing. The Saw, The Saw 2, The Ring, The Ring 2, The Grudge, The Grudge 2, you name it they've more than likely laughed at it. Then my other friend gets scared and starts crying at the parts that are only a tiny bit scary. Then you have me, who throws the blanket over her head every time someone in the movie screams.

And we're sleeping in the basement.... Let's see how this goes My basement used to be set up as a den/family room. Then it got totally trashed and used as storage. It's been like that for over a year. I've been working on cleaning it and restoring it to a den for the last week. It's one of the hardest things I've ever done But I'm almost done and it's almost clean yay!!!

Except my summer hasn't been so fun yet... so I have no excuse.

I've pretty much just been sitting around my house doing absolutely nothing since summer vacation started.

Yesterday I had my first drum lesson (finally)! I am soooo good at it! My Uncle's been in a band for over 20 years and he said I'm natural at it and that I have a great sense of rhythm and my---

Actually, that's a big lie. I suck at playing the drums. Big time. But I'm just starting out so it'll take a while It's really really fun though Just wait, some day I shall be the world's best drummer and be in a band and get super famous! Muaha!

My town did fireworks yesterday because it's weird like that I didn't get to go see them though I haven't been to see them in a few years... Gah my lazy parents! I can't drive yet so as parents it's their duty to drive me where I want to go! And I wanted to go see the fireworks We didn't even buy any because buying fireworks are illegal in my state. Only sparklers and fountain fireworks (so lame!) are allowed. Noone usual pays attention to that law but this year all the major firework companies and stuff got busted. All their fireworks were taken away and they were sued or something

My family did absolutely nothing in honor of Independence day. Well, not entirely nothing. My dad cooked out on the grill for lunch.. but then it rained. And me and my brother attempted to start a fire in the fire pit so we could roast marshmellows... but then it rained again.... S'more' just aren't s'mores unless the marshmellow is all warm and gooey.

Um.... nothing else has really happened in my life lately. Oh! I'm getting Baptized on the 13th In my religion you don't get baptized until you're old enough to make that decision and know the meaning of it. It's completely excepting Christ as your savior and becoming a born again Christian. My mom wanted me to do it now so... yeah. I'm nervous though....

One of the horses that belonged to the program I volunteer for died Tuesday. It was Kali. She was my second favorite and the one I worked with and got to ride

Why'd Kali have to die!?!?!?! Why not mean ol' Snickers!? Okay, that was mean. But I miss Kali!

The volunteer coordinator called me Tuesday to tell me not to come in on Wednesday because one of the herd passed away. She sounded like she was about to cry so I didn't ask which one. Then today she sent me and the other volunteers a e-mail saying it was Kali and I started crying I shouldn't have gotten so attached...

In other news, I had an endoscopy done last week. It was sooooooo weird. They never told me when they put the anesthetic into the IV and I don't even remember going out at all.

School gets out next Monday which I say calls for celebration. I can't wait to hit the beach and eat ice cream until I puke

I don't have any plans for the summer other than to hopefully go camping. Anyone else going anywhere?

I just got back 2 days ago from going on vacation. My family went to Virginia Beach. I had a awesome time for the most part We got to stay in a suite for FREE. My parents went to this boring timeshare thing for a few hours and they let us stay in a suite free of charge for the whole time we stayed there. Talk about coolio.

The first night we were there was really scary though. I don't know if you guys know what Night Terrors are but if you do then you know how creepy they are. My little brother gets them. My entire family was sleeping except for me. I was in the living room reading comics 'cuz I couldn't sleep. My brother came in and I just figured he couldn't sleep either. But then he tried..... he tried to jump off the freak'in balcony! Omg it was so scary. Obviously since it was a night terror he wasn't awake and didn't know what he was doing. When I asked him why he was going onto the balcony he started crying that he had to get out so 'they' wouldn't get them. He said that 'they' were after him. Then I knew he was having one of his night terrors. I was restraining him and by that point I was crying because I didn't know what to do. So I started screaming for my mom and she woke up and was able to get him to go back to sleep after an hour of him trying to get out of the suite because 'they' were gonna get him. It was one of the scariest things ever..........

The rest of the vacation was really fun though.

I won Honorable Mention in a writing contest that I entered like, over 2 months ago. Today was the award ceremony or "awards presentation literary tea" as they put it. I was all proud and whatnot and excited for the award thingy but that didn't last long. As soon as we got to the award presentation (and late at that) my mood went down hill. I was in such a sh*tty mood that I refused to go up and except my award (which I now regret). I stood in the back of the room being serioulsy p*ssed off. I just had a really bad day and it finally got to me.

And now I'm not in a bad mood but in a really sad one and I feel like crying. So, as my awesome friends it's up to you to cheer me up. *sniffle*

I got my hair cut today for locks of love. You only need to give 10 inches of hair for locks of love and that's what I was planning on doing. But then the stupid hair dresser goes and cuts off 16 inches of hair!!! I TOLD HER TEN AND SHE CUTS OFF SIXTEEN!!! My hair was to my waist before and now it's to my ears! I LOOK LIKE A BOY!!!!! Now I have to wear pink just to look like a girl and I HATE pink. Actually, pink won't help, then I'll just look like a gay boy I hate my hair now *sniffles*

So who wants to help me get revenge on the dumb hair dresser???
