Hay gaming freinds! You know I run a little website and that we have a podcast. We decided with all the E3 hype this year to record special E3 editions. On monday we talked about and graded Microsoft and Sony and yesterday we of course discussed at length Nintendo's show and the Wii U unveiling. This was a lot of fun and I think it's neat to have the ability to share our gamer/fanboy perspective on all of this info. PLEASE check it out if ou are interested. They are both short (under an hour). We are available on iTunes for free (search: Rule of Two Review Podcasts) and of course can stream from the site at these two links below.

If you leave any comments or even questions for us to address eaither here or on the pages on the site I promise to read your name and comment/questions on next week's E3 wrap up! (btw it would be REALLY cool for us to get some questions from you guys that give us a chance to interact with you our fellow gamers on the air. it would mean the world to us and myself as the host . So thanks for tuning in guys! Game on....

Hi there awesome Gamespot friends! So my website, Rule of Two Review and our gaming and movies podcasts have been kicking for a little over three months now. We just completely overhauled the site to make it much more efficient so go check it real quick for new reviews of de Blob 2 and Hard Corps Uprising!

HOWEVER! What I really want to do is get even more followers to the website to see all of our awesome content. I realized there's no better way to earn people's love than to, well, buy people's love Which means I'm offering FREE GAMES AND MOVIES! So here's the deal:

    - I want to get the Facebook Page up to 100 "likes" and the Twitter Page to 50 followers.

    - What I'd just love for everyone to do and totally just help the crap out of me is to super please go to one or both of these and like/follow it. And then any of your fellow gaming and movie loving friends, have them do the same.

    - I want t make this thing viral and make it something we can all appreciate as a hardcore nerdy fanboy community because we all are passionate about this stuff

Now...the free stuff. I host both of our padcasts on the site which I linked above and can be downloaded on iTunes for free. Just search rule of Two review and look for the 1-Bit podcast and the Frame by Frame podcast. As soon as one of these pages gets over the desired number of followers I will begin a contest on every episode of the podcast (and soon to be video podcasts!) where I will ship the winner a brand new free game (or movie) of their choice! This is not a joke and it is not spam. You all know me and know I'm a real person and this stuff is just what I'm passionate about. I will supply all of the prizes.

So this is all next to no work for you friends of mine and all of your friends to have access to free stuff every month. Just follow our site, listen to our podcasts (which are awesome btw) and BAM! Access to free games every month! This is my baby. My pet project. I really want the educated peer nerds that I share my time with to be into it with me and our team at the site. Support fellow gamers and win free games! Any questions or suggestions or....whatever....just let me know okay? THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for any and all support. Here' to the first 100 "likes". See you all soon

It's been starting to get more traffic and that's been great to see. However this site is created for you! The real gamers and movies nerds out there since I obviously share this passion with you

What would mean the MOST to me and my small crew ever would be if you went to the actual Facebook page and "like" it. The link on the page doesn't connect right to the FB page itself. PLEASE to help me out and do this!!

I host a gaming podcast called The 1-Bit Podcast every week and if I see any of you awesome GS friends of mine start to like the page I promise I will give you a personal shoutout on the podcast and then i will be able to start the contests where we'll give out (and mail to you) free video game prizes and Gamestop gift crads!

This really will mean so much to me and the hard work we are doing with this site and our reviews and fun content for all of the hip nerds out there. I've applied to attend E3 as a media outlet to so this will help our status for the expo team as well. Thanks a lot guys to all who help us out! You're the best!

It's only the first episode and in this one we cover games and movies, but starting this week we will record a games only podcast and a movies only one. We discuss The Dark Knight Rises and what the title tells us about the new movie, the new Pirates trilogy, Aranofsky's The Wolverine, Black ops, Epic Mickey, Gran Turismo, Move and Kinect, and much more randomness. So PLEASEEEEEEEEE check it out Gamespot buddies! I would love to have you listen and enjoy it.

Message me or email me if you would like for me to give you a shoutout on a future episode of the podcast cause I would love to show some love for my online forum friends from Gamespot. Comment on the website, check out the reviews, and this Friday the next episode will go up. See you there!

Hey everybody! Earlier this year I began a dream of a website and have been working on it for months. A few weeks ago I posted that it was almost complete and ready for launch....and now it has!

Please visit Rule of Two Review !!!!!

We have tons of content already available including reviews of Goldeneye, Fallout New Vegas, SOcial Network, Jackass 3D as well as some great articles with insight into our opinions into the worlds of movies and games. There is a top ten movies list I think you'll enjoy and coming soon podcasts discussing all things movies and games as well. The website will be updated with new reviews and articles and lists every week and the format will also be improving over the next month or so. I'm REALLY excited to have this thing off the ground and would like it to be a success because it's really fun! So help me out by visiting, commenting and telling people about it. I have done this in our name as gamers and movie nerds so let's keep the fanboyism alive. PLEASE feel free to contact me through any of the means I've provided in the "About" section on the site.

Thank you so much guys. I hope you enjoy!

So, inspired by my unconditional love for games, movies, anime and all things nerdy, and the enjoyment I get from being a part of a community like ours here at Gamespot (because I love you guys so!), I have been hard at work on my very own comprehensive mvie and video game website. It's Called Rule of Two Review and it's been a brain child of mine since early in the year when I posted a massive five part movie list of my top 50 favorite movies of the decade on Facebook. It took about three months to complete and was a massive hit. Making lists such as this has been a hobby of mine since the myspace days. I'm an extremely passionate, and resourceful guy and I realized how much fun I have doing this stuff and envisioned a place here I and a small team of trusted friends and workers can have complete control over the content and information flow. So....I began work on the site and it just went up in it's alpha form on Halloween!

There's no real content up that's visible right now except a main page banner and some preview pages. But trust when I say behind the scenes everything is looking awesome. I have a seriously talented team of friends and bandmates working on it and when it goes live in a few weeks it will be pretty loaded with content and hopefully exciting for people to visit. I will have podcasts and videos in the very near future as well and if all goes well, I may be able to make this site a career. That's the dream anyways. So please, go visit the site. Like it on Facebook, follow me on all the mentioned links and sites in the contact page, and prepare for a fun launch soon. I'm really excited to get any Gamespot friends I may have made in my many years here to get involved in this. Hope to see you there!

So, as we all know, this year has been packed with great games. Most of them for the Wii. Even so though, across the board it's been stellar. And October has hit harder than any complete month thus far. Kirby, Fallout, Star Wars the Force Unleashed II, Fable III, NBA Jam....it's insane. But wonderful. The first week of the equally economically devasting November sees the release of Goldeneye which I must say, I have become increasingly ecstatic over!

As a gamer of the late 80's and early 90s, my teenage gaming years were weened on a healthy dose of Mortal Kombat, Mario Kart 64 and the one and only Goldeneye 64. So the announcement and months of coverage leading up to the new rendition of this kick-ass shooter has me elated. With Call of Duty looming and so many other great games being released it's easy to overlook this or any other title. But the recent hands on previews and new videos have brought me full circle back into the hype machine.

    Goldeneye Campaign Video

    Goldeneye Online Video

Early on the only marketing push Activision has been doing is with offline split-screen. That looks great and will be a ton of fun for sure, but the problem that occured is the obvious graphical hit when you reduce to four smaller screens and man did people react poorly to that. The issue here is A) that people seemed ignorsnt to the fact when you go split-screen you have a grahical dip almost always. And B ) that nobody paid attention to the game itself or even (gasp) the gameplay of the revered title. It was offensive but that's the reaction nonetheless. Now, refer yourself to the above videos to see a gorgeous looking and extremely cinematic campaign segment that obliterates the split-screen videos and a smooth running and fun as hell looking online match. You'll notice that the game is pretty, and the game will be a fast paced and excellent shooter.

When the game releases next Tues I expect to be online rocking some old school Goldeneye madness for a very long time. So anyone else who's getting in on the action let me know. I'd like to build our own small community now. I'll post my FC in my sig and update it here in a blog. So if you're game then message me and/or post it here. Even without voice chat we can start rocking some Bond! Hope to see you online!

So I haven't beaten Alan Wake yet but I couldn'y keep my hands off of Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow and I'm super excited! So I'm getting my grubby hands all over it at the moment. It's extremely promising one hour in. My type of action game. I'll post more impressions as I go through it. Anyone who's played it and wants to share their thoughts, without spoilers, totally should! Here's to the death of vampires and sparkles!

Having just bought my first Xbox in a few years in the form of the super sexy Halo Reach Slim edition, I'm finally getting to go through some gems I've missed. Alan Wake was at the top of that short list as I've been pumped about the psychological thriller since the 360's launch. Does it really deliver the mind bending experience I've been hoping for?

Well, so far, that answer is yes. Even though it comes with a caviate or two. One of the first things we know the game to excell in is the story, and that is 100% accurate. The story is excellent. Engaging, fun, smart, and well acted. Fantastic all around. It is easily the part of the game that is keeping me the most interested. As a fan of mindless shooters and action games as well it's always a relief when an excellent thought-provoking title can show itself. And on that front Alan Wake meets all expectations.

On the gameplay side the game also mostly delivers. The combat, using a strategic mix of flashlight-oriented defense and blasting your foes with some powerful weapons, works well and is certaily fun. This is also where the few problems start to show. It gets old. As unique as the combat is it really isn't all that deep in the end, and you have to do a lotttttt of it. The game attempts to keep things fresh with some different enemy types, some in the form of environmental objects that come to life and attack you, and while I have yet to see an actual boss 4 chapters in, this doesn't change it up quite enough. Since the action is still servicable it doesn't destroy the experience, but it doesn't help it either.

The other main issue I have is a common complaint which is that you are always in the same area. The game's story leads you through story-centric day scenes and then frightening and action packed night scenes. When the game thrusts you into the night you are required to traverse the same bland looking dark forst engaging in the same tedious fights. It's here that the meat of the gameplay truly lies but man, running through the forst with my flashlight only entertains for so long. It all looks nice and I must say that the overall environment is extremely ambient and effective, but it looks drab after the seventeenth time. The game and these moments are very remeniscent of Silent Hill SHattered Memories. But that game is much better in every facet of the game so the novelty also wears off here.

It's fun, but you'll do a lot of this. Over and over.

It should be noted that as a whole, Alan Wake really is a great game so far. There may be some problems that rear their heads after a few hours of play. But in the face of the brilliant and revolutionary story and atmosphere they serve only as roadblocks on what is a much grander experience. I'll talk about it much more once I complete it. If you're itching for a game like this Alan Wake is certainly worth your time and money, but I also recommend Shattered Memories over this one. If anyone's played it share your thoughts!

Halo Reach is out! And people should not mistake this blog as an outcry of the game sucking. In fact it's flipping awesome. I have been a dedicated fan of Halo since the first game. I am by no means a Halo fanboy and am not a superfreak that defends it as the be all-end all shooter, but as a whole the Halo series rocks and I've enjoyed them all. And Reach in this gamer's opinion is the best yet. But I'll save the review as that's not what this is about.

What I can say is that jumping in to the plethora of sweet online matches in Reach, I really have gotten terrible at Halo. Terrible! Granted I was never a superstar at the vs. Many friends who I system link party with have always been better than me. But Back in the day I could certainly hold my own. But now.....holy crap I am just bullet fodder for the enemies lol. I can attribute this to one major factor: Modern Warfare 2. In general I have never been a war game fan or a fan of many shooters not set in a sci-fi or futuristic setting. However Modern Warfare 2 changed all that for me. It's fabulous and the best outright shooter I've ever played. And for the last almost year I have boned up my chops and am now a killing machine at the game with a K/D ratio of 1.15. And I'm proud of that

This is not me btw ^ But it's how I feel sometimes

Halo and MW play insanely different from each other. And now getting back into Halo I have realized it now more than ever. So I'm chalking this up to an adjustment period. The rhythm and flow of Halo requires something a bit looser than that of MW and I'm working on re-orienting myself to that. Again this is not a dig on Halo as Reach is one seriously wicked rad game. I've missed Halo and having this new one be the best yet is just a gift from Bungie. And whereas the campaign in Reach is much better than MW2's, the flow of Halo's multiplayer doesn;t quite match up to the quality of CoD. But I'm slowly working my skills back up. I enjoy SWAT mode quite a bit because the one shot headshots really level the playing field. And I have much more fun when I'm actually killing people

In honor of Halo I did purchase the Reach Edition of the Xbox slim....and it is mega sexy and make the shield noise when you turn the friggin thing on. SCORE! So I've renewed my Live Gold account just for Halo. If anyone out there wants to join in with me and help work on our Halo skills let me know. I could use the help lol. Here's to learning not to suck and curse at the TV!!!

Okay so it's not that old lol. The video was shot last year at a theater called The Aggie which is in Ft Colins Colorado, about an hour north of Denver where I live. APPARENTLY this video was posted just over a year ago. I had no idea! We've always been succsessful in Colorado buut have had a lot of great new opportunities coming up and blowing up something fierce to the right people who are important in the right scenes if you get me So in searching I stumbled upon this and my old singer never told me he posted it! SO I've been sharing it with everybody and putting it on Facebook and the like and I figured why not share it with my gaming community buddies too since I love you sometimes more than my real and not nerdy enough friends. Just for fun! I'm the drummer btw. That's a tad important. Anyhoo enjoy and Metroid rocks! The end.

**WARNING** - yes my buddy Paul sorta kinda swears when running with the camera away from moshing dudes in the beginning. For those with sensitive ears lol.
