Just wanted to post that I'm still here. I've just not have been coming on as much, as I've been doing other things. Please give me time to check submissions, as I will get to them when I get the chance. Those that have been receiving mass rejected submissions, please review the submission guidelines before you submit. I have to follow it, other have to, and so should you.
Have a wonderful day!

Aloha!

Yesterday I posted a rant about a submission that I made for actor/comedian Bernie Mac. The submission was to add his date of death, since Bernie past away yesterday due to complications with pneumonia. Anyway, the sub was accepted, so either the editor accepted it, or it was accepted by a staff member which caused...a hughe caching issue with the accept showing in my history (received the Accepted PM late last night). Oddly, someone else made a submission removing his date of death, while adding Bernie's legal name. Therefore, as I look at his guide, the date of death isn't listed. I'm not going to bother adding it again, as another user could have noticed and is trying to add it.
Anyway...have a wonderful day!

R.I.P. Bernie Mac.

Aloha!

First off...sorry for not blogging or commenting on your blogs. I've been really busy lately.
Anyway...for this little rant. Well...I can see that a submission will be rejected. I made a submission early this morning to add the date of death to actor/comedian Bernie Mac. When I made the submission, it wasn't submitted. I even posted a User Submitted News after I made the submission. Well...I come on TV.com again to see that a TV.com staff member added the submission as his own. You'd think TV.com staff would check the queue to make things fair, before making their own submission. I guess not. Everything they submit goes live, so that bypasses the editor. Oh well...that just make me even closer to the 100 reject mark.
R.I.P. Bernie Mac.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Today marks my Three Year TV.com Anniversary. During those three years I made friends, saw strange things happen to the site, saw members leaving for personal reasons, saw members being banned for doing bad things, and other strange and weird things.
Anyway...have a wonderful weekend!

What's up with GameSpot right now? I'm trying to get onto the site to watch the Microsoft E3 Live show, but the whole entire site is down, as I can't connect to it. I'm able to get onto the other CNET sites, but not GameSpot.
Thanks for stopping.

Aloha!

Sorry for not blogging lately. Last month has been crazy for me. As most of you know I had a grandmother that pasted away last month. On top of that, I had a great uncle that pasted away last month as well. To make things even worst. My great uncle's wife (my great aunt) sister pasted away the same week as my grandmother. This made it really hard for my great aunt as she lost a sister and a husband in a short period of time. Not to mention her niece went into a coma after her mother (my aunt's sister) due to the stress of losing her mother.
As for the start of the new month (July) I went on a brief vacation to St. Louis, MO. When I went to see the St. Louis Arch, you can see how high the flood waters by going to the riverfront. IF (big word) I get a chance, I post some pics that I took during my brief vacation to St. Louis.
Anyway...I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July weekend.
Have a wonderful day!

As most of you know...the new Indy film made its US theatrical debut today in theaters across America. Anyway...I saw the film today and it was great. The film even had some humor to it. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone, but you do have to see it if you are a fan of the films.

Aloha!

First off...Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there.
Anyway...today I decided to purchase the complete box sets of "The Young Adventures of Indiana Jones" today at Best Buy. Since they were on sale for $49.99 a set, I picked up all 3. I managed to save even more since I used a coupon to receive an additional 10% off. Could not pass this up since the box sets tend to cost about $100 each.
Since I now own the collection, I may contribute to the guide on TV.com. Only difference is, figuring out which episode goes with what was originally aired on TV. The box sets are arranged by Indy's age (Young Years, The War Years, and The Years of Change), as the episodes are not in the order that they aired. Since I pretty know what goes were by the years, I hope it shouldn't be to difficult.
Thanks for stopping and have a wonderful day!

P.S. If you are a fan of the Indiana Jones movies, if you go to Kmart and purchase 4 2ltr. bottles of Dr. Pepper a coupon that has a code will print out at the cash register that can be used for a free ticket to see the upcoming Indy film.

With all the bad controversy over Miley Cyrus, it seems that there may be a new future for her if she agrees to an offer that was just put on the table. It seems that Playboy's Hugh Hefner wants Miley to pose for his magazine when she is of legal age. Click here for news story.

Today I was at a Sears store and discovered some video game bargains as they had some games marked well over 90% off. I managed to get Pokemon Trozei! and Starfox Command for the Nintendo DS for less than $3 each, as they were originally $34.99. I also managed to get Bicycle Casinofor the XBOX for less than $2, as it was originally $14.99. The fun thing is, the games didn't cost me a cent, as I managed to use a couple of gift cards that I received for free from Sears from one of their online email sign-up offers. So if I don't care for the game(s), I may trade them at a GameStop or another local game store, or put the game(s) up for trade on Goozex.
Oh...if you wonder what Goozex is, it's a site where you can trade games with fellow gamers. Right now, they have a promotion going on where they will give you a free game on them with no catch. It's free to join. If you like to join Goozex to get a free game click here to join.

With all of the out cry of duplicate show guides for the shows country of origin (i.e. UK, Japan, etc) and one for the US, I have an idea if TV.com doesn't want to comply with the complaints.
My idea would be to create web addresses just for that particular country. You would have the following:
TV.uk - United Kingdom
TV.au - Australia
TV.jp - Japan
TV.ca - CanadaPlus others. It shouldn't be that hard right?
This way, the guide of original origin will have a proper place that won't disrupt the US (unless the user chooses they want other country of origins to show). The idea is basically a spin off of GameSpot's other web addresses like GameSpot.uk. Plus, users will have the option if they want those guides to particularly show in their own county's web address. All blog info (emblems, editorships, stats, etc) will properly show all over the other addresses. Also, this will give the other countries the option to have CNET to place exclusive material just for that guides web address. i.e. BBC wants to add exclusive clips to one of the shows to the guide on the .uk site, that may never be on the US site.
So what do you think?
Anyway...have a wonderful day!

Aloha Everyone!

Well...I finally made it. As the previous editor went and retired, the second person in line that was a TU that should have been editor hasn't been on since February, finally came down to me be the editor. I have to say, that I'm now editor for one of Nickelodeon's hit shows, The Naked Brothers Band. The guide needs a lot of work, as I did take the time early this morning to use the episode renumbering tool to put all the episodes into proper order, and to make all the duplicate episodes into zeros. I now have to find out which thread that I need to report these duplicate episdoes, so staff could delete them. So...if anyone knows the link to that thread, a little help, as this would be the first for me to report duplicate epsodes with the current system.
Anyway...thanks for stopping and have a wonderful day!

Aloha!

Well, I noticed that a show that I've been contributing to just had the editor to retire. What sad is, the TU that will become the new editor hasn't been on since February. I'm currently 3rd in CPs and have been contributing to the guide. The show is going to premiere a new episode this weekend. Therefore, should I go directly to a staff member and explain the situation, so the guide will have an editor that is on; or just sit it out till the soon to be new editor that is MIA to be retired by staff?
