Not sure if it's just me but Glitchspot is at it again

Over the past few days I've commented on quite a few GS friend's blogs and the comment disappears. Happened to me about five times over the last three days(that's not counting a couple I attempted to comment in a couple times lol). Anyone else having this problem?

I'll also take a little time to talk about the game I'm currently playing.

I'm playing the PS3 version of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and I'm having a lot of fun with it so far. I've been exploring around a lot with some high level pawns but I think I'll downgrade to seem weaker ones as I get more into the main story as they are quite overpowered at the moment. So far the only foes that have given me trouble with them are spirits(called phantasms I think). They probably have a weakness I can exploit but even my pawns weren't doing much damage lol. If the Elder Scrolls games had combat more like this I could really get into them. Playing this now definitely has me looking forward to Deep Down for next gen.

Dragon's Dogma doesn't exactly have a moving story and there is a lot of stuff to do so I might play another game or two along with it. After I'd down with DD (lol, boobs) I might finally crack into Demon's Souls or Dark Souls to focus on them and see if I get what all the hubbub is about.

    Duck Tales WOO-HOO!

Great news, Duck Tales is getting an HD release coming this summer for PSN/XBLA/WiiU. I loved the NES original and this looks great so I'll definitely be buying it. Along with the Dungeons & Dragons arcade games getting released, Capcom is really on a roll today. I've always wanted to play those. Alien vs. Predator was awesome and now this gives me hope for that game seeing a home release as well.

A new Mega Man game has also been announced to be in development but I won't hold my breath on that. It could be a browser game for all I know, but hopefully it will be something worth getting excited for. I would hope it's not yet another classic Mega Man (would prefer a new X game) but even that would be pretty nice.

    Video Game Compilations

I just bought Midway Arcade Origins and have been playing it some recently and it while it isn't the greatest collection of games out there it really has me wishing more companies would release compilations like this on disc. Aside from Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection and Midway Arcade Origins, I don't believe there is anything else on current gen consoles and that's a shame. The Capcom Arcade Cabinent which is coming soon seems like a complete rip-off. Games for $5 a piece, $10 for three packs, or $30 for the complete collection which has only 15 games. Might seem like a good value if the PS2/PSP Capcom Collections didn't offer more games for only $20 each in physical releases. I wouldn't mind having Ghosts n' Goblins, Pirate Ship Higemaru, etc again on PS3 but not for that price. I'd be more likely to track down the PS2 Collections even though I have them on PSP. Hopefully there be a big discount at some point because that's the only way I'd buy them. Anyway, back to Midway Arcade Origins.

Midway Arcade Origins is a pretty neat collection, offering 30 games for $30(okay I bought it for $20 from Amazon) and offers a pretty good value. But the collection is pretty bare bones with less games(and less quality ones at that) and extras than the SEGA collection. That's forgivable though since Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection just offered way too much value for a $30 collection, I would has easily bought it for $50-60 with all the games offered on it. I plan to attempt a platinum but Smash TV is getting to be a pain in the ass so not sure if it will actually happen. I haven't played them again recently yet but pretty sure the Joust games and Sinistar are going to be a pain also. Even though the product is kind of lacking in features and definitely missing some games, I'd recommend it to any fan of Midway's library.

The PS2/Xbox/Gamecube era as it stands now definitely had the best collections of games: Capcom Classics vol.1 and 2, Mega Man/Mega Man X, Metal Slug, Street Fighter/Street Fighter Alpha, Taito, and more I forgot I'm sure.

Here are some compilations I would love to see released:
Castlevania Collection (All the Castlevania games before the series went Metroidvania)
Capcom Classics (Breath of Fire, Demon's Crest, etc)
Mega Man Ultimate Collection (Would be nice to see the MM and X games on one blu-ray disc)
Tecmo Koei Collection (Ninja Gaiden trilogy, Uncharted Waters, etc)

    Only in my dreams:
Capcom/Disney Collection (Aladdin, Duck Tales, The Magical Quest, etc)
Compile Shooter Collection (Blazing Lazers, MUSHA, etc)
    TMNT Collection

Those lists could have been a lot longer probably, but I'll keep it short. I'll get back to playing Midway Arcade Origins and Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny before hitting Fire Emblem Awakening. Then hopefully I'll be hitting the backlog because I intend to keep myself off of new games for a while and get to my unplayed ones. Feel free to post long lists of compilations you'd love to have here if you want.
