Tomorrow will be D-day for me. Gamespot has tagged some of my videos for moderation so I did my best to delete the videos I think are tagged. However, there may be more I haven't looked at so I will probably get moderated or even suspended. Anyway, if you don't see me anymore, it will probably be because of that.

My birthday just past by on the 15th. I got Street Fighter IV, Warhawk with the headset, and Ninjatown. I am finished with school and I will be graduating on June 1st. I got accepted to a graduate program so I think I will pursue my master degree starting this fall. I still have an interview this Wednesday for which I have to figure out what if I want to work there. Now I have to get back to work on my unions and see what I miss on your blogs.

I thought it was would good to discuss a few updates. I will be graduauting very soon. I already finished 2 classesbut I still have to take 4 more finalsleft. I also have a job interview in a few weeks so this could be a big decision in my life. I'm not sure wheter to stay and finish a Masters degree since I got accepted to it too. So I' haveto figure it out ASAP.
Anyway, it other news, I got my first Platinum trophy recently with Resident Evil 5. I also got Grand Theft Auto: China Wars on sale for $20 and Kingdom Hearts 2 for $20. I was lucky since GTA was the last copy at the store.
After most of this stuff is completed, I'll hope to be back here more often since I haven't done much inthe pastfew weeks.

Last Monday on my anniversary, I traded in my DS Lite for a DSi in Gamestop. So I got $70 value for my DS Lite for the $170 DSi which actually saved me $10 overall since I got my DS Lite for $130. I also didn't add the value of having the DS lite for 3 years already plus the satisfaction of getting a new one, especially at gamestop.

On April 6, 2009, Devouring_One will be 5 years old on gamespot. I guess that's old considering how many old uesers are left here on gamespot. I haven't been active lately because of college work. I'm going to graduate from school in a weeks and there's alot to do until then.
I haven't made ablog post in awhile so I'll try to log everything I didin the past few weeks.
About 2 weeks ago I got Metal Gear Solid Essentgot ial Collections even though I already have the 3 MGS games but I wanted to play the game with the extras. I also got SOCOM 1 for $10, Castlevania Portrait of Ruin for $15, Final Fantasy Tatics and F-Zero both for the GBA at $5 each.
Last week I got Pokemon Platinum.
This week I got Condemned 2 for the PS3 at $13 and Hotel Dusk 216 for $16.
Come to think of it, I got alot of stuff to do when I graduate.

On Saturday, I went with my cousins to see the Watchmen. The movie was pretty good. I thought the problem with it was that it didn't focus onthings very well. The good thing was thatthe moviehad some serious themes. I never read the novel but I should sometime in the future.
After that I went to another Circuit City in hopes of finding any other good deals but no luck since the store was practically empty.However,I did went to another store to see if they had any good used games which I actually did. I got Castlevania: Portrait of Ruinon the DS for $15.

I finally went to my circuit City run to pick any left over games since there's only 5 days left until it closes. I got:
Spore Collector's Edition for $20 which I might give to my cousin
Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 for $15
STALKER Clear Sky for $12
Crysis for $12
Overlord for $4.50
I might go on another run to another Circuit City this Saturday after I go see Watchmen with my cousins.

27Feb 09Judging from the reviews, my brother and I got Killzone 2 today for his birthday. There wasn't anything out when it was his birthday last week but we remeber Killzone 2 and it just happen to come out near his birthday. We could've gotten Street Fighter 4 but we decided for Killzone 2. Hopefully, we didn't make a mistake. And for the record, I don't remember the last game we got its release date.

Pokemon Pearl for $30 and Pokemon Diamond for $20
I wasn't planning getting them yet; I rather get some cheaper games like Bangogai or Lock's Quest but I can't miss the opportuntity of getting some rare Pokemon.
"From 8th - 14th, if you stop by your local Toys 'R Us with your Pokemon Diamond or Pearl in tow, you can pick up a Shaymin of your very own! Check out Pokemon.com for some more details. Their front page is also right now particularly helpful in showing more of the exact process.
According to Bulbanews, Toys 'R Us will have more reason for you to stop back! From March 8th - 21st, you can pick up a special Regigigas. It's at level 100 and ready to take on plenty of worthy foes. Not only that, but you can use it to unlock the three other Regi Pokemon in Pokemon Platinum. I am returning to school tomorrow which in all likelyhood will be the last semester of my studies for my bachelor's degree at college.
In other news, I might have to break my promise in the near future since most of you heard that Circuit City is going out of business and are starting to sell off all their inventory. This would be the perfect time to go out and take advantage of the deals that you can get. I hope you too will find good deals.

Ok, so it took 15 days into the the year to break my new year resolution. I said I wasn't going to get new games until a few months later since I bought so many late last year. So today there was this special video game sale and I could not let it pass up. This store, J&R, which supplies practically all electronic consumer goods in downtown New York, was having a sale on video games for all consoles. This store has alot of good games to get at cheap prices, which expalins why I'm able to get so many games. I don't buy too many since there's literally so many games to get at good prices so I just pick out the rare games and thats the end of it.
So in the end, I got
Champions of Norrath at $19
Burnout Paradise at $19
Persona 3 FES at $28
I try to get all the rare games with this sale and not the more common games. I really do hope I stop since its a really bad habit. There are some PC games out there that I want to get and they are becoming rare in the store and sometimes I feel like I have to get them or else it won't be there in the future. Kinda weird right?
I now have over 600 games in my collection and as result of my purchases, I lost my PC gamer emblem which meant over half my games were PC games.

Well, this year for me was pretty good. For most people, 2008 is a year to forget. Some things I'm looking forward to in 2009 is the finally graduate from college. After that, I'm probably going to go to graduate school. In the mean time, some of resolutions is to make the best of my remaining time at school since it's going to be very weird to be at the point where you don't have to go to school anymore. I'm also goin to try to lose weight for the first ime in 6 years. I must've gained like 20lbs during my time at a college and I want to be alittle slimmer by the time I graduate.
Oh yeah, and as some of you heard, I was going to stop buying games but I guess I fell short of my promise. I got Kingdom Gearts Chain of Memories, Advance Wars 1 and 2, and Botkai 2 each for $10 uased for the GBA. I wanted to upgrade my GBA collections since the real reason why I got a Ds was to play GBA games, not DS games. But my plans kinda failed since GBA games were phased out before I could start collecting them. After this my collection is at 599 games and this will probably the lat game I buy in a while and this will be my other new years resolution for the first few months.

I've been addicted to buying games lately. Hopefully, I'll stop for a while after this. Tody I got N+ for $20. It's a good game. I know that DS get pretty rare after a while and I can;t let this game get away from me.

26Dec 08Today I went out with my cousins to look around for any after Christmas sales. I didn't really find much but I did visit KB Toys, which some of you know will be out of business by the end of the year. I purchased Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus and Ace Combat 5 each for $9.99. This in all likelyhood will be the last time I'll ever purchase anything form KB Toys. KB Toys was one of the toy stores I remember very well from my childhood since I had several significant gifts from this store such as my PS2. RIP KB Toys 1922-2008

As some of you already know, my brother and I received Prince of Persia and NHL 09 yesterday as early Christmas gifts. Today we have receive Little Big Planet and Dead Space as our other two gifts.
