I wasn't planning to buy any games this month but I have a good chunk of change because I decided to clean out most of my anime DVDs between selling them on ebay, and trading them in at Amazon and Disc Replay. I decided to only keep the anime I really love in my collection and get rid of the rest of the stuff I bought a few months ago but finally got around to it over the last couple weeks. I ordered Ni no Kuni at Amazon with the DVDs I traded in there, and bought Dragon's Dogma and the Jak and Daxter HD Collection with the stuff I traded in at Disc Replay. No idea what I'm going to do with the money I got from ebay, I got quite a bit since some of collection was fairly rare.
I also finished two new games that I bought from last month, they were:

I played the original Persona 4 on PS2 but P4 Golden added a lot of events, a new dungeon, and more play time. I played through once and got the true ending but I'll definitely be playing it again at some point to do the few things I missed on the first playthrough. I would like to plat the game if I find myself spending an extra 60 hours or so on it(first playthrough was longer but now battles will go much faster with powered up weapons and persona).

The other game was Under Defeat HD Deluxe Edition for the PS3. The game was really short but it's a really fun shmup and I liked it enough to play through the game 10 times to get all the trophies. I liked how the helicopter could shoot in different directions while moving, but oddly enough I didn't like the twin stick controls. I went with the reverse option. I could definitely recommend this for people if they're trying to get into shmups because the game isn't all that hard, since the more time spent on it allows more credits to be used. Also, the extra chopper that comes with this edition is just insanely over-powered, that I was able to finish on hard with only 3 credits and I'm not an expert at shmups even though I love playing them.

It's not a new game but I find this one worth mentioning. I finally played Jazz Jackrabbit (and the Holiday Hare expansion) this year and it was a lot of fun. Epic used to make some really good games. I found Jazz Jackrabbit to feel like a mix of Earthworm Jim and Sonic the Hedgehog. Now I need to track down a cd of Jazz Jackrabbit 2.
Not that I said all that much about the games above because I'm lazy but I also played Duke Nukem 1-2, Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm, and Shadow Warrior recently but don't really feel like saying much about them. Maybe I'll finally do some more reviews on Gamespot but I kind of doubt it. I did write a full review on Under Defeat, but not on GS.
